"We arrived and were greeted by Ed. He was attentive and available if we needed anything. We stayed in Prairie Edge Suite, and much to our surprise we were stocked with snacks and drinks. What a nice touch. The dish soap and hand soap was high quality, as well as shampoo and soap that was provided. None of that was necessary, but it made our stay that much more pleasant to have such a thoughtful host. The suite was immaculate. This is a historic inn and a rustic property filled with charm. It’s a perfect location off the beaten path but within walking distance to everything we needed. The only time we drove was to go to the Deep Creek Trailhead. We will be visiting again."
