It's conveniently located just one JR stop (10 minutes) from Kinosaki Onsen, yet few Chinese tourists venture here. You'll occasionally spot some European and American tourists on the streets, along the beach, or at the hotel. The hotel service is excellent, with a shuttle bus to and from Takeno Station. The hotel also has its own onsen bath, where you can relax and listen to the waves. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are outstanding, especially the all-crab dinner – the incredibly fresh and delicious Kazumi crab is irresistible and incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend staying at the Oku Kinosaki Seaside Hotel when visiting Takeno.

The sound insulation is poor, please keep your voice down. Since the first night I arrived was windy and rainy, and the curtain for blocking the sun is made of bamboo, it kept hitting on the window all night long.
There is no elevators and the stairs is very steep, be careful if you bringing many luggages.
Although the servers do not understand English, they are very friendly and willing to help! Overall, I enjoyed a lot while the staying. Thank you!

Expect the staff to introduce you the amenities of the ryokan such as the free first-come -first-serve private onsen (there are a total of 4, but recommend the one named Hana because it's the newest and the nicest). The room itself is tiny but comfortable. There is no shower in the room, so would have to take the shower at the onsen or at the ryokan's own onsen. The room package came with kaiseki (we had the snow crab one) and it was delicious with pretty looking food. The blanket was thick and comfortable, perfect for the cold weather. There was not much view from our room.

Our triple rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a good breakfast and dinner. The second floor opposite is the No. 1 Haizhong Court in the town, which is worth eating. The dinner provided by the hotel is mainly meat-based, including the entrance to the horse but the horse is a delicious and rich day. The town is small, people are less beautiful, and people are lingering. The only regret is that when we go, the cable car is closed. It will not open until June, and it will not be able to ascend. The hotel also has a bathrobe for free. The little brother at the front desk is also very cute. I really love it too!

The shop is always old inside, and it is surprising that there is a lack of USB plugs in this era. The dinner for two nights is ordinary, with a few crab legs (not fresh enough), and the sashimi fish meat is actually ribbed, but the sashimi restaurant at the corner of the street is flat and delicious! The room is full of meat smell when eating ta tami in the treasure room, and the smell of meat is also everywhere when sleeping. I also found that Japan, especially here, also employs many foreign workers. My sister said that she has been here for 10 months from Vietnam, and she is full of smiles. There is still room for improvement.

The hotel was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early. Our room was very clean, the staff were attentive, and we could tell they wanted us to have a nice stay. The location was perfect - set back on a quiet street but right in the middle of all the onsens and shopping. We opted for the crab dinner, and it was an absolute feast. We ate for hours and still couldn't finish everything. They asked if we wanted to keep it for breakfast (which, of course, we did), so they served it in the morning along with the breakfast they planned. It was wonderful. They have a small onsen in the building, which was nice because the three of us could enjoy one bath together before going to the gender-separated onsens in town. I highly recommend staying here for a lovely and authentic Japanese experience.

We stayed for two nights in a quadruple room facing the river, huge size and comfortable beds. Night was quiet and dont hear any foot steps though it is a building erected on old structure. Breakfast is typical Japanese ryokan style breakfast of excellent presentation and quality. Recommended for couples with no children and nit suitable for elderly or disabled, need to climb up 3 storeys if stayingnin the 3rd flood. |12.39km from city centerUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.

The receptionist at the front desk printed out the order information early, gave a warm reception, and introduced the situation of the town and the location of the fireworks that day. The room is a traditional Japanese room, and children like it very much. The room is large and has a private bathroom. The time for one stay and two meals is also set at the front desk. When the time comes, the food is well prepared, rich and the service is attentive. Unfortunately, I missed the time for the hotel's hot spring that day. I didn't have time to take a dip the next day, so I had to go next time. It's actually better to stay in town for two nights, it's very quiet.

|9km from city centerOur favourite booking throughout our entire Japan trip! This inn is a family business so you can imagine how hospitable the entire family was to us this 2D1N. Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. ＜3

The hotel is located just a few meters from the main street of the village. At the exit, there is the possibility of moving and storeing the baggage to the tourist office near the station (for just 300¥/bagage).
Excellent facilities, with six complete traditional departments and very careful, as you can see in the photos. They have three small private thermal bathrooms inside the Ryokan itself and a living room with private dining rooms (a kavaki-style dinner and breakfast, with seasonal products and high quality proximity).
The hotel was very friendly and very helpful.
They provide yukatas, comfortable clothes, pass to the various public bathrooms and everything necessary to enjoy them.

The Japanese food for breakfast was very interesting. The waiter spoke Chinese and she taught us how to cook parent-child soup. Being vegetarian, the hotel can help us prepare vegetarian meals. The waiter taught me to wear kimono, send socks, and choose a suit and kimono for free. It rained that night, and the hotel provided free umbrellas and rain boots, which was very thoughtful. The hotel manager's English is very good, easy to communicate, and can store luggage. This is a very quiet and comfortable Japanese-style hotel that has given us many memories!

The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling.

|9.13km from city centerIt was a great experience. The boss was very enthusiastic and helped us take photos. There was also an old lady who helped us put on yukata. There are two hot springs in the store, one of which is open-air and very private. You can lock the door after entering so that no strangers will come in and take a bath. We chose the in-store breakfast, which included porridge, rice and side dishes, which was very light and delicious.

You have to pay for shuttle bus back to Kinosaki station even though you're hotel guest.
Hotel price is too high if compare with facilities of hotel. Dinner charge is included in hotel option but you cannot eat King crab , you have to pay more if you need.
