Despite being slightly outside the city centre, the staff were all some of the smiliest, friendliest people and helpful in all aspects from booking trips to finding restaurants. I’d say the true mark of a great hotel is somewhere you feel comfortable and this hit all the bases. If you’re happy to make a short journey into the town every day, I’d highly recommend this hotel. Also, the pool, gym and breakfast buffet are unbelievable. I almost don’t want to add a review to keep it as a hidden gem!"

"Frustrating check-in experience and poor room allocation. We arrived after 16:00, well past the 15:00 check-in time, but were told our room still wasn't ready after a over 10-minute check in process. Forced to walk around to pass the time after a long journey, we returned after 18:00 only to be assigned an accessible room with no view despite booking a courtyard view. We were told it was the only room available. However, after speaking with the receptionist, she managed to find us a ready standard room. It makes no sense why we were made to wait so long in the first place."
