Caloundra Resorts

We booked this hotel because of the brand, however it was not as good as the one in Brisbane city. The first day when we arrived, happy with the reception service. However, we didn't notice the dust until the second morning under the sun light. Therefore, we requested a cleanup. After we returned from the beach, the cleaning was 'done', but I noticed the desk was not wiped down nor the carpet was vacuumed. I then went outside to ask for cleaning again, and said this room must be dusted off, due to my son's hay fever, and he didn't sneezed a lot last night. They organised another cleaning, but it's like a real 'whatever'. The photos attached were after the second cleaning. I couldn't believe it but didn't want to ruin the holiday, so I decided to take some photos and cleaned for them, as well as for our own good. The experience this time ruined the reputation of Mercure. We will never return here.

We did enjoy our stay despite of not being able to use the pool due to the depth. Room was clean and everything was provided. They have foxtel if you like watching TV or movies. Beautiful water view. Will recommend!

It was unexpectedly better that I anticipated. Very clean room, close to everything. We stayed at the studio and it had everything we needed. Very clean room even had daily service. It had a walk in wardrobe, good bed, some dining equipment and we had a direct entrance to the pool from our little patio. I saw the waterfront appartments and want to stay there next time when in Caloundra. This is found to be me place to stay on the Sunshine Coast. Thank you for raising the bar and providing with a little extra service at the affordable price point it’s really nice to have in Queensland these days.

It was a great getaway with friends. We were there for a anniversary celebration and the fan and aircon were not working in the master room yet it was terribly hot so it was s quite the uncomfortable night.

Close to the Hospital for visiting sick relatives & the food at the pub was awesome 👏🏻

Great little motel - On arrival - Annie greeted me and was great to talk to.The room was very clean - everything worked well -the Shower was great[good pressure and enough hot water.  Easy to find and not far away from a main road - with good amenities all around.  It would have scored a 5 for everything - but it is a bit of a walk to the closest beach.

There is internet outage for the 3 days I stayed. No refill of hair conditioner. The waterpark is really fun and kid love it. Very close to the shopping center and restaurant.

Facilities are 2nd to none swimming pool was beautiful and cleam ,everything was well maintained, we had a studio double room with a balcony great views ,only complaint was beds were a bit soft . The staff were very friendly and helpful

Clean room, bathroom and kitchen clean and tidy, even a section for general/shared use of products. Staff is very friendly.

Random place I must say it’s not a typical pub hotel no one around at check in time had to call reception and wait at the door after calling before to ask how to check in and told to wait until 2. Meanwhile trying to talk over the generators that for someone reason are meant to power this whole complex. Lost power during the night and in the morning. How are you meant to run a hotel or business with inconsistent power source. A hotel that is for people should have power.
