BButterLinThe hotel is a bit old. When you take a shower, the top makes a lot of noise, and so does the water dispenser! The room is a bit small, but it is still comfortable to stay in. It is a hotel that I will visit again.

The hotel's location was convenient, the accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. However, one aspect of my stay that truly stood out was the breakfast. The hotel's breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide range of options to suit every taste. But what really caught my attention was the omelette station. The omelette chef was incredibly skilled and attentive, creating custom omelettes to order with a wide selection of fillings. Each omelette was cooked to perfection, with a fluffy texture and flavorful fillings that made every bite a treat. I had the pleasure of trying several different combinations, and each one was better than the last. The quality of the ingredients was also noteworthy. Fresh eggs, a variety of cheeses, and an assortment of vegetables and meats were all on offer, ensuring that every omelette was a delicious and nutritious start to the day. Overall, my stay at Fremont Marriott was fantastic, and the breakfast omelette was a standout feature that made my experience even more enjoyable. GGuest UserThis is our second time staying at this Holiday Inn. Before checking in, due to our travel plans, we needed to store our luggage at the hotel for several days. We had inquired with nearby hotels but didn't get clear information. Today, with the help of Kevin at the front desk, we paid $100 to store three pieces of luggage for five days. This might be due to different policies, as we're used to the service in our home country. Nevertheless, we're very grateful for his help in checking and ultimately agreeing to store our luggage. The breakfast, as always, is excellent. We'll be staying at the Holiday Inn again when we return to Los Angeles in a couple of days.

YYC008Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars; First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review. The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-) Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance. 1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process. 2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance. Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

This is a chain hotel, with locations in both San Francisco and LA. It's right in downtown San Francisco, very close to Union Square, making it super convenient for getting around. Tt_m_yThe location is fantastic, with direct access to the D line. K-town also offers plenty of great food and shopping. It's a converted detached building, and the front yard is beautifully decorated. Inside, there's a lot of vintage decor, making it feel like it used to be an office, complete with a piano. I booked the room hoping for a tall arched window but it didn't have one. However, the overall facilities are clean, and the bed outlets and lighting are well-thought-out and convenient. The front desk staff are very welcoming.

KKhadija.Upon check-in, I was asked to pay for the room, which I did. However, I noticed the amount charged was higher than the total from my original booking. I asked the receptionist (I believe his name was Raul, though I’m not entirely sure) why that was. I explained the amount I had been quoted during booking. He then mentioned, almost as an afterthought, that a $150 deposit is taken at check-in. I told him this should have been communicated before processing the payment, as it’s standard practice to inform guests of such charges upfront. While I wasn’t pleased, I went ahead and paid. I also mentioned that I had submitted a request in advance for a room away from the elevator with a good view. He told me the hotel was fully booked, which confused me, since I had booked well in advance and included my request at the time. He assigned me Room 503, which was directly across from the elevator, not away from it. I didn’t want to complain as I had just traveled over 12 hours from London to San Diego and was extremely tired. I planned to grab some dinner and get straight to bed. However, the room was quite noisy—there was a lot of hallway activity, and the family next door had their TV volume quite high. I decided not to go downstairs and complain, hoping I could just fall asleep. Unfortunately, I was woken up around 3 a.m. by a crying child, and again at 5 a.m. At that point, I was extremely frustrated and went to speak to the receptionist on duty, Matthew. I explained everything to him, and he was very understanding. He said there was availability and offered to move me immediately
this was surprising, considering the earlier claim that the hotel was full. He moved me to Room 204. While it wasn’t far from the elevator either, he assured me it would be quieter since there were no large families on that floor. He was right—the room was much more peaceful, and I appreciated his help. At checkout, I saw the same receptionist who had checked me in and decided not to approach him. Instead, I spoke to Antonio at the other desk. I asked about the deposit, and he informed me it would take 2–3 business days to be released. Naturally, I wasn’t thrilled to hear this, especially after the earlier issues, so I shared my entire experience with him. He apologized sincerely and mentioned the initial receptionist may need additional training, which they would look into. Overall, the stay was decent for a short 3-night visit, but the start could have been handled much better.
