The hotel has a first-class location, right next to the airport bus station, on the small square, and convenient to go everywhere. You can walk to the old town and the museum river.

When booking, I specifically looked for a relatively new hotel. There is a subway downstairs. ** compatriots can go to San Mame Stadium to watch the game in three subway stops. The British Palace Mall is across the road. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town. It is very convenient. The hotel does not have a parking lot. It's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details.
1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off).
2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV.
3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time.
And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT
3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?).
4) We get a fan to cool down.
5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective).
This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating.
P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea)

Good sized room and bathroom, but there was a massive pillar right in the middle of the room which was quite awkward. Had the room at the start of the corridor near the lifts so it was a bit noisy at times. No tea or coffee facilities in room, which feels like a bit of a basic. Went out for breakfast rather than use the hotel facilities as there's plenty of options about.
Only there for 2 nights so didn't seem worth kicking up a fuss about any stuff. OK for overnight but not a long stay from what I saw.FromCAD 143

Hotel location is amazing. Terrace bar on level 7 with views of the Guggenheim was wonderful! Going up to the bar and getting some drinks and snacks was really lovely and the staff at the bar, reception and everywhere in the hotel were always friendly and helpful.
Really enjoyed the stay! Close to great restaurants and cafes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try your best to follow a more Spanish time for lunch and dinner to feel the atmosphere and the culture. The location is very good, I feel that this is a veteran five-star hotel with a strong Basque style design. The suite I stayed in, the room was large, the view was good, and there was a garage in the ground. Maybe the room is not new enough, but it is well maintained. I used to go to Milan and live in this brand hotel, the service is good. It takes about a walk to the old town 15-20 minutes. It is very convenient to go to the city center by bus downstairs. About 2-3 Station distance, there are also food and small bars near the hotel.
🔔 Service: The front desk was very intimate and gave the baby a set of baby showers. The front desk also sent the baby a bear.
🧹 Health: The room is large and clean. Our room is more than 30 square meters.

The hotel is located approximately 17 minutes walk from the river area and the Guggenheim.
In the portal next door there is a GOiko and a burgerking, there are also bars, bakeries and cafes
The staff is very friendly, they have a locker where you can leave your luggage if you need to.
In my case I reserved parking, since parking in the surroundings is complicated and it is a green/blue/red zone, they allowed us to leave the car longer than we had booked at no additional cost... so great!

The room on the fifth floor, attic style, the window could not be opened completely for security reasons, comfortable bed, only one pillow per person (that is the only drawback I can say)
They provide a reusable bottle to be able to refill with cold/hot filtered water that they have on each of the floors, providing free water to all guests

I thought the sauna was included in our stay that’s why I booked the hotel.
When I’ve mentioned it to the staff about not having an additional cost to it when you book online, they told me is part of the spa . This is very confusing as if it was part of the spa why mentioning it and not including it in the spa section .
Spa and sauna are not the same and if it’s a cost to it , that should be mentioned.
Anything else was amazing . Also they don’t have a separate cost to the sauna only ! I just wanted to use the gym and the sauna , no spa though! There was no possibility to book the sauna without the spa.
It’s like 20 euros per acces not per day which I thought it’s a rip off especially when you are already booked with the hotel and you’ve paid for your room! Again staff showed no flexibility , it was either pay for something you won’t use or you don’t get it!
Ended up not booking it because I did not want to use the spa , and I thought it was a lot of money (20 euros) to pay for 15 min use of sauna only.FromCAD 131

The only problem was a plastic card room key with magnetic *****, which had been unmagnetized in my pocket several times with earphones case. Stopped in this hotel for 1 night, breakfast was not taken.
The hotel is conveniently located on foot from the bus station and the bus station, close to the old city. The other attractions are also on foot. The public transport for the city inspection was not used, only – went by metro to the Biscay Bridge (and moved through the river). Metro, by the way, also in 7-10 minutes walk.
The room is small. No noise isolation. When I read about it in reviews, I couldn't even imagine what was so. Every chuck at the neighbors is heard. 1 night can be stayed, but for a longer period I wouldn't recommend.
There is no teapot in the room, but you can ask for a resepshchen. Staff are very kind and kind. WiFi is good.

The old house is remodeled in a very good environment. The rooms are named after each name. Find your own room according to the email. There is a password on the email. Each room is entered by password.
You can go to the ancient city at night, there are many shops and bars downstairs.

Stayed a couple of nights in NYX Hotel Bilbao. The location of the hotel is ideal, with most attractions within easy walking distance. Close to the old part of Bilbao which has plenty of restaurants and bars. Also close to shops and a nice riverside walk to the Guggemheim museum. Can’t rate food as did not use hotel amenities. Overall the hotel had a modern stylish feel to it. Check in and out was speedy and staff were courteous.Rooms are quite small and the glass walled bathroom may not suit everyone’s taste. All in all, we were happy to stay at this hotel for it’s location and overall stylishness.FromCAD 189

Hardware is all fine and staff are friendly, but the ability for them to understand English is harder than I thought. If you need to book a taxi to airport or something crucial in terms of timing, better double check. Also, they got a nice small kitchen with disherwasher and washing machine. They provide all detergents for both. However, they don't have basic salt, pepper and edible oil. Microwave is nice and quick to have.FromCAD 104

Pleasant apartment in a quiet suburb with friendly reception. Nearby is a supermarket, coffee shop and a good bar/restaurant. Transport to the center is also easy with bus 38 (get off at the 1st stop after the complex) or metro.
In addition, the complex is somewhat noisy (contact sounds and slamming doors), the apartment does not work as an apartment, because there are no kitchen utensils. There is also no cleaning and there are soaps etc.
The latter issues do not have to be insurmountable and then the price-quality ratio is good.

Loved this hotel. Staff were very friendly and were very good to help me with a lost phone in a taxi. Rooms are good and had food once at the hotel, which was very nice. It is in a good location and near all business and tourist attractions.FromCAD 175

What an amazing hotel, the staff were most friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the old town makes this a must stay location. The breakfast was spectacular and the rooftop pool and bar were fabulous. Overall an excellent location and will be a repeat stay for me in the future.FromCAD 87
