          My husband and I (Diamond HH members) recently stayed here for two nights in order to visit Discovery Park of America; it was convenient for that purpose (although I understand that Union City will soon have its own Hampton). This facility had a nice location, near restaurants and stores, yet in a quiet setting. The hotel employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was very roomy—a studio suite with wet bar, desk, and a sofabed. The breakfast here was typical of Hamptons. We used their laundry facilities; they have only 1 washer and 1 dryer, but fortunately we had sufficient free time to do our 2 loads. A few negatives: The a/c unit in our suite was very loud, even on the low fan setting; it was hard to sleep over it. Also, we had no TV access in our suite both our nights there, due to the hotel’s cable having been knocked out in a recent storm. This was just stated to us at check-in, without really much of an apology. (Receiving a reduction in our nightly rate or having some free points awarded would have been nice to offset that inconvenience.) Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this Hampton.
