Sure Hotel by Best Western Aberdeen ★★★

"Room was clean. 1 Socket down at the skirting board. Not good if u suffer from a bad back. Nowhere to charge ur phone, no USB ports. Cleaning staff lays clean bedding on a dirty carpet outside the room. Continental breakfast doesn't exist. U can have frosties, rice krispies or porridge but don't expect to eat it with cutlery, you can have a cup of tea but don't expect any sugar or even a teaspoon. Scottish tourist board gave it 3 stars I'd give it 1 that's me being generous, would I stay here again,? Never in a month of Sunday's, I don't recommend this hotel"

The Aberdeen Altens Hotel ★★★★

"I really enjoyed the steam room and sauna. Close to bus stops so it was convenient to get around. Walkable distance from the aberdeenshire coastal path, which was very pretty despite the very narrow paths (photo attached). Food was a bit expensive from the restaurant."
