"Stay was what you'd expect from a Fairfield. EXCEPT for the $10/night parking fee. There is plenty of empty space in the area that parking is not constrained (e.g., like in a city) so charging for parking is quite absurd. In fact, no other hotel in the area charges for parking so it isn't a town thing. I recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express down the street, comparable value but no parking fee. It is prominently posed in the lobby, and it is on your booking as it would be at a "city" property. But it feels a absolutely absurd in my mind because no one would expect that you'd pay for parking in the middle of wide open area. It feels like you're being fee'd to death. If they want $10/night more, just build it into the price like everyone else!"
"Even though you are in the middle of nowhere, this Fairfield Marriot provides excellent customer service. It needs a few updates in furniture but it is very clean, and the staff treats you like family. I highly recommended. Best spot to sleep in before heading to Joshua Tree Park"
"American breakfast is OK, free parking, there is a small business district opposite, the overall feeling is very good, there is a swimming pool, free coffee and buffet ice, and a small gym!"

"The location is perfect, convenient to Joshua Tree National Park and other area attractions. Parking was plentiful with easy access to and from the main road. The exterior is clean and inviting, as is the lobby. The service at check in couldn't have been better. Occupancy was low so the hotel was so quiet. It was quite peaceful. The room was in good working order with only a few blemishes. The bed was comfortable and the silence made it easy to sleep soundfully. I especially appreciated the Keurig coffeemaker, microwave and nice-sized refrigerator, and wall-mounted bath amenities. My favorite thing was the pool. It was so warm it reminded me of the thermally-heated pool at a hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. It was actually about the same temperature as the "hot tub," and the jets in the spa worked well. Knowing I could dip into the heated pools after dark, at the end of a long day hiking, was the thing I will remember most about this hotel."
"Very standard Holiday Inn Ecpress. It was extremely crowded and the flying man at the front desk was so competent, helpful and calm. Kudos to him (the evening of Dec 30). We were shocked to hear about a national food shortage at breakfast, and that being the reason for no hot food.. other than that, we had a good experience."
"Carpet had stains, headboards were worn out. The wall was very thin. People next to our room got in their room late, wake me up. I could hear their voice, taking shower... The breakfast was pretty good, they provided orange, yogurt which I liked. They also provided hot breakfast like sausage and eggs. It's a good location to visit Joshua tree national park."

"We stayed here the end of March, beginning of April on Room 11. It was a nice relaxing stay. They called it a junior suite (kitchen, queen bed & dresser, couch & coffee table, dining table & chairs, TV, bathroom w/shower no tub) We enjoyed our four days here close to the Park entrance. The room was nice, large and clean. Staff were all friendly. Our room had a covered porch. We enjoyed the shade, but the dogs enjoyed lying out in the sun. Two outdoor chairs were provided and a grill. They provide onsite parking, both covered and non-covered parking (first come). Would definitely stay here again."
"We were arriving from San Diego so around 8:30 PM. Because of COVID, there can only be one party to check inside the small front office. The woman walked us to our room and helped us find a good parking spot and recommended some restaurants that were opened at this time. The room itself was fine. The bed was comfy for two. The curtains are not blackout by any means. The bathroom is small but works. I noticed a stray hair on my white towels. In the morning I tried to re-heat some food but the microwave was not working even though it was plugged in. We did not test the tv nor the heater/AC. There was a dining table which was nice to eat our take out on. The fridge was spacious. My partner laughed at the desk because the chair was so beat up looking. He's 6'1" and when he sat down, it sank. Good thing we weren't there to do work but just to get a good night's sleep before a long day of exploring Joshua Tree."
"We stayed here for one night at the end of March. The hotel looks quaint from the outside, the garden is lovingly decorated and the rooms are actually all like small bungalows. Our room had a full kitchen built in, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Fortunately, the hotel is off the main road, so quiet nights and restful sleep are guaranteed. The bed was very good, the pillows had a wonderful consistency and most importantly were not too thick. We felt really comfortable here."

"If you go to Joshua Tree National Park, this is an ideal location, 10 minutes drive from the park entrance. The store is on the side of the road, and the blue light box store is very conspicuous. The rooms are medium in size, standard and economical, with enough parking, breakfast is pure American, you can have enough, and you should feel good if you like Western taste. Open-air hot springs with hot water (hot water?), small swimming pool, laundry room, six US dollars with washing and drying, good dryer, dry pants without wrinkles, although the room has an iron, do not use hot, Can wear it directly... The surrounding area is desert, sparsely populated, but it looks quiet and safe. In the middle of the night, young and beautiful girls are on duty. There are Pizza Hut for a few hundred meters drive, and there is a Burger King in the opposite side. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation is not good. I walked upstairs and sounded louder downstairs. Economic travel, the price is still good. Above, for reference..."
"Very good, the little girl at the front desk is very beautiful, we have a washing machine and a clothes dryer, but we need to prepare a little more than 25 cents of coins, and the front desk can also change it for you."
"Express hotel standard, room is large, breakfast, good location, play the economic choice of Joshua Tree National Park, it is recommended to stay..."

"The room was nice and clean! It is very close to Joshua Tree Park and it is convenient to eat nearby! 80 km from Ole. About 80 kilometers from the hotel there is a section of highway 66 here in Amboy (a lot of 66 signs on the ground). It is highly recommended to go to the KEYS VIEW park to see the night view and the stars after 9pm (windy, wear more clothes!), This is the best memory of my entire journey! Hope to be helpful to future friends!"
"Had breakfast, it was good overall, check-in and check-out were smooth, there is free parking, there are supermarkets and gas stations nearby, the facilities in the room are relatively complete, and the price is very good"

"I stayed here last Friday night, July 12. I went to the office but it was closed due to remodeling and to go next door to The Rodeway Inn. No problem, just was hot!! Check-in was a breeze and had an upstairs room. Nice and quiet. Slept pretty good. Bed was comfy and ac worked fine as it was about 115 F outside. Refrigerator and coffee maker in the room which was nice!! Only problem I had was the TV remote didn't work so I manually got the TV on. Reported that in the morning and they were going to get new batteries for the remote right away. Enjoyed my stay. Staff were very nice. Breakfast looked ok, I just had some coffee, a banana and a muffin to go as I had to get going home. Would stay again."
"The only pro was that it was on the cheaper side and the mattress was ok. A lot of cons though. The initial counter girl was rude but the one at check out was great. The room was clean but the sheets were stained and the bathroom was filthy. There were hairs everywhere. Stuck to the wall, door, shower curtain, tub walls. Towels were horribly stained. The shower valve didn't work so you had to turn it and pray hot water came out at some point but if you happened to hit after that ice cold water again. We couldn't use the AC unit because the blower fan sounding like it had Transformers fighting in it. The pillows felt like they were cut up square pieces of couch cushion stuffed in a bag. I know this hotel was cheap but it wasn't cheap enough for all of this."
"The hotel is on the roadside, very easy to find, very close to the restaurant, there are many options. The room facilities are relatively old, but very clean. The front desk service American girl is very nice and very warm and thoughtful, breakfast is good"
