She also has many old objects at home, old-fashioned water bottles, electric fans, a very good experience. Landlord service: enthusiasm! Especially good communication, this trip brought the elderly, a lot of requirements, the hotel lady is satisfied. The dishes are all good. The young lady at the hotel went to the vegetable market to buy them. She tried her best to buy them with us. I am very satisfied with this stay! Thanks to the landlord sister, I also provided a lot of convenience. If I come back next time, I will stay here again.

The century-old Huizhou old house, the courtyard full of flowers, the lobby, rooms, terraces, and restaurant windows are full of pictures, and the scenery that comes to your face is not inferior to the scenic spots. The coffee shop run by male owner Armin offers Austrian pizza, German pork knuckles and various Western snacks. Chef Sister Zhou specializes in Anhui cuisine, and you can enjoy Chinese and Western delicacies without leaving the store. Joan, the beautiful and thoughtful hostess, takes care of everything by herself, and also manages to create a comfortable, warm, energetic and quality atmosphere. As for the treasure of the store, the eccentric angel Alina, she is known to people in a radius of 50 kilometers or more, so I won’t go into details.

|76.47km from city centerApartment hotel, just on the edge of Taiping Lake, the scenery has nothing to say, the room is good, the central air conditioner is not heating at present, the room feels a bit wet and cold. Hot water is not too strong, the temperature is low! There is an oversized balcony with a great location for viewing! The front desk lady is very enthusiastic. I asked about the routes of the attractions one by one, reminding me that I have a shortcut and can run for more than an hour, but I can't use the Gaode map to navigate, it's too warm. Arrive late, forget to take photos of the room, put a few photos on the balcony for your reference!

North High Speed Railway Station/ Xi Xi Nan Ancient Villages

|13.1km from city centerThe accommodation has a free shuttle to/from the station, definitely a plus! It's only a 10 minute walk, but 10 minutes with heavy luggage is something you could miss. It’s a bit inconvenient that you have to call them to actually book the shuttle, because I don’t speak Mandarin and they don’t speak English, so a call would not be possible, but maybe that’s something that Trip could improve on. When I checked out, the lady told me (through a translation app) that she could drop me off at the station, which I was very happy about.
When I checked in, I got a room upgrade as well. I was alone so I didn’t really need two beds, but the the huge room was very nice after all those bunk beds in hostels! They also offer a carpooling service to the ticket office/entrance of Huangshan for a good price! Just tell them the night before that you’d like to go to Huangshan and they will arrange a shuttle for you (mine was at 7 am in the morning and I just had to message them when I wanted to go back to the hotel in the evening).
They can offer sightseeing tips, they can recommend you something to eat. Just ask and they will help you. Sometimes it was just a bit hard to communicate, the woman uses a translation app which works just fine, but the man doesn’t, he tries to explain everything in Mandarin by using gestures, writing it down in Mandarin … but then it’s obviously not easy to understand each other. That aside, they’re both so sweet and helpful. I would stay there again, if I ever come back!
Side note, Trip does not give you the correct address of the hotel (in English). Whichever map app I used, it would send me to an open space in the street of the hotel. The hotel is actually located just a bit further next to a (very good!) restaurant, but just ask someone in the street and they will bring you to the reception of the hotel, if you can’t find it. 😉

The experience was very good during the two-day stay in Jinyuxuan. This Huizhou ancient house is embedded in the decoration of the combination of Chinese and Western, which is simple and atmospheric, enough to give people a refreshing feeling.
The boss wife is very cute, very enthusiastic, and a vibrant, capable handsome guy and daughter, who helps us transfer our luggage, and they give people meticulous care.
His family has a roof terrace, the commanding heights of the village, overlooking the entire ancient village, you can also watch the sunrise and sunset.
Next time I come to Nanping, I will choose here.
