The overall feeling in the small and medium-sized German city is not bad, the environment is quiet, there is a Dortmund Memorial Hall and Dortmund Football Club main stadium nearby, and it is a minute's drive from the station and downtown 7-8. Due to environmental protection, the hotel's free personal hygiene products are relatively limited. What is more unexpected is that the two bottles of bubble water at the room bar are also charged. Perfect location to visit the Christmas Market. Online check in possibility is convenient but only if the machine to give out the key card works properly. We had to go to the receptionist after errors on the screen so it did not save us time. There was no water cooker in the room but this was solved by the reception. Be careful though when pouring it tends to leak heavily and I got boiling water on my leg. In the room above us were children running around and screaming which made the experience less enjoyable but this is not something the hotel can be held responsible for and is lack of supervision by the parents.From$67

Overall, the service staff is still very enthusiastic, but there will always be a general accommodation feeling, next time I will basically not consider living here. The price is also very poor, breakfast and dinner are very expensive.
1) First of all, the room facilities are very simple, old, the furniture is very simple, the shower conditions are very poor, the room is small, and the living is very depressed.
2) The hotel has no elevator, very old stairs, two large boxes are moving, I suspect life. The carpet is dirty, and the corridor needs to be manually turned on the lights. I feel very backward.

Everything was great except the fact that you are supposed to tell 2 days ahead of your arrival that you will check-in. That's unusual when you booked your hotel in advance. Eventually I could reach them a day before my arrival and it was no problem to check-in ahead of time for an ”early-check in” fee.From$73

Can I say that this hotel is simply too good! First of all, the location is great. Turn left from the train station and walk for 6-10 minutes. The red sign is easy to find. As soon as you come in, you can feel all kinds of avant-garde lights, and the screen is also beautiful. The bathroom is downstairs, and it is free without a room card. Then there are all kinds of free tea and coffee next to the front desk that you can take away. The front desk service is also good. A reminder that if you check in early, you will be charged 30 euros. Luggage storage is also very convenient. We felt really comfortable; everyone was super nice, from the concierge to the service staff and reception. It was about a 5-8 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. The breakfast was delicious; they kept refilling it, even right before closing time. The hotel's dog, Flora, did the best job :-) The room was very nice and clean!!! Beautiful courtyard and delicious gins at the bar. This is now our favorite hotel in Dortmund. We highly recommend it.From$55

A Home from home room, and the first ”hotel” I've stayed in with a dishwasher in the room. Room was clean and well presented. It was a strange mix, of a self catering unit and a conventional hotel room. Decor was modern and the bathroom was one of the best I've seen and as large as the rest of the room. Only downside was the shower drain was partially blocked so excess water built up on the floor and turned the room into a swimming pool. Reported it to reception whom arranged maintenance to attend to it.From$90

The check-in process took a long time, whether it was because the waiter was slow or because the guests' requests were complicated. It would have been smoother if I had registered the app and scanned my passport in advance, but it was a pain when several groups of people gathered at the entrance. The room was good for the price.

Perfect hotel! The room was spotless and very welcoming. Staff were friendly especially reception. They have accommodated our special requests as we were travelling with child with Autism. The balcony doors are lockable and they have shutters which is additional safety feature travelling with curious children. Beds were very comfortable and room quite large. Will definitely book again in future.

The location is excellent. It's right across from a pedestrian street, so finding places to eat is incredibly convenient. It's also just a short walk from the main train station. Plus, with the subway station directly opposite, getting anywhere is a breeze.
