The facilities at the resort were entertaining. The pools were refreshing for the summer heat. My favorite place to eat was the Harbourside Bar & Grill. The location was nice as it was right on the beach and only a few minute shuttle ride to some offsite restaurants/ bars. I would stay again.

Tween Waters is a very nice place to stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.The view from our balcony was spectacular. They have several restaurants on the property with a wide assortment of choices. They were always packed, so I recommend making reservations ahead of time. The foor was good, not great but their drinks were exceptional. The service was OK, a little slow, but the servers were friendly. The beach was across the street and we got many pictures of beautiful sunsets. They have a 2 hour conplimentary use of some kayaks. You need to sign up for them at the little blue shack at the marina. The kayaks need a lot of TLC. I guess that is what to expect from sometning that is free. The pools were beautiful and clean. So were the hot tubs.

The home is beautifully landscaped and comes with a custom 4 seat golf cart for transportation on the island. The home is just steps from a private beach and guests also have access to the club pool and tennis courts for an amazing and peaceful getaway.This home has 3 full bedrooms on the lower level with access to a private screened porch from the King and Queen bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, private bath, bedside charging stations and a 40" Smart TV. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, access to the porch, and a 40" Smart TV.The third bedroom is perfect for children with 2 bunk beds with their own charging stations.On the main living level enjoy an incredible 6 door sliding doors which fold into the walls to maximize the incredible view of the Gulf of Mexico. The living space is set up with a 58" Smart TV with access to YouTube TV, Netflix and other streaming services to watch live TV, movies and your favorite series. The home features fast WiFi throughout.The kitchen is well equipped with reverse osmosis water, a built in commercial Keurig coffee maker (bring your own K cups), a blender, toaster, microwave and stainless steal appliances. Our home is built on stilts and has a backyard full of citrus trees and orchids. Located at located 40 Oster Court, the house a beautiful two-bedroom home with a separate den/office with a bunk bed. It is The house is furnished and equipped as a second home--not a 'rental unit.' All three of the bathrooms are new. Our family loves to cook --the kitchen is a cook's kitchen. We are located on the quiet part of a private community, Sunset Captiva, just a few minutes walk from the pool and beach. We have a small citrus grove behind the house (grapefruit, orange, meyer lemon and key lime trees) and an extensive orchid collection. Several good restaurants are within a two minute walk. The community pool is only a three minute walk away. The beach is just a minute further. There is great boating and fishing. The beach is extraordinary and extends for miles. This is a great vacation home for young families. We have two pak-n-plays, a high chair and baby monitor. We are at the end of a cul de sac- away from the noise on Andy Rosse lane -and the setting is quiet and private. The house is nestled among the native palms, and has a private, wildlife-friendly setting you will love. Beautiful beaches and refreshing pools are a short walk (5 minutes or less) or a couple minutes away by golf cart (included; see details below*). North Captiva is a bridge-less, car-free island situated in between the coastal barrier islands of Captiva and Cayo Costa. Transportation is provided by scheduled water taxis, private charter, or your own boat. The island has over 5 miles of pristine sandy beaches to explore and the southern portion includes over 350 acres of protected state park land. Golf carts, bicycles, and sandy feet are the typical mode of transportation (shoes are optional). Guests of Gumbo Limbo will be registered with both The Island Club at North Captiva and the Safety Harbor Club and will have use of their amenities including their 3 large pools, tennis & pickle ball courts, private beach access and use of sea kayaks and bicycles. Through special arrangement with the host, a boat dock space can be rented for a daily fee at the Safety Harbor Club wharf (boat registration & insurance info will need to be provided for SHC). This beautiful home (sleeps 6 adults and 4 children) is extremely close to the ocean and a Florida sugar sand beach which is often uninhabited except by wading birds, ghost crabs, osprey and snook. This property features direct beach access so you can walk right onto the beach and into the Gulf of Mexico located about 100 steps from our front door. North Captiva Island features some of the most secluded beaches in the continental United States. Many times of the year, your family may be the only ones on the beach.North Captiva Island is only accessible by water taxi and there are no cars on the island. Transportation on the island is by golf cart which is provided with your rental, walking or bicycle. There are no paved roads, only sandy paths winding through tropical vegetation. It is truly a unique setting. Palm trees, gumbo limbo trees and beautiful flowers are everywhere.Our favorite activities are fishing, shelling, swimming and exploring the beach and state land. There are a large number of wading birds, gopher tortoises, raccoons, brown pelicans, osprey, egrets, cormorants, bald eagles, ibis and sanderlings. There are two very nice swimming pools maintained by our island club a short walk or golf cart drive from our house. Kayaks and bicycles are also available at no charge through the island club. Tarpon, sea trout, red fish, snook, and snapper may be caught from the shore. Shelling is a daily activity on the island. North Captiva is often described as the shelling capital of North America.Our house, Perfect Placement, is beautifully appointed and completely remodeled after hurricane Charlie. The kitchen is large and modern with Corian counters, new appliances and gulf views. The house is large enough that 2 families of four can stay comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor: a master bedroom with a gulf view and a guest bedroom with a double bed. There are 2 full baths on the first floor. On the second floor there is a large bedroom with a private porch and an excellent gulf view which could serve as a second master bedroom. There is also a bunk bed room with 2 sets of bunk beds providing sleeping for 4 children. Both bedrooms share a hall bath.Because the house is on the west shore of North Captiva we are often witness to stunning sunsets which can be observed from your bedroom or the back deck. Don't forget your camera to help capture some memories. If you are lucky you may see Dolphin playing in the surf, Tarpon showing past the first breakers and the legendary stoop of the brown pelican fishing. This beautiful home is right on the Florida sugar sand beach, which is often uninhabited except by wading birds, ghost crabs, osprey and snook. This property features direct beach access so you can walk right onto the beach and into the Gulf of Mexico. North Captiva Island features some of the most secluded beaches in the continental United States. Many times of the year, your family may be the only ones on the beach.North Captiva Island is only accessible by water taxi and there are no cars on the island. Transportation on the island is by golf cart which is provided with your rental, walking or bicycle. There are no paved roads, only sandy paths winding through tropical vegetation. It is truly a unique setting. Palm trees, gumbo limbo trees and beautiful flowers are everywhere.Our favorite activities are fishing, shelling, swimming and exploring the beach and state land. There are a large number of wading birds, gopher tortoises, raccoons, brown pelicans, osprey, egrets, cormorants, bald eagles, ibis and sanderlings. There are two very nice swimming pools and hot tub maintained by our island club a short walk or golf cart drive from our house. Kayaks and bicycles are also available at no charge through the island club. Tarpon, sea trout, red fish, snook, and snapper may be caught from the shore. Shelling is a daily activity on the island. North Captiva is often described as the shelling capital of North America.Our house, Beach's Edge, is beautifully appointed and newly updated. The kitchen includes new stainless steel appliances and gulf views. The living room includes new leather couches and flat screen TV. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor: a master bedroom with a gulf view and a guest bedroom with two bunk-beds. There is one full bath on the main floor. Because the house is on the west shore of North Captiva we are often witness to stunning sunsets which can be observed from your bedroom or the back deck. Don't forget your camera to help capture some memories. If you are lucky you may see Dolphin playing in the surf, Tarpon showing past the first breakers and the legendary stoop of the brown pelican fishing. The facilities at the resort were entertaining. The pools were refreshing for the summer heat. My favorite place to eat was the Harbourside Bar & Grill. The location was nice as it was right on the beach and only a few minute shuttle ride to some offsite restaurants/ bars. I would stay again.

You need to sign up for them at the little blue shack at the marina. The kayaks need a lot of TLC. I guess that is what to expect from sometning that is free. The pools were beautiful and clean. So were the hot tubs.

Tween Waters is a very nice place to stay. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.The view from our balcony was spectacular. They have several restaurants on the property with a wide assortment of choices. They were always packed, so I recommend making reservations ahead of time. The foor was good, not great but their drinks were exceptional. The service was OK, a little slow, but the servers were friendly. The beach was across the street and we got many pictures of beautiful sunsets. They have a 2 hour conplimentary use of some kayaks. You need to sign up for them at the little blue shack at the marina. The kayaks need a lot of TLC. I guess that is what to expect from sometning that is free. The pools were beautiful and clean. So were the hot tubs.
