"We loved our ski trip to this amazing hotel, very tastefully decorated and quaint. Great location in the centre of Megeve a few mins walk from the cable car and helpful friendly staff. We enjoyed our two dinners in the restaurant good atmosphere, relaxing spa area. The only downside was the handheld shower head in the bath making it difficult to shower. We would love to stay here again in the future."

"The hotel is in a great location and is completely walkable to restaurants shops as well as some entertainment venues. The management and facilities of the chain hotel are considered to be in line with the standards of Star Hotel. The service staff are very nice. Many items in the breakfast are local food and have local characteristics."

"We stayed at this hotel as a family of 6. All of us thought that this is probably the most welcoming hotel we have recently stayed at. The service that this hotel provides was up to 5+ stars. Laurine (maybe I spelled it incorrectly) was the first one to meet us when we arrived and her kindness, dedication, professionalism and genuine desire to be of help set the right mood about this hotel. Butlers, door bell guys, all of them were so helpful, smiled, always asked if they can help. I haven’t seen such eagerness to help from the hotel staff for a while. Breakfast is another story, all the people that work at breakfast were so efficient, so quick, never missed any requests we had and as everyone else at the hotel, they too were all so attentive and kind. Cleaning service is also amazing. The room was well cleaned, water replenished, apples left for us to enjoy. I cant even say that I liked the location or the restaurant or spa, coz that being also so good and right, can’t exceed how amazing the hotel staff was. "Returning to the Four Seasons Hotel Megève for a second stay was a pleasure. Since our previous visit, the property has earned the prestigious Palace distinction, an accolade reserved for France’s finest hotels and one that carries the expectation of exceptional service, facilities, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and pleasantly recognized from our stay the previous year. We were also graciously upgraded to a Mountain View room, a thoughtful gesture that was sincerely appreciated. Our room, while on the smaller side, was beautifully designed with refined finishes and excellent craftsmanship. Diptyque amenities are provided throughout, and one feature that deserves special recognition is the hotel’s air conditioning. Unlike many luxury mountain resorts that either lack air conditioning altogether or offer systems with limited cooling capacity, the Four Seasons Megève provides a true, efficient air-conditioning system that maintains a comfortable temperature even during the warmer summer months—an increasingly valuable amenity that many competing luxury properties fail to offer. One disappointment remains the choice of bed linens. Four Seasons uses custom-branded linens manufactured in China and other Asian countries across its portfolio. While the quality is acceptable, at room rates ranging from approximately €1,000 to €4,000 per night, one could reasonably expect a renowned luxury European linen house such as Frette. It appears to be a corporate decision, but one that feels somewhat inconsistent with the standards associated with a Palace hotel. Dinner at Edmond’s was refined and enjoyable, showcasing quality ingredients and careful execution, although pricing is undeniably premium. Breakfast offers a generous selection of fresh, high-quality products. However, on several occasions, buffet items remained empty until guests—including ourselves—requested that they be replenished. Such oversights should be uncommon at this level of hospitality. Valet parking is available but comes at an additional charge of €35 per night, a fee that feels difficult to justify given the already significant nightly room rates. The wellness facilities are among the hotel’s highlights. The indoor and outdoor pools are beautifully designed and invite relaxation after a day in the mountains. The fitness center, while equipped with quality machines, is somewhat modest in size for a Palace property. Spa treatments, although undoubtedly luxurious, are priced at a level that many guests may find excessive. The hotel’s greatest strength is undoubtedly its setting. Surrounded by the Alps, it offers a sophisticated mountain retreat with elegant architecture, warm contemporary interiors, and a luxurious yet understated atmosphere.
