"Very nice place and location excellent. When I first checked in, I was underwhelmed by the lack of help from the girl at reception. I asked her if there were any pumpkin patches locally and she told me to Google it. Another reception lady later gave me a whole list of local activities without even asking. The whip was lovely but the online menu is not the same as the one in the restaurant. There is no cheese board available for example. Parking was tough at times. Other than that the place was very nice and staff were lovely."

The entire hotel is situated on a hilltop, near its own brewery, farm, and bakery. They offer complimentary afternoon tea and cookies every afternoon, and each floor has common areas with puzzles and board games. There are also free movies in the evenings. This time, I booked a loft room on the top floor of the main building. The stairs made it inconvenient to carry large luggage, and the Wi-Fi signal was weak. Maybe I can go back in ten years and stay in the villa area."
