"Grand Hotel Aminta is fantastic. The sea views are perfect, especially from the rooms and terrace. The staff are nice and very helpful. I particularly loved their breakfast — generous, fresh, and beautifully presented. The only downside is the location. The hotel sits on a hill above Sorrento, so it’s not possible to walk into the centre. You’ll need to use their shuttle or take a taxi. The shuttle runs on a fixed schedule, so if you miss one, you have to wait for the next — which can be a bit inconvenient after a long day."

"I stayed at this hotel with friends for 4 days 12 to17 may It cost me £1192 in my room it had ants in the bathroom &round the to they wad there for 2 days the hotel is overpriced for the room that I got was out and needs updating the room they offered was 3 floors up but the lift was small & keeled getting stuck my husband is clostafobic in small lifts so we couldn’t go anywhere else Very poor service not interested in solving the problem No be recommend this hotel to anyone"
