"Entrance was from the back as the front reception is closed an hour for lunch. Front reception is also closed at 6pm. The back entrance will need to be used. Several stairs need to be climbed inside to get to rooms and outside to get to the room. Rooms and building smells musty. Tacky decor. Very outdated. The room offered was so tiny, we asked if we could possibly upgrade to another room. 20.00 extra got us a bigger room with a balcony view of the main street. Bed was comfortable but, won't stay here again. Overpriced for what was offered. Photos online are very different to what we saw."

"We recently stayed for three nights. It has been obviously renovated in the last few years. Very nice layout. Very clean rooms. The bath was huge! I prefer a bath to a spa because I know they are easier to keep hygienic between guests. The view was nice and the grounds were big. Gardens for guests to use were well maintained. The breakfast was spot on! Perfect amounts of thoughtfully prepared food. The only suggestion was that the TV didn’t face the bed, this is due to shape of the room. The tv could be mounted on a hinge so it swings out. That would be a nice addition. Overall a lovely spot to unwind as a couple"

"The tv needs upgrading for night time when you just want to wind down after being out and about.....only a few channels available because it's so old. Free Wifi would be nice. Could do with a bigger fridge and better equipped kitchen....better pots, pans, sharp knives etc. Apart from those points, a nice place to stay."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The rooms are incredibly spacious and sparkling clean, providing a very comfortable environment to relax. The staff members are exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. Another huge plus is the location—it’s absolutely excellent and close to everything, 5min by car from the town center. If you are looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and a prime location, this is it. It is definitely worth staying here"

"I guess it’s difficult to describe and add to near perfection. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere with tranquil surroundings bathed in nature, remote but not isolated only a short drive to Denmark etc. in the UK we would call this a lodge, it’s well equipped, wonderfully decorated with some amazing quirky items dotted around, some of which we guess would have been found on the property ? Like the front of an Austin J series truck, amazing what can be done with a Hills Rotary washing line !! It has everything you need for a real peaceful getaway we consider ourselves lucky and honoured to have stayed there and would certainly book again if in the area."

"Oh my goodness. My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the beautiful property and Robins Nest cottage. It was absolutely beautiful and we could not recommend William Bay Cottages enough. There’s a beautiful cafe and shop on site, tennis court and games room also. Not far from town, and close to lots of local produce. We would love to stay again another time."
