Before the trip I have told my kids this is a Wednesday Adam’s hotel. With their unique style and decor. We have very much enjoyed our first night on the road. The front staff was so friendly and helpful. She turns on the hot spa so we can relax at the pool and a warm dip. This motel is dated but well looked after. Location is right opposite a huge fresh food market with cafe, fish and chips plus any grocery you can ask for. Kids had fun with the giant moving strawberry statue at the front. My husband enjoyed the motel 10 dollars breakfast deal with great size muffin (full of fillings) and unlimited coffee. Only thing I would comment on is the mattress on soft side.

After running all the way, I finally met the Chinese compatriots. They were warm and hospitable and gave us a lot of help. Under the guidance of the boss, we also bought n95 masks in this small town. I was very happy. I was not used to eating Western food. The family of the boss made it for us Authentic Chinese food, tomato, egg, rice, and home-made lamb soup. The motel accommodation is also very good, clean, hygienic, convenient to go, the town is beautiful, it is recommended to stay

From Canberra to Melbourne, it takes 7 hours, so I booked a motel to rest after passing through Albury and experience this kind of life abroad. I do n’t know because it is National Day in Australia during this time, and summer vacation During this period, we went to the hotel at about 8pm, and it was difficult to find something to eat. Many shops were closed ... Then the hotel had to check in before 7:30. I called in advance and the landlord was fine. Still leave me a room, just leave the key with me. But it ’s really very few people. There are only 2 rooms in the whole hotel, which is quite quiet, but the security is OK, in Australia!

If you're driving between Sydney and Melbourne and want to break up the journey, Albury is probably your best bet. Since I was traveling with my dog, I chose Mantra. On the first night, I was given a pet-friendly studio on the second floor. As you can see in the picture, the room was quite spacious and clean. On my return trip, however, I was on the first floor, and that room was significantly worse than the one upstairs. It had a strange odor and lacked any pet-friendly amenities like dog bowls or waste bags.

The location of the hotel is very close to the Murray River hiking and the Albury Botanical Garden. It can be reached on foot. It is also close to the supermarket, but pay attention to the closing time. The hotel does not provide dental appliances, free water, you need to go to the supermarket to buy it yourself, you need to pay attention. There are good restaurants near the hotel. Walk to Albury Railway Station about 1 km, the distance is flat.

The first impression of the property was great s as it looked good from the outside. However, that impression was dampened with the behavior of the reception staff. No smile, no greeting, no friendly chatter. Nothing making us feel welcome after a long drive. I even had a 3 month old in my arm. She is usually pampered wherever we go. But the reception staff did not even bother, let alone smile. The evening receptionist was also not very friendly. I asked for 2 dental kits and was told there is only 1 and end of conversation. I get they may have gone out of stock. But I feel there is a way to present stuff. Apart from that the stay was good, the rooms and facilities were generally clean, except that I noticed a tiny cockroach in the bar area of the restaurant. Ok for one night stay.

This was a good option for a motel as we wanted to break up our trip with our 2-year-old to drive less. The location was perfect in terms of access from the motorway and getting around on foot once we arrived (nice park on one side, the amenities (restaurants, shops) on the other). The staff (including owners) was really helpful in any respect and the room (while typically simple for a motel) was comfortable. If we were to come to or through Albury again, we would consider the Albury Regent again.

We have a swift and efficient check in by a very friendly lady that patiently explained to us everything we need to know about our car parking arrangement. We booked 2 rooms and both rooms are equally spacious, extremely clean and bed is comfortable, the only problem we had is with the funky smell we noticed when we first entered the room but the smell went away when we left the window opened for a while. Air conditioning in the room is effective on a 38 degree day. We would recommend this hotel.

We do this trip a few times a year and I have already made a mental note where we will be staying next time we need a hotel.

The location was peaceful and scenic, offering a great opportunity to unwind while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. We especially enjoyed spending the evenings outdoors, taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.
