A lot of rooms in the hotel are actually in the basement, and you can't see anything at all. The window is just a decoration, and the basement wall is right next to the window. The highest floor, the 4th floor, is called a luxury room, but because the roof of the third floor extends out 2 meters and tilts up, you can only see a little sky from the window, and you can't see the courtyard at all. It's very strange, but there is no reminder when booking a room. The front desk helps to order a car, which is at least 7 or 8 times more expensive than calling a car yourself. I stayed at this hotel twice; in between I went to Macchu Pichu and left the baggage at the hotel.
Location wise - it’s very central with a PeruRail office next door albeit the other ones are not too far.
Reception is 24hr and there is a nice courtyard with a restaurant as well as a common area with a kitchen at the back.
I stayed in the Teepee tent on both occasions; first time the rate was more affordable at around gbp40/night. In July, the night gets cold. But the tent does have additional blankets and a heater. This worked except on the last night as it seems it stopped in middle of the night. Without the heater, the room was quite cold. The common bathroom is at the back; the showers are ok and you get enough privacy. I noticed the hot water does take a while to come through. I left the baggage in the storage - no issues. staffs were super friendly and helpful. stayed there 2 separate nights. one before machu picchu and the other after i return to cusco from machu picchu. rooms were reasonably spacious and well maintained. hot water shower was good. bed was comfy. breakfast was a in my opinion pretty decent and value for money. it starts as early as 5am so u can catch your morning tours after breakfast. they help u store luggage as you embark on your MP trip and return later so u don’t have to book extra night just to keep your luggage in the hotel if u are staying in aguas calientes for a night (u likely cannot bring ur large suitcases up the peru/inca rail). location wise it’s certainly walkable to the plaza. however i can hear noises from outside. i believe it’s the same with most hotels too in anycase.FromCAD 108

Me and my husband had an amazing stay here during our trip in Cusco. The hotel is located at the heart of Cusco city and just a few minutes walk to the plaza, along with nearby shops and restaurants. It is run by a lovely family (Jose, Johann, and Miriam) who will greet you very warmly.
We had to get up incredibly early (4am!) for a tour and Jose prepared a packed breakfast for us. I told my husband it feels as if our parents prepared the breakfast because it was very thoughtful and we never got hungry throughout the trip :)
Johan speaks really good english so you will face no issue trying to get some tips around the city.

The hotel is very beautiful and stylish, with many ancient furniture and equipment. It is 10 minutes' walk from the Arma Square.
At the same time, we got a room without a window, and it dramatically complicated the issue with ventilation. Cusco is at a height of 3500, and oxygen there is no gardens. It was necessary to sleep with an open entrance door, which is not very comfortable.
One morning there was a mess with breakfast. There were many companies coming at once, and the kitchen didn't work, it took 20 minutes to wait for the egg, and the tables with the food weren't updated. But I think it was a temporary phenomenon, so breakfast was good.

This hotel is indeed highly recommended for its scenic views and quite near to the Plaza Mayor de Armas. Highlight the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, as well as the friendly and professional staff. The natural lighting and panoramic city and mountain views are definitely standout features! The room I got has a scenic view! Super worth the price, I’m telling you, you should get one with the scenic view if you stay here. This is a relatively old hotel in Cusco. When I checked in, the clerk said that he would upgrade me to a larger room for free, and there was a bell boy in the hotel to help me carry my luggage. The hotel's service is good. During breakfast, there was a dedicated person who fried a double egg for me and provided me with other fruits and bread. When I left the hotel and wanted to go to the long-distance bus station, the waiter was willing to call a taxi for me. They were willing to help me carry my luggage to the car, but the location of the hotel has a slope on one side. If I want to go to the laundry and eat pizza at the restaurant by myself, I have to walk on a slope.FromCAD 90

The staff in this place are the most considerate, friendly, and helpful people I have ever came across in a hotel while travelling. The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. I had a light meal when I first arrived and it was very good. The only issue (I was reluctant to bring it up to the staff because they were so nice) was the shower having warm water and not hot water.FromCAD 240

I went in June(their winter) and the night is 2 celcius. the heater didnt work that much its freezing cold. However I got a junior suite with this fancy Jacuzzi!! They are far from everything but the cars from Indrive app is cheap so it didn't that matter.FromCAD 56

We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Hotel in Cusco. The staff were very friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special mention to Wilma, who went the extra mile to accommodate our request to change to a room with a queen bed instead of two standard beds—her helpfulness made a big difference.
The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable with fresh bedding, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cusco.FromCAD 147

I arrived in the hotel found that the bath tub doesn’t have stopper so asked them to provide stopper but was given a day later and there is no hand wash provided. No soap provided on my last day.
Also the hotel staff asked me to pay additional $55.00 as they don’t seem to have record of my arrival to Peru and I have come illegally to Peru.. I have to argue about it and finally they found my arrival details.
Breakfast is fantastic and cleanliness is good as well.. Apart from minor issues it is good..near to all amenities .FromCAD 62
