Everything was great, just a tiny notice about housekeeping they have forget to clean the coffee bar inside our room. However we used the request tablets to get new cups and coffee pods and they delivered within less than 20 min.

The hotel is very clean and the waiters are very considerate. My husband caught a cold and had a fever on the second day after checking in. The hotel staff took the initiative to call and ask if he needed help. On the last day of checkout, they also asked if he had recovered. There are also a variety of beautiful desserts in the hotel lobby for guests to taste. The hotel is also very conveniently located. It is within walking distance to various important attractions. There are also many restaurants and bars nearby. It is worth mentioning that the hotel's breakfast is very delicious. If you come to Athens again, the dolli is definitely the best choice!

Great location. We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious. I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake.

Stayed twice within a week while transiting through Athens.
Staff very helpful and chatty. The room facing the Acropolis was great. Very clean and well presented. Our earlier stay in another room windowed onto a central atrium and until I complained about the noise staff were making at 02:15 we couldn’t sleep. They accepted this with grace. Very central. Highly recommended.

The location is great and some of the staff are too (was made to feel invisible on more than one occasion). if you’re expecting to have that moment of relief when you finally collapse on your bed following a tiring journey, this isn’t the place. I travel a lot and don’t mind paying premium prices but not for a less than ordinary room which this hotel is. I received an upgrade but even this resembled a poorly decorated worn out living room… not worth the money.

We booked two rooms and were very satisfied with the room. I would like to know the brand of their mattress and quilt. How come they are so comfortable? Sleeping on the bed after a day of traveling is like sleeping on cotton.
The hygiene is also very good. After all, we are allergic. They replied to me by email that they have very high hygiene standards, which is true. By the way, the water next to the coffee machine is also free. There is just a relatively high environmental tax, but I still like it overall.

Absolutely loved my time in this hotel! Had a great time, amazing poo, incredible roof top restaurant, the most iconic view possible ever in all of Athens with a beautiful setting!! We got the junior suite for our family of 4. The room was quite spacious and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent. Location was also great with the subway just outside. The view of Athens from the rooftop was also awesome… a great way to end our stay at Athens being able to see all the places we visited. The only issue I had was with the parking. While the hotel has parking, lots are limited and was full when we arrived. I had to find street parking. The first night, I was lucky and found one quite quickly and only about 6mins walk from the hotel. The second night, I took close to an hour to find parking. There was paid 24hr parking across the street but they couldn’t accommodate our larger car. The only other slight problem with our room was that the wind would hit against the door early in the morning when other people where checking out… as ours was a corner unit. It sounded like someone was slamming on our door and it woke me up. Took me awhile to figure out the rapping on the door was caused by the wind and not some prankster.FromRUB 5,882

The Amalia Hotel Athens is in an excellent location—right in the center, with easy access to major sightseeing spots and many great food options. It is definitely the best choice in Athens, offering comfort at a very reasonable price.
What made our stay truly memorable was the outstanding staff:
Mrs. Kalliopi (Front Desk Receptionist) – She warmly upgraded our room, recommended some of the best dining experiences in Athens, and even made reservations for us. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel so welcome.
Ms. Irini Pasalidou (Housekeeping) – She kept our room spotless, replaced towels and toiletries promptly, and greeted us every morning with a smile. Her dedication, efficiency, and kindness made us feel right at home.
Breakfast Team: Stavros & Marilena – Their smiles and attentive service brightened each morning. Stavros always served fresh orange juice as soon as we sat down, while Marilena ensured the buffet was well stocked and the tables were clean. Their dedication and hard work made breakfast a delightful experience.
Because of these wonderful team members, our visit to Athens was exceptionally enjoyable and comfortable. We will gladly recommend Amalia Hotel Athens to our friends and look forward to returning soon.

What a delightful hotel. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights from the 2nd to the 6th of December '23. Thye staff were more than helpful, from the staff at breakfast to the reception staff and the young chap on the door. The breakfast was ample with a good selection of hot and cold food. The views from the dining area were spectaular from either side. The bedroom was ample with balcony. The house maids cleaned and tidied the room every morning. The shower was hot and with great water pressure. We will certainly stay in this hotel when we return to Athens. To all of the staff....'take a bow'... you deserve it !FromRUB 10,850

It’s a very basic economic hotel. I booked the premium room with a balcony for city view, but everything (the room, the breakfast, the vibe, the staff) is still very basic. Also, there isn’t any window in the toilet so it always smells bad.
The location is very good tho, close to everything.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it. Living here makes me feel Athens isn’t that good. I lived in another hotel after 2 days and it made me feel Athens much better.FromRUB 4,096

Good location and good service.. we all 6 persons stayed at the hotel for 4 nights alternately. Our luggage stored at the hotels safety. They helped us to book cub and prepared the breakfast for us at 5:30am before morning time. Absolutely, thank you very much for all staffs including in the Kitchen. Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice…

The 8th and 9th floors of the hotel, as well as the rooftop breakfast area (which is also the top floor), offer direct views of the Parthenon. Plus, the infinity pool on the rooftop is perfect for photos! Probably because there are so many guests (and many rooms), after calling the front desk, service takes a long time to arrive (sometimes I even had to directly ask a housekeeper in the hallway for what I needed). The room facilities are quite old. Around noon, the front desk gets swamped with guests checking out.
