For €260 a night 💶, the “junior suite” delivers big on comfort — a bed you’ll melt into 🛏️, pillows with personality, and a breakfast omelette 🍳 that could win awards. The staff are genuinely lovely 😊, and the building itself has a historic glass dome that makes you stop and stare.
Not everything hit the mark — the “wellness centre” (a sauna that’s more lukewarm hug than steamy escape 🧖♂️) and toiletries that smell like disappointment. Luxury touches didn’t quite sparkle, yet the space was clean, practical, and restful 😌.

We stayed five nights in the hotel, and from the time we arrived, we enjoyed the most outstanding professional and welcoming hospitality of the hotel staff. To our suprise, most of the staff communicated well in English and were always welcoming, professional, and friendly. The superior studio provided a spectacular view of the Danube River and the majestic Chain Bridge. The view of the city was absolutely magnificent, especially at night time. Everything in the room was of high standard, and having stayed at many hotels around the world, we could say without hesitation that the soundproofing in the room was Gold Standard. For the first time, we were not disturbed by any external noise from the hotel or from traffic noise from outside the hoìtel. This made our stay enjoyable and memorable. The location is fantastic, right opposite the Hungarian Parliament Building, which you can see from the hotel. There's a subway station nearby, making it super convenient to get to Pest. Castle Hill is also right behind the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the rooms are quite spacious. We stayed for three nights and only received one complimentary bottle of water. I guess Budapest, being a tourist city, has higher prices. One day, the supermarket was closed, and I ended up buying a bottle of water for 5 euros at the hotel restaurant.From€101

Booked a room with a view, and it was so worth it! First off, the location is fantastic, right next to Fisherman's Bastion. You can see both Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament building right outside your window. The first rays of morning sun shine directly into the room, perfect for taking photos indoors or heading out downstairs to snap some pics before the crowds arrive. Breakfast was also excellent, with options like fried rice, congee, and soup, and the staff were very attentive and proactive. All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas.
The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.
Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.
Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.
Hence the reason for a lower review score.
Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.From€144

Cleanliness: clean and spotless (not so for my coffee machine but not a big deal as I didn’t use it)
Room: nice room, with a lot of seating area, which is a major plus! There are some unobvious parts which are a bit dated, like the tiles on the shower, but not a major issue
Location: very central, walking distance to most of the attractions, Budapest Opera House is just behind it, while Danube River is just 10 mins away!
Amenities: outstanding! Lounge area on the ground floor offers free coffee and chocolate with snacks 24/7, a heated drying rack in the bathroom for drying your wet clothes, and a few wall hooks for coats when you enter the room!

Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me.
You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor.
Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel.

I opened the quilt at night and found long yellow hair inside the quilt cover. I didn't sleep well all night. My arms were very itchy when I lay on the bed. The hygiene is not good👎

Our recent stay at the Pullman Budapest was largely positive, though with a couple of minor hiccups. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the fantastic service and the hotel's unexpected kindness in upgrading our room.
The room itself was quite stylish and comfortable, featuring a clean, minimalist aesthetic with a large, inviting bed and crisp white linens, as seen in the photo. The artistic wall mural behind the bed added a unique touch of warmth and color to the space. The bathroom, which appears to be integrated into the room's design, was modern and well-appointed with a sleek sink and ample towel storage.
However, our initial experience was marred by a blocked sink in our upgraded room, which, while frustrating, was resolved within two days. Another somewhat unusual incident occurred late one night when we requested a refill for our water bottles; we were asked to bring the bottles down to the reception for refilling, which felt a bit unconventional for a hotel of this caliber.
Despite these minor issues, the Pullman Budapest proved to be a decent hotel, offering good service and comfortable accommodations.From€128

The room is comfortable and quiet, and you can enjoy a good sleep every night. The hotel is in a very good location, on the quiet side. But there is public transportation right outside, and it's a 7-minute walk to the opposite side of the Congress. It's a great place to walk along the river at night.

Stayed 4 nights in the hotel. Meaning I had breakfast for 5 days. It was something looking forward every morning. There were variety of foods and the hot dishes changed everyday.The cooking was good.
It is very convenient in terms of getting a transportation. 2 metro stations in walking distance and trams passing by in front of the hotel.
The famous New York Cafe is in walking distance. You could even stroll to the Danube River bank if you wish to.
