Pros: beach front, easy access to the beach, tranquility around the lounge beach chairs. Friendly staff
Cons: hotel is dated, shower was too small. There were cucarachas coming off the AC vents. Staff came to address it right away, however. There are not elevators and it is difficult to bring luggage to 2nd and 3rd floors. The place was not design for people with mobility issues. Also people are allowed with dogs unleashed. One small dog came after me. When I approach the dog’s owner to ask if he could put his dog on a leash, he became belligerent, disrespectful, and a kind of racist. The hotel staff watched and did nothing. When I ask for the manager to complaint I was told she was on vacation (?) when I ask for whoever was in charge, I was also told that person was also unavailable. It was frustrating and disappointing as that was a safety issue that remained unaddressed.From€69

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral im Ort Cabarete man kann alles gut zu Fuß erreichen, Cafés, Restaurant, Bars und den langen Sandstrand.
Das Hotel hat zwei Pools und ein Whirlpool.
Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und man fühlt sich sehr wohl in der Anlage, es gibt genügend Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme um sich an der Poolanlage zu erholen.
Die Zimmer sind sehr hell und freundlich eingerichtet das Bett ist sehr groß und man hat einen großen Schrank mit Spiegel im Zimmer. Es gibt eine Terrasse oder Balkon pro Zimmer. Im Bad gibt es immer warmes Wasser zum Duschen.From€64

Many of the establishments will not charge you to use their beach chairs if you buy a drink or snack from them. While on the beach, there are vendors in blue shirts that are licensed to give massages and pedicures on the beach.It's a must to have an on beach massage followed by a mani-pedi while drinking a cold beer or pina colada. A location that just can’t be beat is the best way to describe our house. A newly built villa that's located just 30 min from Puerto Plata International Airport within the gated property of Millenium Resort and Spa. Transport to the Villa can be arranged for your arrival and departure. Once there, it is a short 3 min walk(280 steps to be exact) to the beach where the water sports for which Cabarete is known are taking place. Walk another 1/2 km down the beach and you are in the heart of the small town Cabarete where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars to entertain you day and night. You can skip the rental car because almost everything you need is within walking distance to the Villa. Vagamundo Coffee and Waffles for breakfast, Mambo fish tacos for lunch at Gorditos and Yalla for late afternoon tapas and cocktails at the Millenium pool. All of this and more is located with in a very tight radius of the villa. Feeling a little adventurous? Walk a little farther into town to El Callejón for a great selection of local fare. Don’t feel like eating out? La Rosa Supermercado is located across the main road from the Villa. It’s a small, but very effective, locally owned grocery store with all the basics necessities you could ask for. They also carry a decent selection of liquor, beer and wine.The Villa’s location is ideal for wind sports as the primary launch for Playa Cabarete is the same beach access mentioned above from the villa. Cons: hotel is dated, shower was too small. There were cucarachas coming off the AC vents. Staff came to address it right away, however. There are not elevators and it is difficult to bring luggage to 2nd and 3rd floors. The place was not design for people with mobility issues. Also people are allowed with dogs unleashed. One small dog came after me. When I approach the dog’s owner to ask if he could put his dog on a leash, he became belligerent, disrespectful, and a kind of racist. The hotel staff watched and did nothing. When I ask for the manager to complaint I was told she was on vacation (?) when I ask for whoever was in charge, I was also told that person was also unavailable. It was frustrating and disappointing as that was a safety issue that remained unaddressed.From€69
