The hotel's location is great, right next to the commercial district, just across the bridge. The service was very warm and attentive; even though I don't speak English, the front desk patiently explained everything. For breakfast, there were at least three different dining areas with a wide variety of cuisines, though it leaned more towards Western styles. It was a very heartwarming trip, and I'll definitely consider this hotel again next time! The wagyu beef downstairs was excellent, and the price was, well, top-notch too, haha.

[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience] HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city. [Getting There] We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day. [Arrival and Check-In] The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks. [The Suite] We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property. [The Top-Floor Onsen] Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day. [Areas for Improvement] Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush is far too small and takes ages to use. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

I had a pleasant stay at remm Roppongi. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout our visit. We arrived earlier than check-in time, and they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the lobby, which was very convenient. The lobby area also has a nice selection of amenities that you can take as needed—it's a thoughtful touch. The room itself was clean and tidy, though quite compact, which is typical for Tokyo. There was a simple massage chair in the room, which was fun to try out after a long day of walking. The view from the window was simple. The location, however, is excellent—just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, making it super easy to get around. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay in Roppongi.

Walkable distance to Tokyo Station character street, really convenient to start shopping right away. The service was great until checkout, we called the front desk asking for late checkout arrangements and the staff agreed to delay the checkout time to 11:30am. When we got down to the reception, there was only one staff and another couple were checking out so we just waited patiently at the back. They took quite some time and some more customers were queuing behind us for check out. When it came to our turn, the female staff immediately changed her smile to poker face and accused us for being late as the time was already 11:40am even though we clearly arrived earlier than that. She wanted to charge us extra but we insisted. Her attitude was very rude and made us feel super uncomfortable.

MYSTAYS Haneda is an excellent choice for an overnight layover at Haneda Airport! ✨ They offer a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, which is super convenient if you have an early morning flight. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and they even have a self-service laundry room, which is a huge plus for long-term travelers. It's also close to a train station with a convenience store right next door. The staff were friendly, and the front desk is open 24 hours. Definitely the best value for money for a transit stay. The room was bigger than we expected but the location of the hotel was far from the nearest station in both directions (Ueno station and Iriya station). If you came back from your trip via the Hibiya line at Iriya station you would pass Gindaco (Tagoyaki shop) and have it for dinner. The Ueno station used the Iriya exit to walk back to the hotel. Breakfast was plain but considering at this price it's excepted for me. This is my second time with this hotel, they upgraded to a deluxe twin room for me. You will be impressed by the size and decorating especially the bath tub that is not a standard bathroom. You can lay down to relax your body after a long walk on the day.

The staff were very friendly and efficient, the breakfast buffet was incredible, the rooftop lounge was a nice bonus, the twin room was spacious, and the location was great - it was a very quiet area with a beautiful (and free) garden just across the street, a picturesque river right beside it, and a short walk to the train station that was one stop away from a station that can connect you to the rest of Tokyo.

I was impolitely treated by the lobby staff during check out. Everything during the stay was great, until we brought our luggage to the lobby and I was looking for the express checkout box. Failing to found one, I asked one of the staffs (shown in photo) politely about the express checkout boxes, he swiftly pushed me away and ask my to queue up at the check out with a very inpatient attitude. His colleague and his manager apologised for him while he was hiding at the back office after I complained. This is not any customer should have been treated, especially with this level of hospitality and pricing. Won’t be return to this hotel again and I strongly suggest the hotel to refine their training for their staffs.

I chose this hotel because of its location (10-15 min walk from nearest train station) and the onsen. There is a 7-11 conveniently located right across the hotel which is perfect for a quick breakfast / supper. The hotel’s onsen operates from 6AM-10AM and 3PM-2AM. It was so nice to take a dip in the warm onsen and enjoy the Tokyo skyline after a full day of walking. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel in Shinjuku area that offers some peace amidst the hustle and bustle!

After clearing the Customs and Baggage Claim areas on the second floor (Arrival Lobby) of Haneda Airport Termianl 3, walk out into the public arrivals greeting area within the terminal. Continue to walk in front. Look out for the sign ”HANEDA AIRPORT GARDEN”, which is behind the signs ”Bus”, ”Parking”; ”Chartered Bus” and another sign ”Parking”. Turn towards the right at the sign ”HANEDA AIRPORT GARDEN”, which is an indoor sheltered passageway, and walk for two minutes along the bridge to reach the Information Counter after passing by the transportation sign to the Ariake Garden. Turn left towards the sign ”Hotel Villa Fontaine”. Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand and its sister hotel Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier are located on the fourth level and Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand is on the right after coming out of the lift. Check-in at the machine next to the reception counter. The room allocated to me has the airport aircraft parking view and views of the airport terminal and Royal Park Hotel Haneda. Do not expect to see the aircraft in full moving along the runway from the room. To see aircraft landing and taking off and Tokyo Monorail moving along the tracks clearly, as I am the hotel guest, I pay 2500 Yen to go up to the onsen and spa, which is accessible by going up the lift from the sixth floor to the twelvth floor. Complimentary breakfast on the first floor restaurant is aplenty and nutritious. Brown rice is served. Families will enjoy the breakfast. It is of five minutes walk to the Airport Limousine Bus Stop Number 2 via the Haneda Airport Garden for the continuing ride to stops in the Odaiba / Ariake area including Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel and Ariake Garden. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to stay in Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand, which is better than staying in Royal Park Hotel Haneda. If I had to chance to fly to Haneda again and arrive in the airport midnight, I will stay in this hotel again.

I've stayed at several luxury/5 star hotels in Tokyo and Four Seasons at Marunouchi is a very rare hotel that impressed me with their service. 10/10 would recommend this to friends visiting Tokyo for a holiday. I filled up the arrival details form before my flight. I was arriving in Tokyo on a red-eyed flight and was planning to reach the hotel at about 10am to deposit my luggage and walk around before I could check in. But when I was at the airport at 8am I received an email informing me that my room was ready. I wondered if it really was as this is the first time I ever received this personalised notification. But true enough when I arrived I was brought to the lobby sofa to have a seat and was offered a glass of wine. Thereafter a staff brought me to my room to do my check in in the room itself which I thought was nice since I wouldn't need to stand at the counter. The staff also showed me around the room during check in which also included some mandarin oranges and a handwritten card which I appreciate. I was also introduced to the hotel's various message apps with the staff which I used to enquire about breakfast, spa and taxis - I found this really convenient, other hotels do not have this service. The staff who checked me in also offered to add to my personalized profile about my usual request for extra bathroom towels. He also asked whether he could recommend any itineraries for me which I appreciate. The staff at the lobby secured taxis for me to nearby attractions and also my dinner restaurant at the exact timing I needed - the taxi was already waiting when I arrived downstairs, I really appreciated that. The hotel room was excellent - very modern furnishings and clean room with everything you'd need. The breakfast was good quality though I wished the buffet had more options, it was quite limited considering the price. There were main dishes that you could add but they were at an extra charge. The hotel was also at a very good location in Ginza near the shopping district and also Tokyo station. But too bad the views were nothing special. Overall the best hotel in terms of service in Tokyo. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. I wish I had gotten the names of the staff to compliment them.

The service was excellent, and for a Japanese hotel, the room was quite spacious. They even added an extra bed for my child, who slept very comfortably! For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western options. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit of a walk to the subway, but exploring the Japanese neighborhood in the morning was actually quite pleasant. Taxis are also readily available.

I really hope you take a look, I think it might be helpful to you. (Good morning, good afternoon, good evening to you all) (Note: The pictures mainly feature food) This is my third stay at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo (the first 2 times were booked by my mom). (I just turned 15). The hotel changes bedding daily, cleans meticulously, and the service is warm and friendly. The breakfast restaurant offers many options 🤔. Also, there's a Yakiniku restaurant (Jojoen) very close behind the hotel, which is rarely crowded. I've eaten there many times (sometimes even on weekend evenings) and never had to wait for a table. (Was I just lucky?) The pictures I've included are all from the hotel. I haven't included Jojoen, but it's definitely worth a try! P8 shows the signature dish (beef) from the hotel's buffet dinner. The beef is juicy and flavorful, tender but not mushy, and the sauce is the perfect touch. (I thought the potatoes were delicious, and by the way, is that white blob garlic?! It's horseradish!) P4 and P5 show two different main dishes from the Japanese-style breakfast (you can choose porridge instead of rice). (Sometimes the ingredients change; I once encountered a time when there was no salmon, but the taste was still excellent) 🤔. Oh, and the pancakes are absolutely amazing! So good I forgot to take pictures (maybe not that good?), but the aroma is incredible!!!! (Note: Most restaurants in Japan will ask you if you have any food allergies. Don't panic if you're asked; just answer truthfully. ”Allergy” is the common word used for this.) The hotel staff's English proficiency is really good! Seriously! Seiyoken + Din Tai Fung + Ichiran ads passing by... You can try Seiyoken. It's very famous and has been around for a long time. I've tried their full meals (both the grill and the cafe, emmm... the grill's main dishes were quite impressive, as for the cafe, I thought it was decent. Their signature beef stew, though the meat chunks are large, is really soft, flavorful, and fragrant! The other dishes were also quite good. Oh, and definitely get their Duck Farm Pudding to go before you leave! It's fantastic!!!!! The caramel is a bit bitter, which I personally don't mind). The Imperial Hotel's omurice (omelet rice) is good. Room service is quite special! You can do almost everything in the room with just one tablet, such as ordering room service, checking breakfast queue status, closing curtains, and turning off lights. That's about it. My opinion on Kamon is that it's worth trying once. (Most of the above-mentioned Imperial Hotel restaurants are more budget-friendly if you choose lunch options). To the hotel, I'd say you've done a great job. There's nothing to pick apart. Many of the services are very detailed. Negative reviews do exist, but I honestly didn't notice any... (that's on me). Also, a good travel mood is very important. This is just my review. Wishing you a pleasant journey! The hotel staff is very helpful! They will solve problems for you. Last time, my mom thought the indoor lighting wasn't perfect? She wanted to try brighter lights to see if it would be better and also wanted an additional space to work directly by the window. After informing the hotel of the request, they sent what seemed like a room service table? With a desk lamp, and the brightness was just right! (It was really a bother to them, I'm sure). (Please don't get upset with me if any of the above wording seems inappropriate...) That's generally all. I'm too lazy to write anything else, and I guess no one will read on anyway, it's quite long... Haha 🤔

By far the nicest room out of the three we stayed at on this trip. Cozy but spacious with everything you need inside. My only gripe is the check in process. You cannot check in one second before 2 pm. I understand a lot of hotels do this but not all of them and it creates chaos all at once. We were directed to machines to self check in and despite the fact I filled out all the information in advance which generated a QR code, when I used that code at the kiosk, half of the information had to be reentered. Even though our papers scanned on the machines, they still had to take them to enter info manually and at the end, we ended up being redirected to a check in counter with a human. Frustrating check in process took 25 mins. That aside the staff were very helpful with our bags and the area surrounding the hotel is great.

I've stayed at the Hilton Tokyo Bay and the Hilton Osaka Umeda before, both of which were good experiences. However, the Odaiba location this time left the deepest impression. It's directly connected to the Odaiba Station on the Yurikamome Line, and with Aqua City and DiverCity Tokyo Plaza nearby, dining and shopping are incredibly convenient. From the hotel, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Rainbow Bridge, and the views are stunning both day and night.

I visited Tokyo with my 88-year-old father. The hotel’s location is arguably the absolute best, making it incredibly convenient to visit Tokyo’s major attractions. The hotel facilities were also highly satisfying. First and foremost, the amenities in the guest room were excellent, and the thoughtful accessibility considerations for the elderly or infirm gave us great peace of mind. For instance, the provision of a bath chair with a backrest was very impressive. The hygiene and meticulous housekeeping were of the highest standard. Furthermore, the non-slip mat provided in the bathroom clearly reflected a deep consideration for the guests' specific needs. All of this, of course, is a testament to the staff’s proactive service and attentive care. If there was one minor disappointment, I wish a wider variety of pillows had been available in the room. In this regard, I felt it fell slightly short of meeting guests' diverse preferences. Additionally, as a helpful suggestion for safety, designing bathroom doors to open outward to facilitate emergency access in case of an accident inside is a fundamental design principle for luxury hotels. While preventing accidents altogether is ideal, being fully prepared for emergencies is what sets the highest standard of excellence. On another note, despite the hotel being located within a major railway station, there was absolutely no noise. The soundproofing was truly remarkable. However, you must ensure you have ample time to enjoy it; it can require a significant amount of time and patience before the food is served in front of you. Overall, our experience was exceptionally satisfying and wonderful. With its rich historical background and narrative, the hotel offered a deeply engaging and far from boring stay.

Even though it had been renovated, there was still an unpleasant smell from the sink drain in the bathroom.

The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable, right next to Tokyo Station. You don't even need to go above ground; there's a dedicated hotel elevator in the Otemachi exit underground, which is incredibly convenient. However, if you're transferring to other subway lines, expect about an 8-minute walk for most of them. Also, a heads-up: the front desk is on the 7th floor, but there's a hotel sign on the ground floor for taxi drop-offs. Since the hotel is right by Tokyo Station, you have easy access to all sorts of food, drinks, and shopping, which is why I didn't bother with the hotel breakfast. I could sleep in every day and try different local delicacies. Even the FamilyMart convenience store had amazing food options. It's an older hotel that was renovated last year, but the facilities are complete, clean, and comfortable. What I particularly liked was the shower setup; unlike some hotels where you shower inside the tub, here they have a separate shower space next to the tub. This design makes the bathroom feel quite spacious, even if the room itself is on the smaller side. I've seen this kind of bathroom design in other Japanese hotels too, so I wonder if it's a common feature in local accommodations. The front desk staff spoke good English, and I was very satisfied with their luggage storage and early check-in services. Plus, you need your room card to operate the elevators, which adds to the security. I was out and about from morning till night, so I didn't get a chance to experience the restaurant or bar, but overall, the value for money is high. An absolutely perfect hotel stay! The service from the front desk, restaurant, concierge, and even post-stay was excellent. They offer a free shuttle bus to Disneyland (which also serves as a tram stop), which is very convenient! The hotel doesn't provide any beverages in the rooms, but there are two very convenient convenience stores downstairs (within the hotel itself)! The pool wasn't open due to the season. If you need to go to the airport (Narita & Haneda) from the hotel, make sure to book at least one day in advance! I'll definitely be back next time!

By far the nicest room out of the three we stayed at on this trip. Cozy but spacious with everything you need inside. My only gripe is the check in process. You cannot check in one second before 2 pm. I understand a lot of hotels do this but not all of them and it creates chaos all at once. We were directed to machines to self check in and despite the fact I filled out all the information in advance which generated a QR code, when I used that code at the kiosk, half of the information had to be reentered. Even though our papers scanned on the machines, they still had to take them to enter info manually and at the end, we ended up being redirected to a check in counter with a human. Frustrating check in process took 25 mins. That aside the staff were very helpful with our bags and the area surrounding the hotel is great.

The location is very strategic, with the JR station just a short walk away, making it easy to get around and explore Yokohama and also convenient to access Haneda airport. Location is 15 mins to Shinjuku station but along the way quite a lots to see. I’m enjoy the price offered for this location and distance. Laundry a bit expensive with 600 yen for 1kg. The location is next to night clubs too (you can choose to walk to Shinjuku station with other street) and worst is the hotel signboard is not obvious as it is small and in front of the hotel, , comparing to others to put up big and tall at the junction. You will easily miss it as I have walked back 3 times and finally found it by looking for white building
