Exceeded our expectations !!!! Amazing new hotel across the street from the airport . We booked four rooms for one night, as we had an early morning flight and had been in Isla Mujeres for a family trip . First and most important, the hotel was very clean. Check in was quick and the staff was very friendly. They even gave us vouchers for complimentary cocktails in the hotel bar. We had dinner at the restaurant on site . The fish tacos were the best that we had eaten on our 12 day trip . The room was cold , the bed comfortable and the shower hot . There were complimentary bottles of water in the room . The hotel also offers room service, which some of our group opted for . Unfortunately , we did not take advantage of the large pool area on the 3rd floor, but it did look inviting ! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodations close to the airport . The shuttle runs every 30 minutes 24 hours a day .

Every time I look back on my holi, I think of the hotel and how much I enjoyed staying here, & that I’m so glad we did as at first we weren’t sure as it’s not adults only. I remember the lovely scent when you walk in, cleanliness 10/10, interior is goals, my favourite was lunch time as there’s different food trucks from tacos, burger & chips, ceviche… Some days in the lobby they’ll also put out selection of biscuits/sweet treats to have with a hot drink. The breakfast buffet also amazing!!! I miss having their freshly cooked omelettes & the hashbrowns. They even have an ice cream bar. Quite honestly just enjoyed myself eating. We stumbled across a show once in the hotel as were waiting for a dinner table, took us by surprise as it was so good the entertainers.

There were no major issues during our stay. Excellent service! Tips: Bring plenty of $1s for tipping. I'd recommend tipping around $1 per drink and $5-$10 per meal, more for above-and-beyond service.) Take care of the staff and they will take care of you. Meals: Know the dress code before you dine. The sushi restaurant at Umami doesn't require reservations and the food was amazing. Ivonne, our server, provided superior service. Also, as a vegetarian, I was happy that most of the menus indicated which items were vegetarian, but it was a little frustrating at the buffets to not know which items had meat. For example, at breakfast, I didn't know that the refried beans were made with lard. (However, when we asked about it, the staff offered to accommodate my dietary restrictions the next time we dined. Unfortunately, it was too late as we were leaving early the next morning.) Drinks: The drinks were excellent, I recommend getting a michelada (beer with lime and clam juice). Pools: There are two pools, a pool with a bar (not a swim-up bar) and another with hot tubs. There were plenty of daily activities at the main pool. Rooms: Our room (standard) was great, two double beds. No issues with cleanliness or maid service. I loved that there was a magnifying mirror for putting on makeup in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was also good for makeup/grooming. There was a hairdryer. Toiletries provided included shampoo, soap, body wash, and lotion. There was an iron and ironing board. The mini-fridge was stocked daily (not by the maids, a different person kept the fridge stocked) with a Sprite, a Coke, 2 large waters, and two beers. (If you need more water, just ask at the front desk.) There's also a coffee pot in the room. All-inclusive: Know ahead of time what's included in the all-inclusive package and/or don't assume; just ask! The all-inclusive does NOT include room service, premium drinks, spa services, certain menu items, or tips. Also, there are some restrictions regarding the Italian restaurant and Umami, but you can eat at Umami without reservations; you only need reservations to sit at the hibachi bar. I made sure to read a lot of reviews for Hotel NYX before this trip; the negative ones seem to be written by disgruntled guests who were rude to the staff or upset about an issue they didn't report during their stay (waiting till they left to complain). Hats off to the guest experience manager who artfully responds to every single review.

Overall this is a decent resort with a good amount of entertainment for a younger crowd. There are lots of options for dining but if you spend your time in the buffet, the options will get a bit repetitive and are lesser in quality. There are different shows and parties each day with a new theme to keep things fresh. The staff are nice but do expect to wait in a line for drinks at most any of the bars. The rooms were clean but are beginning to show a bit of their age. Check in was smooth and checkout was even easier. They do offer Covid testing if that is something that you will need but be sure to book when you arrive as time slots can fill up quickly. Overall, the strong points of this hotel are the massive and beautiful pool, a long and well maintained beach, many options for dining, and a fun and active a**osphere.

I have stayed in many Selina hostels but this is not one to rave about. The hotel is very basic and dated. It had what it needed but nothing above and beyond. Pool was dirty with a layer of sun cream on the surface & plant debris. Duvet in bedroom had no cover and the bed had been made with the sheet over the duvet so we had to pull it apart to put the sheet under the cover for hygiene reasons. On the plus side there is a lovely view of the lake, lots of cool iguanas around the pool & it’s walking distance to the main ***** without being too noisy.

The experience was greatly diminished when the hotel charged $150.00 for the room and key deposits. That was almost equal to the price of my entire stay. This should have been listed in the hotel description. Only stating that additional charges may be charged does not warn of the excessive charge I received. In addition, I am still fighting with them to get part of the deposit back. I travel frequently and this charge was definitely more than most hotels. And obviously, if complaints are not lodged, the deposits are not returned.

The hotel is simple, very clean, the rooms are as shown in the photos and all the staff is very friendly. We enjoy our stay in the hotel completely, it has a very good location, we stayed almost everything, separated it in a safe area and with all that is required at hand: hospital, market 28, banks, restaurants, shops oxx, The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

The Beachscape Kin Ha Villas in Cancun surpassed our expectations. After a small problem with our room the staff found us a new room and upgraded us to a suite, which was wonderful. The views from the sea view rooms are astounding. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Reception very helpful. Staff serving breakfast work hard and are always smiling. They also work in the evenings in the restaurant on the beachfront and bar. The food is very good. We had breakfast included. It was a hot and cold buffet with all sorts of different Mexican and European dishes. Cereal, fruit and pastries. All so nice. The restaurant food was also great. The grounds and gardens were beautiful. The only small detail we would have liked was a full length mirror, but after speaking to reception at the end of our stay they informed us that they are in 98% of the rooms. We should have asked at the beginning! We came to relax for four nights and were definitely able to do that. There is no thumping music playing like some of the other resorts close by. The beach is clean and the water is so clear. Beachscape has a little shop which sells nice beach clothes, swimwear and toys for children. It also has beer, juice, milk, etc… There is a 7/11 around the corner. There is also a supermarket (huge) about ten minutes walk away. This has everything you could possibly need and more! DO NOT be drawn in by the people at the top of the escalators in the supermarket on your way out!! They will ask to see your receipt and tell you that you can get a huge reduction in price on a catamaran trip and breakfast in a beautiful hotel around the corner for 90 minutes of your time. They will take you to another hotel miles away and try to make you buy time share and stay there for hours! The extremely friendly man who talked us into going was not at all friendly once we said we didn’t want time share and was very unhappy when we insisted he call us a taxi to take us back!

This a great hotel. All of the staff are friendly. I loved the rooftop area. I got a massage and it was hands out the best massage I’ve ever gad. Lidia was amazing! Great massage. I can’t wait to go back.

Bait and switch masters. Given the fact that this is a very popular resort, management obviously feels entitled to provide the service they deem minimally sufficient in order to maximize profits. My wife and I unknowingly made reservations for a takeover four day weekend. The group doing the takeover had their own events either away from the resort or in specific areas of the resort with no access available to the other guests. I had no issue with that fact given that they paid extra for their events. The fact that the group had over 80% of the rooms reserved resulted in the events organized for the rest of the guests, having next to no attendance, the club was dead every night we were there. The takeover group was very friendly and we had no issues with them. We didn’t see them very much. I requested a transfer to another one of their resorts but Adrian Guevara, supervisor on duty for Premier member services, was unwilling to transfer us unless I paid current prices for those resorts. I made my reservation for temptation ten months ago and even then, the rooms were far from inexpensive. I was not willing to pay more to be transferred. Mr Guevara was rude and the furthest thing from service oriented. Though the entertainment staff tried to improve the atmosphere, the playmakers were for the most part, the only ones on the dance floor every night we were there. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

We spent 10 magnificent days at the Grand Oasis’s Resort at the Pyramid Cancun at the beginning of June with friends, our trip was truly wonderful. We had a fabulous room with an amazing view, very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful we could not fault the hotel in anyway. The minibar was replenished daily by Rodmso Rodrigues Diaz who was always smiling and very friendly. The waiters/waitresses serving us daily were so friendly and helpful and again always with a smile. Judith Betel, Daniela Portilla and Janet Anzures were also very helpful and polite always willing to assist in anyway they could. It was really nice to see managers walking around the site very smartly dressed and always willing to help or assist in anyway and in particular we would like to thank Robin who was very professional and well spoken he made our stay at the Grand Oasis truly exceptional. Hotel facilities, health, service and views are very good. There are three restaurants that require reservations. Among them, the French restaurant has Michelin standards, and the service staff are warm and professional. Butler service and room service also allow guests to lie flat in the room.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is located in the center of the 7-shaped hotel area. You can fully experience the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea. The room is clean and tidy. The hotel provides paid airport transfers and the buffet breakfast is great.

I came here for a few days and I had a nice stay, the bathroom area could have been a little cleaner and the furniture was a bit dated. Staff was nice and responds to maintenance requests quickly.

We ordered a studio with a kitchen. It ’s very convenient to cook. There is tableware. There is also a washing machine with a dryer. If you live a few days you can cook by yourself. It ’s very convenient. The hotel has a beautiful beach infinity pool. The opposite is Shopping mall, take a bus at the entrance of 12 pesos, one stop per person can go to a large supermarket and a lively market, if you have the opportunity to go again, you should choose this one

The Hyatt Ziva in Cancun is one of those hotels I will go to endless times. First, there are 2 buildings inside the hotel. The adult-only high-rise floor is equipped with an infinity pool on the top floor. An access card is required for the entrance to the lobby, which provides good privacy. The family room can accommodate children and is divided into two types of rooms, the dolphin room and the sea view room. I went to the hotel front desk to upgrade to the dolphin room for 1 night (additional US$100). The floor-to-ceiling glass door opens to the dolphin area. There are six dolphins in total, and you can interact with the dolphins. Taking pictures is $100 for children who can take pictures independently, and $200 for two people who need to be accompanied by adults to enter the pool for 30 minutes. It is worth the experience. Personally, I think the sea view room is better. When you open the large floor-to-ceiling glass door, you can see the endless jelly sea. It is also quieter than the dolphin room. You can go to the dolphin area to see dolphins at any time, so the dolphin room is of little significance. Second, I ate at all eight restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast was all served in buffet-style restaurants. The variety is rich and can satisfy the tastes of people from all countries. The most recommended ones are the Italian restaurant and the French restaurant, which are a la carte. Way. The hotel also has an all-you-can-eat dessert shop (12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m.). I highly recommend trying the cakes and desserts. The cream is made very well, not sweet or greasy, unlike in the United States. The cake is so sweet~ Third, we highly recommend the beach hut, which is open from 9am to 6pm. It comes with services like ordering food, drinks, coconuts, and massages for US$150 a day. Fourth, parents with children must send them to the Kidz club. Picture 12 shows the activities inside. There are 6 teachers in it. They are all very, very nice girls. They are enthusiastic and love the children. My My daughter goes there every day. There are also many activities, including bracelet stringing, hand-painted hats, photo frame making, sand digging at the beach, go-kart racing, etc. Parents with children can free their hands. Fifth, the service staff at the hotel have a very good attitude. You can bring extra 1, 5, or 10 US dollars to eat with the chefs and service staff in each restaurant. The hotel's Asian restaurant has Teppanyaki, which requires reservation and can be made through the butler. Sixth, friends who like to drink can enjoy it. The hotel bar is open from morning to 11 o'clock in the evening. It is best to tip the bartender so that the alcohol content of the bartender you drink will be better, otherwise it will taste like Juice 🤭 Seventh, there is a local supermarket just a 5-minute walk outside the hotel. You can go to the supermarket to buy souvenirs. The price is relatively cheap. Do not go to the pedestrian street to buy souvenirs. The price is 10 times that of the supermarket. It is a pity that we were not matched with a butler this time, because each room is equipped with a private butler, and the Chinese-speaking butler did not work during the week of our stay. This is the best place I ever been. Place is beautiful, a very classic hotel, furniture, art pieces, decoration, everything very good quality and outstanding. Amenities, Food, drinks and location is a A+. I have nothing to say about, I am very impressed and still am, it will take me a while to find a place to be as good as this one. Now I want to talk about their services. I don’t know if it’s their training or if it’s the Mexican people, but I received from each and everyone the best services I ever had. No words to discutível how I felt about it. I just want to say thank you to all of you works at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, you all made my vacation awesome and I had the time of my life.

Excellent family stay. The staff are the true gems of this resort. The servers were kind, attentive, and funny. Effanio and Ernesto made us promise to come back soon. The entertainment staff is top notch. Alexander and Sergio were so great, we loved their games, especially the Spanish lesson! And Alondra and Abril in the playroom were so wonderful with our kids. They made them feel like such a big deal- our boys still talk about all 4 of them daily. The daily iced coffees and treats from the ice cream hut were such a big hit. Liga at the pool was so sweet and kept the drinks coming (even virgin “Dirty Monkeys” for our little guys). And the food was really wonderful- room service too! We had some trouble getting channels to load on our tv- and the gentleman who came to fix it sang us opera! We went for the scenery and the experience- but we fell in love with the staff!

one of the best hotel I have stayed, you have everything like 12 restaurants to eat and the pools and the place to do kayak and be on the ocean pools ara amazing its a nice resort with everything you can dream, amazing views and the restaurant the mercado san juan its amazing for breakfast its food all around Mexico you need a week to see the whole hotel, plus you have acces to all the parks of Xcaret we try the xenses and Xcaret at night its nice, everything for all the family better than the disneys resorts I think its one of the top 10 best hotels in the world, it has something for all kind of taste, from privacy to a lot of places for socialize. I will comeback again for longer stay its worth it.

Hotel( Guillermo ) initiatively solve the mistake for us, which is a very good move! Allow us to enjoy more in the beautiful trip. Restaurant waiters are super kind and pay attention on their guests which is five star service we expected all the time. Thanks Walter giving us a wonderful experience. Also the one who assisted us bring luggage downstairs in this morning, Axel was super detail oriented in service, perspected our needs!! He deserved more! Thanks for those beautiful exp. your colleagues made our trips easy & enjoyable!

We just returned from our anniversary trip to the Andaz Mayakoba, and we loved it. We actually starting planning our next visit before we had even left! The service is excellent--only positive experiences with all staff we encountered. They are so kind, helpful, and sincere. We loved having our room cleaned every day, then tidied again in the evenings while we were at dinner. The beach is beautiful--lovely soft, light sand and NO sea****! The whole Mayakoba area has barriers placed in the sea to keep the sea**** from getting into the swimmable areas and onto the beach (we heard from other couples on our flight back that sea**** was a problem on other beaches around Cancun and Playa del Carmen). The whole resort is lovely with meticulous grounds. The buildings have a modern feel to them (stainless steel, gray woods, glass), but with a beautiful, colorful mural painted on each one (in the lagoon area). The regular king bedrooms are spacious with big bathrooms, a sitting area, and an outdoor patio. (We've stayed in suites in the past which are lovely and have a great little plunge pool, but don't ever really use all the space since we're usually off doing things). The resort is divided into a lagoon area and a beach area with bicycles you can ride back and forth, or golf carts that will take you from one area to the other. Both areas have their advantages with access to restaurants and pools. The lagoon area feels a little quieter, probably. It's easy to access both areas--I enjoyed riding the bikes to and fro. Food is very good. Highlights for us were Sotavento which is magical at night--right on the beach with lights and lanterns. I had sea bass and the green salad at Sotavento and both were delicous. The ice creams there were top notch--we tried two of the desserts one night, then came back again the next night for dessert so we could try the other ice creams! Casa Amate is a little pricey--but worth the splurge. Everything is prepared so beautifully. The red snapper was cooked perfectly and bursting with spices and flavor, and my wife's chicken was ultra tender and flavorful. Starters, salads, and desserts were fantastic. The other restaurants are less money--Tinta del Pulpo and Cocina Milagro portions are large and shareable--especially if you plan to get dessert! (I liked Tinta because when in Mexico, I love eating good Mexican food.) Overall--highly recommended. One of our favorite resorts anywhere.

I have stayed in some top hotels. This is undoubtedly the overseas hotel with the best value for money and the best service I have ever stayed in. It includes free park tickets. Other hotels pick up from the airport by shuttle bus or the like. This one is a Model Every employee around the clock is enthusiastic and serious. They also speak the best English among the Ten Days Inn in Mexico.

This is quickly becoming our favorite resort! We went in October (you can read my review from then on here as well) and again in March and have already planned our third visit for this fall! We opted for a third story ocean view room this time (we had a private corner pool suite last time). We loved listening to the waves every night from our room and waking up to the sunrise every morning. The room was very similar to the last one we had. Very modern, marble bathroom etc but this room had a jetted soaking tub. We requested building 67 so we could be close to the infinity pool and Helios restaurant. From the moment you arrive you are treated like family. Israel, the bellboy captain, is always prepared with a warm welcome and Kevin at the front desk is always a wonderful familiar face to see! Alberto, Sergio and Romeo are amazing golf cart drivers! They always get you where you need to go with a smile and a warm greeting! They have become our friends and we look forward to seeing them again soon! All of the butlers are excellent as well. Rafael and Mariana took great care of us! If there is anything at all you need, don’t hesitate to ask your butler. The food and drinks here are excellent. There are top shelf options included such as crown royal, captain Morgan, grey goose etc. David, Jonathan and Mayra made sure our cups were never empty :) Daniel at La Jarra (trs only beach bar) was a treat! We enjoyed hanging out there with him. He works very hard keeping all the trs guests happy! Alfredo at La Terraza (the “quiet” pool) made us some special custom drinks that were amazing! We ate breakfast every day at Helios (capricho wasn’t open) and often times lunch as well. My husband even started making up breakfast sandwiches for himself lol and they made them for him every day! Martha and Wendy made breakfasts exceptional! They even brought us a sweet goodbye dessert plate :) Ivonne is an amazing hostess and has become someone that we feel is our friend and we look forward to seeing her again soon! Our favorite dinner spots are Tentazione and La Boheme. We like sitting in the special booth there! We tried Sumptuori (hibachi) this trip and enjoyed it as well. The evening entertainment here is the BEST that we’ve encountered since Covid restrictions affected the resorts. The chic show is running on a smaller scale and is in the terrace bar, full moon. The burlesque show is fabulous and should not be missed! We also enjoyed ****** night! Be prepared to make new friends here on a nightly basis! It’s so much fun! Make sure to check out Las Rocas, the salt water pool. Bring your snorkel gear and water shoes! We also enjoyed a round of putput golf at the activities center! Insider tip: take an early morning walk before it gets hot out. Grab a latte (with amaretto lol) from the lobby bar and head out. Walk all over. Discover the cenote and the flamingo area. My friend gave me the famous Xcaret Water Park. The hotel prices on Christmas are ridiculously expensive, especially the hotels under Xcaret. So this time, apart from staying in this Xcaret Mexico (hereinafter referred to as X), the other one is not very popular with Chinese tourists. Many Iberostar Quetzal (hereinafter referred to as Q). The price of Hotel Q is less than half of that of Hotel X (of course, Hotel X includes tickets to the amusement park, whether it is worth it or not). I recommend Q more than X, which is more popular with Chinese people, has better hardware facilities, and better scenery. environment: Hotel X is a five-star hotel that Chinese people are familiar with. It has large rooms, new facilities, and hardware. The beach is very distinctive, it feels like an Avatar floating mountain. Most of the beach is reef, a short stretch of sand, and the water quality is super good. X is the garden and Q is the jungle. Catering Services: If I only stayed at the X hotel, I might think it was fine, but unfortunately I stayed at the Q hotel. In contrast, Q Hotel has a feeling of being at home, the waiters are more happy and easy-going, the drinks are open for drinking, the buffet is fresh and varied, and there is basically no need to wait for a table. You can eat big lobster and oysters on Christmas Day, without being stingy at all. In contrast, the waiters at Hotel X are all business-like, and they have to wait for a table when there are not many people at the buffet. It looks like a big place, but there are few tricks to eat and drink. I also made an appointment for a Xin Gao Japanese meal. Don't expect too much. My daughter ordered an appetizer of rice, and what was served was a bowl of white rice! I ordered sashimi without wasabi, the waiter said sorry, there is no wasabi today, I will soak ginger slices for you instead of wasabi Activity: It is very convenient to go to the park under Xcaret, every 20 minutes. The hotel has a free drop-off service, you need to make an appointment one day in advance

1 star - Please read if you care for your credit history and money. I worked in the travel industry and often travel a few times a year. My fiancé and I upgraded to the “privilege” rooms paying $420USD. Allow me to list the issues 1) The room was not fully stocked and we had to have room service come again to stock the bar 2) Hairdryer did not work 3) The Jaccuzi in the bathtub was leaking and we had Maintenance fix it the next day (I have videos) 4) Upgrading gives you a wine bottle. We didn’t get this until the next day AND no wine glasses 5) Room was dirty and not cleaned properly all the days and basics missing like tissues and etc What was the point of paying this much for an upgrade? The butler didn’t even schedule my ride back from the room to the lobby for check out time although she promised to. Here is when it gets worse!!! KEEP reading please They gave us a sales presentation to become a member with them. 10,000USD. I asked them not to a hard inquiry on my credit and they did. They lied and not no one from the company is responding to me. I emailed them to cancel my agreement and everyone is bouncing me back and forth. The director of sales Roger and the sales representative Ray are scammers. They are not willing to resolve any issue with doing a hard check on my credit or compensation. I want both Roger and Ray to fix my credit with the company and provide compensation for this horrible experience. I will write my experience and reviews everywhere until my issues are resolved.

This was our first time visiting. The hotel was amazing and beautiful. The food and drinks were fabulous. Employees and staff were very helpful. Raul works at the main pool. Very good drinks and sevices. Carols works at main pool and always has fast service with drinks. Heraclio has a great personality. He will find you when needed. All of the staff around the restaurants and pools are very friendly and great to talk to. Find Dora. This lady is trusting and amazing. She will get you anything you need. Very approachable. Everything is very special if you need it to be.

We loved having our room cleaned every day, then tidied again in the evenings while we were at dinner. The beach is beautiful--lovely soft, light sand and NO sea****! The whole Mayakoba area has barriers placed in the sea to keep the sea**** from getting into the swimmable areas and onto the beach (we heard from other couples on our flight back that sea**** was a problem on other beaches around Cancun and Playa del Carmen). The whole resort is lovely with meticulous grounds. The buildings have a modern feel to them (stainless steel, gray woods, glass), but with a beautiful, colorful mural painted on each one (in the lagoon area). The regular king bedrooms are spacious with big bathrooms, a sitting area, and an outdoor patio. (We've stayed in suites in the past which are lovely and have a great little plunge pool, but don't ever really use all the space since we're usually off doing things). The resort is divided into a lagoon area and a beach area with bicycles you can ride back and forth, or golf carts that will take you from one area to the other. Both areas have their advantages with access to restaurants and pools. The lagoon area feels a little quieter, probably. It's easy to access both areas--I enjoyed riding the bikes to and fro. Food is very good. Highlights for us were Sotavento which is magical at night--right on the beach with lights and lanterns. I had sea bass and the green salad at Sotavento and both were delicous. The ice creams there were top notch--we tried two of the desserts one night, then came back again the next night for dessert so we could try the other ice creams! Casa Amate is a little pricey--but worth the splurge. Everything is prepared so beautifully. The red snapper was cooked perfectly and bursting with spices and flavor, and my wife's chicken was ultra tender and flavorful. Starters, salads, and desserts were fantastic. The other restaurants are less money--Tinta del Pulpo and Cocina Milagro portions are large and shareable--especially if you plan to get dessert! (I liked Tinta because when in Mexico, I love eating good Mexican food.) Overall--highly recommended. One of our favorite resorts anywhere.

My friend gave me the famous Xcaret Water Park. The hotel prices on Christmas are ridiculously expensive, especially the hotels under Xcaret. So this time, apart from staying in this Xcaret Mexico (hereinafter referred to as X), the other one is not very popular with Chinese tourists. Many Iberostar Quetzal (hereinafter referred to as Q). The price of Hotel Q is less than half of that of Hotel X (of course, Hotel X includes tickets to the amusement park, whether it is worth it or not). You can eat big lobster and oysters on Christmas Day, without being stingy at all. In contrast, the waiters at Hotel X are all business-like, and they have to wait for a table when there are not many people at the buffet. It looks like a big place, but there are few tricks to eat and drink. I also made an appointment for a Xin Gao Japanese meal. Don't expect too much. My daughter ordered an appetizer of rice, and what was served was a bowl of white rice! 1 star - Please read if you care for your credit history and money. I worked in the travel industry and often travel a few times a year. My fiancé and I upgraded to the “privilege” rooms paying $420USD. Allow me to list the issues 1) The room was not fully stocked and we had to have room service come again to stock the bar 2) Hairdryer did not work 3) The Jaccuzi in the bathtub was leaking and we had Maintenance fix it the next day (I have videos) 4) Upgrading gives you a wine bottle. We didn’t get this until the next day AND no wine glasses 5) Room was dirty and not cleaned properly all the days and basics missing like tissues and etc What was the point of paying this much for an upgrade? The butler didn’t even schedule my ride back from the room to the lobby for check out time although she promised to. Here is when it gets worse!!! KEEP reading please They gave us a sales presentation to become a member with them. 10,000USD. I asked them not to a hard inquiry on my credit and they did. They lied and not no one from the company is responding to me. I emailed them to cancel my agreement and everyone is bouncing me back and forth. The director of sales Roger and the sales representative Ray are scammers. They are not willing to resolve any issue with doing a hard check on my credit or compensation. I want both Roger and Ray to fix my credit with the company and provide compensation for this horrible experience. I will write my experience and reviews everywhere until my issues are resolved.

We just got back from an extended family reunion at the Grand Velas, Riviera Maya and can't say enough positive things about it...but will try: - The rooms were fantastic. Super comfortable and big enough to fit families of 5 (assuming one is an infant) - One of our party had mobility issues, which was not an issue at the hotel - The food is unbelievably good for an all inclusive hotel - The service is amazing, all around. The people at the restaurants and pool are working non-stop to serve you. A huge shout out to our personal concierge Jorge who helped our family tremendously and to Osvald from the - Teen club who were amazing - There are a ton of activities to do for all ages - The pool is unbelievable - Make sure you try Piaf Can't wait to go back!
