Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The bell boy who helped me with bringing my luggages to the room was very friendly and helpful, spoke good English too. Though not all staff spoke good English, they tried their best to assist me. Their service standard is consistent throughout. The room and the toilet was spacious and clean. There were 4 restuarants that I could go to for breakfast. The Garden Lounge which served buffet breakfast has a wide selection of food and drink. Most importantly the food was yummy! I enjoyed looking at the beautiful garden with waterfall view as I was seated by the window during breakfast.

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.31km from city center
Though small, this hotel has everything you need. Its Ginza location is incredibly convenient, perfect for shopping or quickly getting to Narita Airport via the expressway. What truly impressed me is how many features are packed into such a compact space. They have a coin-operated laundry and a large public bath. The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly. A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!

Pros: the duty manager Mai who is fluent in English and demonstrated outstanding attentiveness and a genuine dedication to hospitality. She took the time to truly understand my specific needs and thoughtfully arranged the perfect room for me. To be quite honest, this level of personalized care and attention to detail is something rarely encountered in the hospitality industry nowadays. I was both deeply impressed and delightfully surprised by this experience. Cons: regarding the housekeeping service during my stay, While I appreciate that the bedsheets were changed diligently, the overall cleanliness and attention to detail have been highly disappointing. Instead of clearing the room, the housekeeper consistently left trash behind after cleaning. Day1 The housekeeper actually stuffed a piece of paper waste into the room card slot. Day 2 The trash remained unclean. Day 3 The housekeeper even left their own dirty cleaning towel right next to the bathroom sink. (see the picture) As a guest, I expected a high standard of hygiene and professionalism, but these incidents have made my stay quite uncomfortable.

Roppongi Tokyo|3.16km from city center
It was my first time staying in the Roppongi area, and the location is extremely convenient. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from the station, making it easy to get around Tokyo. The neighborhood is lively and well-connected, which is perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Check-in is self-service, which was quick and efficient. Amenities such as toiletries are available on the lobby floor for guests to pick up, and there is also a vending machine on the floor for added convenience. One downside was the cleanliness. I found a hair on the bed and a fruit seed on the floor, which was a bit disappointing and could definitely be improved. The highlight of the stay was the massage chair inside the room — it was absolutely perfect after a long day of shopping and walking around Tokyo. It really made a difference in helping me relax and unwind. On the second floor, there is a hotel restaurant as well as a well-known BBQ restaurant. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try them during this trip, but it’s great to have dining options so close by. Overall, a very convenient stay in a prime location, with the massage chair being a standout feature.

Excellent hotel with great proximity to Tokyo Station and Nihombashi Station, and is walkable to Ginza. Ueno/Asakusa Tokyo|5.43km from city center
This hotel was quite good overall. It is about a 10-minute walk to Iriya Gate at Ueno Station, which made it convenient for getting around Tokyo. One of the best things about this hotel is its location near a large open playground, only about 450 meters away. It was perfect for our kids to play and burn off some energy after a day of sightseeing. There are also halal food options nearby. A halal restaurant near Asakusa is just over 1 km away and can easily be reached on foot. In fact, Asakusa itself is within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area without relying too much on public transport. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The location was family-friendly, convenient, and suitable for travelers looking for easy access to playgrounds, public transportation, and halal food options.

Ueno/Asakusa/Senju/Ryogoku Tokyo|3.85km from city center
The hotel is very close to Ryogoku Station, just a 2-minute walk. After exiting the station and walking towards the sumo hall, the hotel is right across the street. The surroundings are lovely, and the terrace is perfect for a drink while enjoying the night view. There's a FamilyMart convenience store down a small street to the left after exiting the subway, and a 7-Eleven to the right. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants on the small street next to the subway station – I recommend the ramen shop. The room is quite spacious for Tokyo standards; you can lay out two 28-inch suitcases without feeling cramped. The hotel breakfast is also good; you order one set and then help yourself to the rest from the buffet. The downside is the room's cleanliness. When I opened the coffee machine, the previous guest's capsule was still inside and hadn't been cleaned, leaving it full of stains, which was disgusting. The coffee cups even had lipstick marks on them. The hygiene situation is a real no-go!

This hotel is the most convenient if you're catching an early flight from the airport, and it was my first time staying in an ANA-themed room. This room is actually a byproduct of the building's corner; it's a bit too large for a standard room but not quite big enough for two small rooms, so they just made it into this themed room. Inside, there's a wall showcasing ANA's history and even business class seats, haha! But they're not powered, so you can't adjust them; they're just there for show. Staying at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, which blends a century-old Japanese garden with lavish decor, was an experience of a unique 'urban oasis' environment, exceptional service, and rich culture. During this trip, I experienced two different room types at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba: a regular Executive Room and a Premier Rainbow Bridge side room. The Executive room allowed for a separate, convenient check-in area. The afternoon tea and dinner were quite simple but sufficient to tie me over. I later found out that the Fujiya peach soda in the lounge is a popular, hard-to-find drink. I really enjoyed it and recommend everyone try it. Regarding the size, facilities, and view of the rooms, the Rainbow Bridge side is significantly better. PPikapikalaoshiI was on the twelfth floor, with the window facing Ginza. There wasn't much to see, just other buildings. Everything else about the hotel has already been covered by other reviews, so I won't repeat it. I did like the little stool in the bathroom; it was very stable for sitting down to do makeup and blow-dry my hair. At night, I could hear the trains. It was the JR line, rattling past every few minutes, and the bed would actually shake. Later, I realized these were the 3 rounds of earthquakes we experienced over 2 days. The JR line only stopped from 1 AM to 4 AM, and those few hours were quiet. The rest of the time, it was constant noise. If you're sensitive to noise, you'll definitely need earplugs. The room wasn't soundproof. I could clearly hear someone next door yelling at their child – they were foreigners, and I couldn't understand what they were saying. The pillows were too soft. My head sank right to the bottom as soon as I lay down, and I had to fluff them up every time I turned over. On the bright side, room service could be ordered a day in advance. I tried the Japanese style breakfast. The buffet on the seventeenth floor always had a long line, so I skipped that crowd and had them deliver it to my room instead, which was much more convenient.

We stayed more than a week in the hotel, and everything was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast very good and the range of food was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar In the hotel was also very good and enjoyable. The hotel location is super convenient with several subway stations around, the imperial palace and garden not far, we walked by foot.

not the best location, though its quite near to ningyocho station. breakfast was AMAZING! super japanese style, i look forward to it everyday. room size definitely on the smaller side, but its ok. water heater and pressure works amazing. unfortunately no water dispenser as tap water supposed to be drinkable. housekeeping is once every 2 days. amenities take what you need. would come back to stay just for the breakfast.

Although the room was a bit small, it was very clean. Toyoko Inn has been a well-established brand for many years, always located conveniently in the city center, not far from various attractions. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and they even offer free breakfast in the morning. Absolutely great value for money!

Great location, but everything else is pretty mediocre. You have to check out and check back in every day, even for consecutive stays – I saw the front desk trying to explain this to a bewildered foreigner. The room doors are incredibly loud when opening and closing. Seriously, it's the 21st century, why are we still using keys? No electronic locks? Overall, very average. On the plus side, there's an Afuri ramen right next door, which is pretty good and refreshing.

The location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's surrounded by wholesale streets full of affordable clothing, as well as many small restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores. Usually, it's very quiet, but this time there was a large construction site next door that was quite noisy, even late at night and on weekends. The environment is decent and relatively clean; there's no waiting for the toilet or shower. Unfortunately, the shower room had a rather strong odor. The service was very professional.

I was traveling solo and chose this hotel because it offered airport shuttle service, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. As a Chinese traveler, I found the room facilities to be very comprehensive, and the price was incredibly reasonable. The shuttle buses to the airport, JR station, and Aeon Mall were all excellent. The drivers were very friendly; if you asked them anything while they were parked, they would answer patiently. If you're only staying one night, you could go to the JR station on the first day, as there are many fun and delicious places there. On the second morning, you could go to Aeon Mall, then return to pick up your luggage and head to your new hotel. You'd arrive around 3 PM, just in time to check in, haha. This bus seems to be a loop, which is very convenient. If I come to Japan again, I would definitely choose this place.

The hotel proactively asked for our estimated arrival time. Although the front desk was unattended when we arrived, there was a phone and a messaging app account available for immediate contact. The service lady was very kind and explained everything in detail. She also helped us with calling a taxi ❤️. There was also a clear information sheet on the table in the room. We were a group of three, and the space was very comfortable, equipped with a microwave, a small kitchen, and a washing machine. Just be careful when using the rocking chair in the living room to avoid losing your balance. The dining area was a bit dimly lit, but otherwise, everything was great 👍

Very helpful staff, they will do their best to answer queries even if they are not fluent in english. The daily cleaning comes in the form of changing the towels daily and providing fresh amenities, however they apparently do not conduct daily housekeeping(?), was told to leave my own trash outside the room daily for clearance and self-collection of trashbags from the concierge, so the rules regarding that are kinda blurry. Hope they can be clearer moving forward Good location, only a <10min walk from ikebukuro station. Some prior reviews may complain about the road noise at night, which admittedly can be heard quite clearly from the rooms, but nothing a pair of earplugs won’t fix. Overall comfortable accommodations (and spacious) and convenient location.
