The downside is that the air conditioning is not cold, the lighting is not bright enough, and the WiFi is really weak 😤.
Other than that, everything is fine — there are convenient power outlets available.

The staff were incredibly helpful, attentive, and always willing to assist with any needs during last few days floor incident. The kindness of hotel by granted 50% extend stay and provide lunch and dinner for us is truly kind and warm, and I was impressed by how well they handled updates and communicated important information about the floor . Their support during the situation on the floor was especially commendable—they responded quickly, remained calm, and ensured guests felt safe and well-taken-care-of.

Everything are good except the water temperature was not stable and hard to control. I booked 5 rooms, two rooms water heater was not functioning and one room aircond was not functioning properly. The room feel like only have fan on but not aircond even I turn the temperature to 10°C.

I had an overall wonderful stay at this hotel, tucked away in a pleasant, convenient location. It’s within easy walking distance to Lee Garden, a charming little night market that serves delicious street food until midnight. The neighborhood feels safe even late at night — aside from the occasional biker pimp offering “ladies.” They aren’t aggressive, though, and leave immediately when declined.
One curious incident stood out during my stay: I returned to find my belongings oddly rearranged. My luggage had been moved from a corner to the bedside, and my charger was unplugged and tossed inside the bag. Management kindly checked the CCTV upok request and claimed that no one had entered the room while I was away. Strangely, nothing was missing. Perhaps it was just my imagination… or maybe something a bit supernatural. Either way, it felt harmless, but I’d still recommend keeping your valuables locked or with you. This happened only once over several nights.
Service throughout was all right, and the staff were warm. Room service is thorough. However, a few practical issues are worth noting: some rooms have unconnectable Wi-Fi or air-conditioning that can’t be adjusted (I learned this after switching between three rooms). Another minor frustration was the hotel’s policy of issuing only two room card, which makes it tricky to keep the room cool when you’re out whilst still having two traveller accessibility to the room.
Despite these quirks, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

I'd recommend bringing your own travel adapter and hairdryer. The soundproofing is a bit poor; I was woken up by cleaning noises from next door or upstairs in the mornings. I have a good stay here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Can converse using good english. The parking space is huge. Location wise is very strategic, as is it easy to get around. The hotel also provided free shuttle to go to anywhere within 5km radius. For sure will choose this hotel if im planning to go to hatyai again.

That girl angry to my husband just because my husband ask want to keep his bag there because he early checkout and will go out for lunch and will come back to wait van to pickup him. I also a hotelier and I know that not supposed to be happen when you treat your guest like that. You can answer nicely right? We stayed in Clover for a week and I can't give less than 5/5 to the place. Their workers are the most empathic people I met in Thai service industry. During the stay, we had some personal issues (needed to print some documents, ordered uncooked food by accident) and a small issue with the heater, and everyone helped us with a smile and even went above and beyond their duties.
We liked Clover's location as well. It's not close to the center and it's quite. There's a 7-11, a few restaurants nearby, and also a big Big C Extra 15 minutes away by walk.
As a small feeback, we would prefer if WIFI wasn't limited by 3 devices and didn't require retyping the password every time we connected. It was 2 of us but we had more than 4 devices with us which needed the Internet and it wasn't very convenient. Also, internet wasn't as stable as I'd expect in Thailand (the country with 500 Mbps in cafes and 5G in phones) and I suspect they use DSL connection... which is a bit outdated for current speeds.

I stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range.
The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier.
Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat.
As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out.
Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice.

The hotel was absolutely the best ⭐️ It was clean and spacious. The location memang terbaik because it is near to the diana complex, have lots of parking space and most importantly it is free from flood (the water was only able to pass through the entrance a bit). The hotel also was able to generate electricity eventhough during our stay lots of buildings was blackout because of the flood. When we arrived, we had to wait for 40 mins to get our room checked in which was supposed to be 3pm local time, when we checked out, we passed the down payment 300 baht receipt to the receptionist and she was impatiently asked me to sign the receipt before returning the down payment. The room was spacious, though the hotel itself felt a bit dated. The front desk service was excellent; they allowed me to check in early for just 300 THB. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right downstairs, and if you turn left upon exiting the hotel, you'll find a highly authentic fish noodle stall. Location is close to airport with small swimming pool and gym. No shopping facility near by but a 7-11 convenience store just 10 minutes walk away. Room is clean and spacious. A sofa for relaxing and room has smart tv for my choice of programmes. Our room a little warm due to afternoon sun. Comfortable big bed which support my bad back well !! Helpful staff as i need iron and iron board to prepare my outfit. Housekeeping team sent them right away!!
