Résidence Club Mmv l'Altaviva ★★★★

"We stayed at mmv altaviva during Feb half term. I was with my 3 children (18, 16 and 11) and were staying in a 1 bed apartment. What we liked: - comfortable clean modern rooms with well equipped kitchen (microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and fridge / freezer) - quiet and peaceful - great location ski in / out and a couple of mins from main gondola and ski school and from the supermarket - ski rental on site and heated lockers for ski gear - sauna, jacuzzi and steam room - friendly front desk, also courtesy call 1 week in advance to check if we had any questions was a nice touch - dart board, pool table, table football What we didn’t like: - cold swimming pool - having to pay for the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room (€17 pp!) - minimal items given for the 1 week rental (1 toilet roll, 1 food waste bag, 3 dishwater tablets, no kitchen towel to dry dishes) - parking was a big issue for us. They offer paid parking in their underground parking but we left it too late to book which was a big mistake as there is not enough parking at the hotel for everyone when busy and very little other parking in tignes 1800 with just a few free outdoor spaces outside the hotel. We ended up having to park in tignes 2100 which is 15 mins drive away and has a nos of large underground car parks. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying at mmv altaviva though it would have been even better with improvements noted above."
