The family suite is very spacious and comes with a small balcony right by the Tuojiang River, offering great views. Taxis can drop you off directly at the hotel entrance. Its location upstream in the scenic area is perfect for a good stroll around.

I chose this hotel on Ctrip, and it's quite typical, having the advantages of a guesthouse with a few minor flaws. First off, its location is excellent, very convenient for getting around (though Furong Ancient Town isn't very big to begin with). My room opened into a small courtyard, and from the window, I had a panoramic view of the Youyang River and its scenery. The owner was also very kind, offering transfers to and from the high-speed rail station. Breakfast was a bit lacking (typical for guesthouses), but the minced pork noodles the auntie made were quite tasty. The air conditioning's heating worked well, though it was slow to start up. When you leave and pull the card, the power cuts off, so it takes a while for it to kick back in when you return, and it's a bit noisy. The shower's hot and cold water control wasn't very precise; a slight turn made it scalding, and a bit more made it cold. Overall, this guesthouse is very good. It's clean, and the room's bedding had no strange smells whatsoever. The facilities have a few minor imperfections, but they don't affect the overall stay experience. I would choose it again on my next visit.

Our experience at this hotel could not have been better. Throughout our entire stay, Xiao Yang took great care of us and helped us with absolutely everything, even assisting us with purchasing tickets and answering any questions we had. She is truly an angel. The rooms are very beautiful and comfortable, and the location is excellent, both for getting to the airport and for visiting the Avatar Park. The breakfast is delicious; we especially recommend the meat bao and the Zhangjiajie noodles.

If you're wanting somewhere close to the cable cart up to Tianmen mountain, look no further! Staying at Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie was a LOVELY experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Our room was immaculate, spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and quiet. And the bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing restful nights after long days of exploring. Breakfast each morning was delicious and offered a great variety, with fresh options to suit every appetite and a friendly service that made the start of the day a pleasure. Small touches throughout the hotel reflected attention to detail and a sincere commitment to guest comfort. Overall, this stay combined excellent service, comfort, and cleanliness in a way that felt both relaxing and refreshing. I’d happily return and recommend Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie to anyone visiting the area.

10/10 Recommend! Lovely place to stay! Big, spacious and clean! It is just beside the river and at a quieter place. Perfect for light sleepers. It’s also near to the train station. The boss is so warm and nice. He picked us up from the train station, but do arrange with them via Trip/Wechat. He helped with all the luggages and introduced us the place. A big shoutout to him for sending us back to the train station because we had too many big luggages and he was afraid that no cab would pick us up in time. Breakfast provided which was healthy and lady said could refill! Free MiaoZu costume (can try but advice to go to other stores that are cheaper if you would like to take many photos done by professionals)

This was by far our favorite hotel out of the 3 hotels we stayed during our 1-week trip in China. The service provided by hotel staff were impeccable - they were very attentive, passed us ponchos on a rainy day / explained in detail on how to plan our trip to Tianmen mountain and the national park etc. View from our room was amazing as well, can see the cable cars going by. Alot of eateries nearby the hotel and the Zhangjiajie station was within a few minutes walk too. Super convenient to go up to the Tianmen mountain - 10 mins walk to the entrance poin

Very good customer service!!! Really love the friendliness and the warm welcomes given by the peeps there! If you have any questions regarding on any of the attractions they will gladly be at your service! Giving tips such as how each route for the attraction works, roughly how long each route would take etc. Rooms were very clean and amenities such as the laundry were pretty good, best of them all were the free transportation service provided to and from the ZhangJiaJie National Park. Although sadly there weren’t many restaurants nearby to checkout, the breakfast provided was really good and filling enough before you start your walk around the parks! And if you are  still hungry you could just get a quick food delivery :) Thanks guys for the very welcoming stay! We really enjoyed it!!

The B&B's location is quite close to the East Gate of the Forest Park, about a five or six-minute drive. The owners, a husband and wife, are very kind, warm, and attentive. Not only did they help us buy tickets, but they also explained the routes and even upgraded our room for free. There were also many international guests, and complimentary breakfast was provided. The area around the hotel is very quiet, making it ideal for sleeping at night. Our trip was very comfortable. The only minor drawback was the water heater – it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. If that could be improved, it would be even more perfect.

The Anfaliting Hotel is definitely worth experiencing. Its location is excellent, close to the city center with convenient transportation. The hotel even offers discount coupons for Didi Chuxing (a ride-hailing service). The decor is grand, with warm lighting and an elegant ambiance. Upon check-in, the receptionist recommended breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious, and the service was imperceptible. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views, are spacious and bright, and the smart smart speaker allows you to control many devices with a simple voice command. The restaurant on the 5th floor offers à la carte lunch and dinner, and I even saw photos of many celebrities who have stayed there. If you're in Hengyang, this is the hotel for you!

The hotel's facilities are excellent, and I had a great experience throughout my stay! The environment is clean and tidy with no unpleasant odors. The room was spacious and well-lit, and the bedding was soft, so I slept wonderfully. The staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help. The location is also fantastic, with a subway station right downstairs, so I didn't have to worry about walking in the cold. It's also a standalone hotel, which made me feel very secure. The value for money is unbeatable, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!
