"We stayed for three nights over the holiday weekend. Everything was perfect and what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The service was impeccable and the food was really great. I could list everything, but it was all good. My only suggestion is to perhaps provide some type of evening musical entertainment in the lobby, even a piano player."

"We were not allowed to stay at the hotel with our two dogs, which was very disappointing. We have always loved this hotel and had stayed here three times before, especially because of the very polite Russian-speaking staff and the lovely wine café downstairs. On our previous visits, we also saw other guests staying with dogs, so we had absolutely no reason to think there would be a problem. Still, just to be safe, we called the hotel before making a reservation and specifically asked about bringing our dogs. The administrator categorically refused and said that he would allow one dog, but not two. Our dogs are small, well-behaved and cause absolutely no problems. We easily found another pet-friendly hotel on Ben Gurion Street, so fortunately our trip was not ruined. I completely understand hotels that have a strict no-pets policy — this is their choice, and I respect it. What was upsetting in this case was the uncertainty and the selective approach to which pets are allowed when the hotel is presented as pet-friendly. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning to this hotel."
