This hotel is super close to Sea World, and both transportation and dining options are incredibly convenient. The environment is also great, with an artistic flair, and it's very clean! They even have robots that deliver takeout, and the front desk staff, Xiao Luo, provided excellent service! It was a great stay, and I'll definitely be back!

The staff on the first floor were proactive in helping me with my luggage and took it to the elevator. When checking in at the 31st-floor reception, Ryan greeted us warmly. I specifically sought him out, and he kindly assigned us a high-floor room on the 48th floor and even offered complimentary breakfast for the children! A big thumbs up for that! 👍 **Room** The website stated 43 square meters, which felt about right, a standard size. The in-room tea was Twinings tea bags, both green and black tea. The fixtures, like the faucets and showerhead, seemed newer than those at the Hyatt in Dongguan. The hairdryer was a Lefein, with strong airflow, a big plus! The shower pressure was excellent, another thumbs up! 👍 The linens were standard, and housekeeping was very prompt; our room was already clean when we returned from breakfast. The twin beds were 1.2 meters wide; though small, they were firm and could be moved together. The only thing I didn't like was the quality of the toothbrushes; I recommend bringing your own if you're particular. The air conditioning was quite noisy. **Food** The dinner buffet was fantastic! The chef team spoke Cantonese, and the hot Cantonese dishes were on point, especially the black char siu – delicious! The stir-fried vegetables were all good, and the boiled beef in chili oil was excellent! You could also get clay pot garlic seafood made fresh on the spot; you pick your ingredients and hand them to the chef to prepare. Sashimi was readily available on platters for self-service without waiting. The grilled beef at the live station was incredibly tender; my child had three servings! There were also grilled squid and other meats, with a short wait of only three or four people. Desserts included Napoleon cake, cheesecake, and durian mille-feuille, all made fresh by the chefs. The individual serving was steamed lobster with glass noodles, and the meat was springy and very fresh! If I had to pick a fault, it would be the lack of freshly squeezed juice. In comparison, breakfast was slightly disappointing. During the May Day holiday, if you arrived at the restaurant a bit late, you had to queue. Also, later on, the freshly squeezed juice dispenser was empty and not refilled. The noodle bar only offered minced meat and green beans as toppings, and there was no good chili sauce. The variety of Chinese hot dishes was limited. The highlight was the freshly made wontons; although they took a while to cook and there was a long queue, they were amazing when I finally got to eat them! The soup was incredibly flavorful! Breakfast was just about filling, but the quality was a bit lacking. **Public Areas** The lobby on the 31st floor offered beautiful sea and mountain views. The gym was outsourced but truly professional and spacious! There was even a 24-hour gym! The swimming pool was smaller than expected, with shallow water, and was an outdoor heated pool. Children's facilities were minimal, almost non-existent. There were parent-child activities, such as handicrafts, which we didn't participate in. After dinner, you could walk to the seaside boardwalk; though crowded and noisy, it was sufficient for a stroll. The hotel was a 10-minute walk from the entrance to Bitongdao on Wutong Mountain, making it convenient for hiking. Staying at the Hyatt in Yantian during the holiday ensures good food and accommodation, allows for hiking, and offers easy access by car or metro to OCT (Overseas Chinese Town) or Dameisha/Xiaomeisha for an enjoyable trip!

The location is great, right by the sea, offering beautiful views at different times of the day. The facilities are excellent, and the soundproofing is superb; once the door is closed, you can't hear any outside noise. The surrounding area is well-equipped with seafood restaurants, cafes, and more. The hotel service is fantastic; they provide eye masks and earplugs in the room. The concierge service is very thoughtful, recommending various restaurants nearby, and they even granted me a late checkout. The local people are very friendly. I was curious about an unripe loquat tree nearby and started taking photos to look it up, and the owner enthusiastically picked some ripe ones for me. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Huaqiangbei Area Shenzhen|3.08km from city center
The hotel's location is great, though the entrance isn't very obvious – it's actually right across from Huaqiangbei Road. You'll see a lot of international guests coming and going, many of whom are clearly young people visiting from abroad for business or travel. The geographical location is excellent, less than a few hundred meters from Huaqiang Station. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby, making it convenient for exploring various parts of Shenzhen. It can't compare to a grand hotel, but it's clean, which is a major plus. Try to avoid lower floors, as you'll experience vibrations from the subway passing by, basically from day to night. I was assigned an end room on the second floor, and the subway vibrations were constant throughout my stay, which definitely affected my sleep.

I stayed for five days and four nights consecutively. The hotel service was quite good, although when I first checked in, there was a strong smell of smoke. It was probably from the previous guest smoking on the balcony. After two more days, the smoke smell dissipated significantly. All the restaurant staff were very enthusiastic, especially Ms. Liu Mingjie, who always greeted us with a smile and took great care of my child who had a foot injury. We had a wonderful five days here.

It's a quiet oasis in a bustling area, with Lixiang Park and Nanshan Study just around the corner. The service was fantastic; I even got a free upgrade to a suite when I arrived in the evening. My room wasn't near the elevator or facing the street, so I had a very restful night.

Although Meisu is a little distance from the subway station, there are beaches/snack stalls along the way, so it's okay. The estate itself feels old, and the swimming pool is deserted, but once you enter the house, you’re in another world; The cleanliness is better than expected, the bed sheets, towels, quilts, sofa and bathtub are also clean and tidy; Customer service contacted us via WeChat, and the Wifi, door password, and how to get to Meisu were all clear. Even nearby attractions are introduced one by one. Although the response is not immediate, you don’t have to wait too long; The facilities are very complete. The bathroom supplies are all there. The refrigerator can freeze (which is good for a normal hotel). There is a giant screen with movies to watch, but VIPs can't watch them. However, you can use Air View, and you can prepare your own movies if necessary. There are two sets of kimonos for everyone to take photos, and the surfaces are very clean. There are also sufficient charging stations in the room, and a charging cable is provided. The bathtub is on the terrace, with disposable bath bags provided. Draw the blinds at night, turn off the terrace lights, and people downstairs won't see you when you stand up. Japanese style, comfortable and beautiful

We had a very good stay at Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel and would definitely come back again. The service throughout the stay was excellent, and the staff really did their best to make us comfortable. A special thanks to the reception team for helping us with a late check-out since our flight was very late at night. That made a huge difference for us and was greatly appreciated. The concierge team was also very helpful with directions, recommendations, transportation, and even helping us with our orders. Communication was easy, and everyone was very professional and welcoming. The location of the hotel is amazing. It is directly connected to a mall, which made everything very convenient. We had easy access to shopping, restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and everything we needed during our stay. One of the highlights for us was the lounge access on the 24th floor. The happy hour was really enjoyable, and we spent a lot of time there relaxing, admiring the beautiful city view, and enjoying the atmosphere. It became one of our favorite parts of the hotel experience. The breakfast was also very cozy and pleasant because it was not overcrowded. We could actually relax, take our time eating, and enjoy the view peacefully, which made the mornings feel very comfortable. The hotel itself is very large and spacious. While the rooms are a little older in style, they are very comfortable and generously sized, which is actually something we appreciated. Sometimes older hotels offer much more space and comfort compared to newer properties. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. The combination of the excellent service, spacious rooms, lounge access, and perfect location made this a very enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again on our next trip to Shenzhen.

Facilities: While not new, you can tell the facilities were top-notch in their day, especially the thick walls which provide excellent soundproofing. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise. My child crawled around and played, and we didn't spot any overlooked dirty corners. We also visited the kids' play area. Although it's just one room, it was very clean – I didn't find a single hair in the ball pit. Service: The service was also great. Lily, the restaurant manager, and Lena from the lobby were both excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Additionally, breakfast was good; it wasn't crowded, and the variety and taste of the dishes were impressive. The noodle chef was also very kind. The Chinese restaurant doesn't use pre-made meals; the quality was high, and the flavors were a delightful surprise!

The front desk efficiently handled my check-in with politeness, and the concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage. Room service was prompt and meticulous. The turndown service even included a special bookmark, which really showed attention to detail. The staff were responsive and enthusiastic, making me feel very welcome. As a hotel that's been open for over thirty years, the facilities do show their age a bit. The bathroom design felt dated, and some room types didn't have a separate shower and bath, meaning I had to shower in the tub, which wasn't the most efficient use of space. The soundproofing was decent; I occasionally heard minor noises from the hallway, but it didn't disrupt my rest overall.

The room was spacious and the environment was good, with a partial sea view from the balcony. The hotel's decor was quite whimsical, and the 'Whale Baby' (鲸宝) was adorable. The buffet breakfast was a definite highlight! There was a huge variety of delicious options, both Chinese and Western. The shuttle to the beach was also quite convenient. However, for some reason, the private beach was incredibly, incredibly messy the day I went. Picture 3 was just a casual shot, but it was like that everywhere, with even pesticide spray bottles on the sand being thrown into the sea by kids as toys. It was heartbreaking to see such a beautiful view with so much trash. The thought of playing in the sea with so much rubbish was also quite upsetting. The public beach next door didn't have as much trash (though I did see cigarette butts and such). I'd recommend investing more in managing the cleanliness of the private beach.

As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

The best part was direct access to the terminal, which saved me a lot of hassle for my morning flight. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, especially the steamed chicken feet. However, when I went back for more, the chef at the station said they were out and was very grumpy about it. Pros - Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre. - Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far). - Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes. - Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too. - Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do. After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services. - Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly. - Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi. Cons The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms: 1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms. 2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking. 3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time. It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard. I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself. Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

It's true that all hotels in Shenzhen, including the Four Seasons, are primarily business hotels, giving off a strong business vibe rather than a resort feel. The location is incredibly convenient, especially its proximity to Futian Station, making it super cost-effective for same-day return trips to Hong Kong for meetings. The service at the Four Seasons is, as expected, impeccable – appropriately warm and meticulous. Cleanliness is a given. There were only two minor discomforts: first, we were initially given a corner room, and my wife had nightmares staying there at night. When we asked to switch, they didn't clearly inform her that the new room would incur an upgrade fee. They quietly deducted it from my deposit, which felt a bit uncomfortable. They could have been upfront about it instead of doing it discreetly. BTW, the Zhuo Yue Xuan at the Four Seasons is genuinely delicious, but remember to ask for less white wine in the char siu.

I don’t usually write long reviews, but the St. Regis Shenzhen really impressed me. Let’s start with the service – because wow. From the moment I walked in, the reception girls were absolutely perfect. Warm, professional, and so attentive without being overbearing. They remembered little details, made check-in seamless, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay special. Honestly, they set the tone for the whole trip. The room? Incredible. Spacious, elegant, super comfortable bed, and every little amenity you could think of. But the real showstopper was the view – floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Shenzhen skyline. I must have just stood there for ten minutes taking it all in. Breakfast was delicious too – great mix of Western and local options, everything fresh, and the service at breakfast was just as polished as the front desk. In the bustling city of Shenzhen, every trip feels like a small adventure. This time, I chose the Pengnian Wanli Hotel, and to my surprise, it turned out to be a wonderfully warm and comfortable experience. Stepping into the hotel lobby, a subtle fragrance greeted me, like a peaceful oasis in the city. Mina, one of the staff members, had a natural and genuine smile, not the usual formal politeness. Like an old friend, she softly asked if I was tired and if I'd like some hot tea. As she processed my check-in, she thoughtfully informed me of the breakfast times and the gym's location. At that moment, the city no longer felt so rushed. The room was on a high floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the Shenzhen skyline. The sunlight streamed in, making the entire room bright and inviting. After dropping my luggage, the first thing I noticed was the makeup mirror on the vanity. It wasn't large, but the lighting was soft, and the angle was just right, making even someone like me, who rarely wears makeup, want to sit down and take a closer look. Next to it was a small magnifying mirror – a thoughtful touch in the details. In the bathroom, the smart toilet sat quietly in the corner. Sitting on it for the first time, the warm seat was a pleasant surprise, like a gentle embrace. The wash function and warm air dryer – every button was so considerate. I thought, this must be one of life's little joys – it doesn't need to be extravagant, just perfectly right. The room's amenities were also comprehensive. The bedding was so soft it made me want to linger in bed, and the TV, audio system, and coffee machine were all perfectly arranged. I brewed a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa by the window, watching the endless stream of cars below, yet my mind felt surprisingly calm. In the evening, I visited the gym. The equipment was new, the space was spacious, and the night view outside was mesmerizing. After a short run on the treadmill, I felt all the fatigue of the day being carried away with my sweat. When checking out the next day, the front desk asked again, ”Did you sleep well last night?” I smiled and nodded, thinking to myself that this hotel truly offers great value for money. Not because it's luxurious, but because it handles every detail with warmth, making guests feel comfortable and at home. If you're in Shenzhen and looking for a place where you can relax both your body and mind, Pengnian Wanli is definitely worth a try.

Good but with some space for improvement. Overall stay was good. The location at the sea shore next to the modern art museum, sea promenade and many restaurants of the Sea World; stunning view from the room; good buffet breakfast. Still some areas like the rooftop bar look sad and are half closed; the kids room is tiny. The bathroom at the outdoor pool was dirty and smelly so I had to bring my kid to the indoor bathroom on the 1st floor - and that one was relatively clean but smelled of smoke and had the cigarette floating in the wc… To end the review with the positive thing worth mentioning is the earlier check in and the later check out possibility provided by the hotel

The room was a great value, and my child loved it! The hotel has plenty of facilities and activities suitable for children under 8. They even called before and after our stay, which was a really nice touch. The biggest surprise was getting to pet a cute little rabbit while checking in! Movie Time Fantasy Cinema: They have a great selection of movies. Cleanliness: Good Facilities: I wish the signs for the beach entrance/exit were clearer. Service: All the staff we encountered were very friendly.

The hotel was really quiet and the room was super clean. We also took the kids to the Eco-Sports Commune, which was a very comfortable place to play with some amusement rides. Afterwards, we went to the Ice and Snow World, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also an aquarium right at the entrance with lots of things to do. Plus, there's a new shopping center with plenty of food options just across the street, making it very convenient. The shuttle bus service nearby is also great for getting around. Highly recommend!

Traveling to Shenzhen with my family, we stayed in the family room at Futian Huanggang Intercity Hotel, Shenzhen, and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for families with children. The family room was incredibly spacious and well-designed, offering separate sleeping areas for both adults and children, ensuring everyone had their own space and privacy. Our whole family felt relaxed and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, free from any strange odors, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The lighting was excellent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of trains passing by at night, creating a wonderful ambiance. The bedding featured high-end Sealy mattresses, which were both soft and supportive, and there was a choice of pillows, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep for both adults and children. The smart home controls throughout the room were a hit with the kids – they loved using voice commands to turn lights on and off, open and close curtains, and adjust the air conditioning. It added so much fun and joy to our stay. The bathroom was well-appointed with a separate shower and plenty of hot water with good pressure. After a day of sightseeing, a hot shower was just what we needed to wash away travel fatigue. The hotel even provided disposable bath bags, which was a nice touch for cleanliness and peace of mind. The quality toiletries and soft, skin-friendly bathrobes made the experience comparable to a high-end luxury hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by Metro Line 7, making it super convenient for getting around and catching trains. The service was warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and any requests were promptly addressed. The staff were all polite and friendly.

I booked this hotel last minute, and it completely exceeded all my expectations! It's about a kilometer from Dongmen Old Street and Luohu MixC, a mere ten-minute walk to both major shopping districts, offering endless options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The cleanliness was exceptionally meticulous; the room was spotless, with no dust or neglected corners, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation with no water stains and fresh, circulating air. The service was warm and thoughtful; the front desk proactively offered complimentary bottled water, and any items requested for the room were delivered immediately. The staff were polite and gentle. The room facilities were new and plentiful, featuring smart home control for everything, a giant screen for movies, a high-pressure shower, and a self-service laundry room with drying capabilities. The mattress was soft and supportive for the back, and the soundproofing was excellent, completely isolating us from the noise of the commercial area. I highly recommend it for travel accommodation. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight, approximately one kilometer from Dongmen Old Street and Luohu MixC. It offers full coverage of shopping districts, making it a one-stop shop for all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs, and its proximity to Grand Theater Metro Station makes getting around very convenient. The environment and hygiene were reassuring; cleaning left no neglected corners, the toilet and washbasin were sparkling clean, and the carpet had no dust or odors. The service was attentive and thoughtful; the front desk was staffed 24 hours, online calls for room service were answered promptly, and small issues were addressed by staff immediately upon arrival. The room facilities were brand new, with smart voice control for lights and curtains, a spacious shower with stable water pressure, and ample storage space with tables and chairs. The public areas were clean and tidy, the lounge area was quiet, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's rest free from external disturbances. Overall, the value for money is exceptional.

I'd recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Shenzhen. It's the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Xiao Jing, the guest service ambassador, was incredibly helpful – she assisted me with sending a package. She's truly amazing! I hope to see her again on my next visit. The service throughout my stay was thoughtful and thorough, truly living up to a five-star standard.
