Location was good, and rare to find an aparthotel. Kitchenette served its purpose. Room is slightly weird however -- we got the 3 bedroom apartment, and two of the three had no door, and opens directly into the entrance hallway. Will have to ensure you are decently close to the other guests! Gym was mid, very small in the basement. No daily cleaning, lift were slow.

The hotel was booked temporarily. The location is very good. It is also very convenient to get there from the airport. The bus goes directly to the hotel. The entrance is very beautiful. It is next to the river and the environment is beautiful! The lady at the front desk helped us change the room with a balcony. It is not small, but there is a step on the way from the entrance to the inside. I always get stuck when walking... I am very satisfied with it overall, but it is a bit expensive after adding consumption tax The waiters are very good! There is a Chinese sister staff who is very good! She answered all our questions very warmly and thoughtfully~ ! ! I will consider this hotel again in the future! ! !

The hotel is old, the room is big but the bed is right at the door, the bathroom is big and there is a balcony. The front desk service is good, and the city tax in Amsterdam is almost the highest in the EU. Convenient transportation, it takes no more than 30 minutes to walk from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel, and more than 10 minutes by bus. It is a 10-minute walk from the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum.

This time the overall accommodation experience is very wrong! The location of the hotel is first class and the facilities are complete. The most praiseworthy system can use WhatsApp to contact the service team, and the reply is very fast and very convenient. There are a few points that I want to mention after staying in~Friends: The room is deeply cleaned every 7 days. If you need to change towels or clean up the garbage, remember to take the initiative. In addition, if you live in the kitchen to cook, you must have a psychological preparation for the ventilation system is not too good, and the smell will be more difficult to disperse after cooking. It is recommended to cook the soup and eat lightly. Finally, be sure to try the nearby room called ”de deli” - breakfast, really good! Hope the above sharing helps everyone!

Stayed here for 8 days. The hotel is located in the center of the old town where must-see attractions are concentrated. It has convenient transportation and many surrounding bus routes. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping. I booked a loft room with a kitchen. The room is large and has a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and other kitchen appliances. It is as convenient as living at home. The disadvantage is that the bedroom is upstairs and you have to climb stairs several times a day. The hotel room can only be booked for more than seven nights, so after 10 days, I went back to Amsterdam and stayed for four days and stayed in other hotels.

Excellent room, excellent location and atmosphere of the hotel. Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible. The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough. After returning from Iceland, I opted to stay here again. This time, my room was on the 3rd floor, but there's no direct elevator access – you have to switch elevators on the second floor. The room didn't have any stirrers, and when I asked, the front desk wouldn't send them up; I had to go down to get them myself. What was truly frustrating was the motion-sensor light in the bathroom. It would always turn off automatically halfway through my shower, leaving me in complete darkness. I'd essentially be left in the dark twice during a single shower!

Booked this hotel cause it’s near to our friends house. Self Checked in process was ok. However when we entered the room it’s much smaller than what we saw in the photos. Our three luggages cannot be opened and lay flat. Bathroom also smaller than usual Japan hotel. After showering, the floor is very wet. Our room’s door is very near to the next door room hence when next door open or close the door we can hear it clearly. When we entered the room the first moment we called receptionist to ask if we can change the room. However hotel receptionist is not friendly. We haven’t used any of the stuff inside the room but still didn’t allow us to change the room.

It was a fascinating 3-day-journey. I really liked the hotel and the staff… They welcome you at the reception with a kind big smile. They gave two magnets while check-in and 3 key rings while checking out as presents. Hotel’s location is very close (7-8 mins on food) to Sloterdijk Station which you can have access to train, metro, tram, public and international bus. The room was clean. They changed the towels and cleaned the room on the second day. The bed was so comfortable and big enough. There was also a microwave oven, fridge, kettle and coffee/tea bags… The only missing things are air condition and hair dryer.. there was a fan which works but seems mot enough to cool down the room. If I come to Amsterdam one more time, I will stay there again.
