Real Guest Reviews about Hobart Accommodations
"Everything was great overall. The only thing I didn’t like was that the air conditioning had to be controlled through reception rather than directly from the room. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay."
"A value for money stay. There is covered car park provided for visitors at a reasonable charge per 24 hours. It is close to CBD with restaurants around. If you stay during Sunday, the Farm Gate Market is just within a few minutes walk. A special zone is closed for the booths set up. You can find delicious hot coffee, pancakes, sushi, bread and many others in the Market for breakfast. The hotel has daily housekeeping service. Rooms are spacious but the bathroom is a bit small. In general, the stay is great and the receptionist is friendly,"
"The service was excellent, and the rooms and location are perfect. I would recommend asking the concierge about paying for secure parkjng, as the “free” parking is just council parking on the street, which is only free after 4:00pm. Paid parking (if available) gives 24 hr access to a secure carpark that is only a short walk to the hotel."
"This is a new hotel, and overall, the facilities are quite good, and the service is very personable. However, the parking fee wasn't $35 as stated, but rather $40 per night. Since it's in the city center, only valet parking is available, with unlimited in-and-out privileges for the day. Yesterday, picking up and dropping off the car was smooth and punctual. This morning, January 12, 2026, I was scheduled to get my car at 9:15 AM. The valet counter only had one long-haired staff member who told me I was 'second in line'. After waiting for five minutes, the person who retrieved the cars returned. When I went to get my car, he had completely forgotten about me. This is incredibly irresponsible and almost made me miss my flight."
"Awesome hotel in a fantastic location! The Henry Jones Art Hotel is an excellent hotel well worth a visit. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was incredibly spacious."
"The location is quite good, within walking distance to the pier, CBD, and other attractions. The service was excellent; they even gave me warm cookies during check-in. The only minor flaw is the bathroom design, which I found a bit inconvenient. The sink is very small, so washing my face splattered water everywhere, and the shower area had no enclosure except for a curtain. Taking a normal shower felt like it would flood the bathroom (I wonder if my room was a disabled-accessible room? The front desk might have mentioned it, but I didn't fully understand). I'm not sure if other room types are the same."
