Rio Sierra Riverhouse ★★★

"This is a great location for adventures into Sequoia National Park!! Mars the host is wonderful, and I'm glad we got a chance to meet her. There was a lot of space with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and awesome balcony over the river. The outdoor spaces were amazing with many places to hang out and enjoy the beautiful scenery. One of the best parts of our trip was swimming in the wild River. We were in the park and decided to come back early so we could spend the afternoon swimming in the river. It was truly exhilarating! I didn't realize this was a VRBO style, so was a little surprised. Three Rivers has restaurants and shops, but I was picturing a walkable town. All places in the town are on either side of a busy highway. So, there was no walking to a restaurant - you had to drive"

Comfort Inn & Suites Sequoia Kings Canyon ★★

"The room was small and the facilities were a bit old. The front desk staff were okay, and the breakfast was so-so. Overall, it was rather mediocre and had nothing special. The only advantage was that it was close to a park."

Western Holiday Lodge ★★

"It feels like an Indian franchise store. The environment is good, on the roadside, you can't hear the sound of cars. It rained at night and the air was super good in the morning. It's very close to Sequoia, about 20 minutes away. The hygiene is not good, there are long hairs in the bathtub and blanket. There are no proper restaurants nearby, only small ones."

Lazy J Ranch Motel ★★

"This is a very cozy farm-style inn 🍎🎃 The lawn is lovely and charming! The rooms are quite clean, and there's free coffee. Free parking is available. There's a swimming pool. It's very close to Redwood National Park and Kings Canyon. One thing that really touched me was that this inn is family-run, and there's a booklet in the room that records the story of how the inn has been passed down through generations over the decades (as well as historical news about the various developments in Redwood National Park 🗞️). It really has that deep sense of family history, very warm and rare 📖! Highly recommended! [However, most shops in town close after dark, so you need to go early if you want to buy food.]"

Sequoia Village ★★

"This was one of the worst value-for-money accommodations I've ever stayed at. It cost nearly 2000 RMB per night, and the facilities were comparable to a makeshift shelter in the wilderness. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy, and there wasn't even drinking water in the room. The bathroom was also very old, making the whole stay very uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep well. But there didn't seem to be many other options in the vicinity."
