15 min walk from nationaltheartret station We were lucky enough to walk via the palace and the changing of the guard Situated on a quiet residential street but with restaurants and shops around the corner Easy check in Staff extremely friendly Accommodation superb. Decor in keeping with era of the building. Extremely clean Free nespresso coffee station in public area for guests In our suite we had microwave kettle, fridge dishwasher hob/oven so could self cater if wishing to offset some of the Oslo prices Also only 15 minute walk to Vigeland park. The hotel is located at 5-6 minutes relaxed walking from the train station - just near the sea. It has a small lobby, but we could also use some tables of its restaurant, while enjoying free coffee or tea throughout the day. It also offers light dinner included in the price and it was one of the reasons I selected it. The dinner includes buffet of few salads and amazing dressings, as well a daily soup, a meal and freshly baked bread. The breakfast was very tasty, beautifully decorated on a small table - including varieties of options for every taste, immediately re-filled when emptied. Everything offered was of a high quality. There is also a free gym and sauna. The room is not big, but is sufficient. Nice decoration. Not too big beds in a twin. The toilet is quite tiny, with intelligent shower cabin. Nice huge windows with sun the whole day long. Surprisingly - there was no fridge. The TV had only few, national channels. All staff members are very polite and helpful. I got the room immediately on arrival - few hours before official check-in time. The check-out is really fine - set at noon. There is very small, but free luggage room. Finally - I got very good price for it on Trip.com, compared to the other providers.

There is free coffee and sparkling water in the lobby, which is very intimate in Norway, where prices are high. Breakfast is very rich and excellent. There is a supermarket near the hotel, there is also a movie theater, a new shopping mall has been opened, and the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the subway station.

This facility created solid value for my wife and I visiting our son's family here last September, and for me again this May. Located immediately adjacent to both the Tube and bus stops is hugely efficient for getting around, which is rarely more than 5-6 Rube stops or 6-8 bus stops. The ability to use both systems at a single location is great. The 'built-in' shopping complex, and the overall adjacent restaurants, create a 'village' feel that really keeps the travel time, cost and effort down. The riverside walk, especially down the Aker river to the harbourfront, makes for a long ”downtown” day, but it's so worth it. And I'm 75, recovering from 2 knee-replacement surgeries!

Super location. Right next to oslo city mall and central station and all transport and entertainment food options. This is a modern hotel (or very thoroughly renovated). Entrance was very busy or maybe because I was there at around 2 pm. Very nice looking lobby with lots of seating spaces and good vibes. An Andy Warhol is a. Ice touch. Check in was smooth but room was not ready so I kept my bags in their bag room. It was ready when I came back at around 240. Elevator is a combination of using your card and entering your floor on a touch screen so don’t just hop in with someone else. Room was really modern, hip and user friendly. Smart tv, lots of storage spaces and big bathroom. The view was of the inner courtyard so not much. Bed was very comfortable and really overall liked the room a lot. Depending on your room number it could be a bit of a walk from the elevator so keep that in mind. I tried out the basement level which had sauna, pool, gym. Gym looked good but didn’t use and the sauna was very nice. The pool is round, very small and about the only negative of the hotel. Forget laps, you can sort of float around but even that becomes a problem if 2 or 3 people are in there. I wanted to see the views from the top so went to their restaurant and must say had a wonderful time. I wrote a separate review on Norda but suffice to say it was well worth the visit just for the views alone and the food was very good as well. Finally the breakfast was something else. Honestly I doubt if anyone can try out all the dishes as there are so many. Quality stuff I must add, different types of salmon, avocado halves(!) and what not. Really something to behold. Overall though definitely not cheap, I really liked the modern aesthetic, the prime location and excellent room facilities and the breakfast and Norda were just icing on the cake.

We where positively surprised by this fantastic and beautiful hotel in the hart of Oslo, recommended by friends. Just in the middle of everything and close to anything. Beautiful, stylish and modern room, and I even have highlight the quality of soap and shampoo in the bathroom from Rituals!😅 Great breakfast and breakfast facilities, could even make your own waffles🤗 Top score and I recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo, business or pleasure. 10 out of 10👍🏻 (only missed water or soft drinks in the minibar and an ironing kit in the room 😉)

The hotel is generally good, there is a parking place at the entrance for loading and unloading luggage, the parking lot is underground, and a small door not far to the right of the hotel's main entrance enters. Note that the door and driveway are particularly narrow, you must drive in carefully. The parking fee is expensive, 250 crowns per night, but cheaper than outside. But there were few parking spaces. When we arrived at the hotel later in the afternoon, a waitress said there was no parking space underground, so I went outside to the nearby public parking lot to park. After I unloaded my luggage and checked in, I took a chance to go to the basement level and found that there was still a vacant seat. I immediately went to the front desk to handle the parking procedures. In the next few days, I walked around the city on foot. Without moving a car, I walked to the Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace, the National Opera House, and the Munch Museum. Hotel rooms are more comfortable, breakfast is great, there are salmon, two ways. Hardly ever seen salmon in hotels in Sweden and Denmark. In short, everything was satisfactory.

I booked this hotel based on reviews saying that it was quite centrally located. And for the most part it is. The central train station is a 17-minute walk with luggage. But once you get to the hotel, there are steps and curbs. We came in from the airport in a taxi. (Avoid. The fare can give you a heart attack or a fine dining meal.) My luggage had broken and so I had to lug my, well, that's the reason they call it luggage. It's quite a walk from the taxi stand. We had to circle the hotel as the driver was not familiar. The rooms are small painted black and purple/reddish that seemed to be intentionally dramatic as the hotel is across the passageway from a theatre. It gave the room a dark tone and an Alfred-Hitchcock-Psycho sense. The toilet is in a smaller room separate from the bathroom sink and shower. I thought that the hotel tried to compensate. The breakfast was the best in my visit to seven cities. Then, included in the hotel package, was an afternoon tea and a dinner. The dinner was homey--salad, soup, fish, fries and soft drinks. If you are so minded, it could be a dinner. Staff were helpful. We had an issue with the room and after explaining the staff said: I do not really understand but let me come up and see how I can help. In contrast, some staff in other hotels have simply shrugged their dhoulders.

Located just behind Aker Brygge, few mins walk from harbor front with bars & restaurants. It’s a « No staff » hotel, which wasn’t really clear during booking process. Room was fine, clean & tidy. Good quality bath soap & shampoo, a Nespresso machine in room too but the hair dryer didn’t work… Still a nice place to stay & not too expensive in Oslo
