This is a great hotel. Starting from the location, ending with small details in the room - mosquito spray in a perfume bottle. The staff is very polite and caring. You feel in absolute comfort and safety. The hotel area is very beautiful, surrounded by greenery. Breakfasts are great. There is everything. Buffet format + ordering from the menu. Any kind of scrambled eggs, porridge, juices, avocado toast, fruit, etc. You must leave a deposit of 1000 baht at the hotel; it will be returned upon check-out. On the downside, one night there was a lot of noise from the company in the neighboring villa. With music, dancing, etc. I think the hotel should take action and prevent this from happening. Still, the non-hotel format does not imply noisy parties.

Everything is at a high level. I would especially like to note the cleanliness of the staff uniform! It is clear that this (and not only this) is being monitored. As always, great bed, linen, etc.) Of the minuses, I would note the excessively high humidity in the room and the lack of a dehumidification mode for the air conditioner. Because of this, it is difficult to sleep and to breathe with humidity is also so-so. (We had villa 26)

We had a great stay at Kupu Kupu. It would be nice if the hotel could also offer complimentary water at the pool in the high temperatures. The pool was not cooled and the water was very very warm. Here and there the cleanliness could be better. It was a nice stay, but in the price category you can at least expect this. Thank you!

I loved this hotel! The pool is incredible and the rooms were very spacious. The hotel itself is a bit out of the way but if you just want to hang out at the resort, it is more than equipped to keep you busy and/or relaxed (gym, pool, spa, beach). There is a cute little street right next to it with tons of great restaurants (Monsoon was amazing!) and that street leads to a huge beach. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone, but couples and families in particular.

The grounds are beautiful and well worth the 5 star rating. The breakfast was lovely and the staff was helpful and friendly. The deluxe superior room, on the other hand , was heavy , poorly lit, outdated, with only one electric outlet not being used for lamps and TV. The toilet can not flush toilet paper. The food at the restaurant was meh. The chicken in the pad Thai was too hard and dry to chew. The beach was heaven.

I liked the hotel, there was a deluxe room on the mountain. The views are gorgeous! It was not easy for some people to climb the stairs, but for me it was ok! On the contrary, you lie on the beach all day, you want a little movement. There is a gym, but I didn’t go into it. The sea is no longer for swimming, but just for splashing around. The beach is small, I didn’t see any strangers, because the hotel is located far from party places. There are beach towels provided in the room and on the beach. Very comfortably. I also liked the breakfasts - eggs, salads, fruits, yogurt... nothing more! The staff is responsive and ready to help! I only went out to the village once. 15 minutes on foot. Hard Rin Beach is also there, if you love waves, then the best thing to do is jump on them, remember your childhood there. Elsewhere on the island the water is calmer.

Great accommodation - clear recommendation!
The hotel is clean, stylish and located on a beautiful beach with blue water. It offers an hourly shuttle service to the Haad Rin main area - but it's also an easy walk. This takes about 15 minutes.
At the hotel, the infinity pool with a transparent pane and the floating breakfast are convincing. I will come back!!

The hotel is 4 stars. And this is clearly visible in everything. The service, room cleaning are all excellent. The staff here is very friendly, fulfills all requests. The location is near the hotel. This is where it wins. It is located on a beautiful beach next to the Anantara hotel. Close, within walking distance all infrastructure: shops, restaurants, cafes, laundries, bike and car rental, exchange offices, massages, etc. From Thong Sala Pier it takes 30 minutes, a taxi costs approximately 1000-1500 baht, depending on the number of people. There are downsides to the hotel: 1. The biggest downside is the breakfast. It’s disgusting. Everything is tasteless, the pastries are old, there are no fresh juices, it’s impossible to drink coffee from the machine. 2. The room is very small, the bathroom always smells damp and musty. Upon request They install an aromatic liquid, but it lasts literally for 2 hours. 3. The quality of linen and pillows leaves much to be desired. Results: The hotel is good, a solid four. If you want to live on the shore of a beautiful beach, then choose it.

It's a nice and relaxing beach, to get away and wind off a bit. The room was super clean and new, and was quite nice with a balcony. There are very few plugs in the room, and the bedside plug was obstructed by the mattress and the bed, so it was unusable.
There's a pool but it had a lot of sand from the kids running in and out of the beach and jumping directly into the pool... The beach, facing sunrise, is perfect and one of the nicest ones on the island, along with the larger one on the other bay next door. The SUPs and kayaks were old and broken. It had a very nice breakfast, which was included.
Service was good, but I was upset that they claimed the hotel was going to be fully booked and couldn't offer a late checkout, although there were plenty of rooms available on trip.com to book, and when later that day I said that, they changed the story and said my room was already booked for the next day.

This property’s location is rather remote and quiet which was what we wanted. You’ll need to take a taxi to the village which is about 200 baht per way as walking along the beach to the village is not easily accessible from the hotel. Room is relatively spacious with nice balcony. 2 very nice large pools. The 2nd pool is located at Blk 3 up on a steep slope which is great if you room is located there. Breakfast spread was very nicely balanced between east and west. Only negative comment was the poor internet connection in room and by the beach which can be frustrating for some. Overall, it is a beautiful, quiet, organic type of place and we’ve enjoyed our stay.

The place is very beatiful with amazing view, but for 4 stars hotel they need to make improvements in general, service, food and facilities.
The hotel is too far from the center about 40 min by car, and the hotel doesn’t provide any shuttle for free, if you want to go to the city for any reason you have to pay.
Breakfast: there is variety of food but I’m my opinion it’s not a good quality, I was expecting more.
Facilities: swimming pool and sun beds is ok, they provide one kind of fabric but isn’t towel.
Room: my room was beatiful and clean, but so dark, bathroom the floor was a kind of tiles slippery and little bit, this is a kind of hazards.

The house gave me a very good impression. It felt cool when I entered the first day. The space on the first floor was open, and the glass in front of it was glass, revealing the clear pool and the sea in the distance. My family and I have a pleasant experience here. The location of the house is not too good, there is no shop nearby, but we rented a motorcycle when we went out. It is convenient to have a car. So this is not enough. We also book breakfast on the morning of the last day. A few aunts came over and made a table in half an hour. We will choose the next time there is a chance.FromTWD 8,550

As returning customers we were once again treated to a fantastic stay at Da Kanda. Our villa was immaculate and had everything we needed. The resort itself has a great pool with a fantastic view of the ocean.
The reception staff and super friendly and helpful. Panana and You are extremely knowledgeable about all things Koh Phanghan.

There is so much to like and a few things to be warned about in this property. The first is that the location, Chaloklum beach, is very remote and will be difficult to get to from Thong Sala pier unless you are traveling with a large group.
However, that remoteness is very much the appeal of this area for me, as it is once of the quietest beaches I’ve ever experienced. The second thing to note is that the hotel rooms shows it’s age, with a cracking bath tile for the jacuzzi and balcony doors that barely work. The hotel room only had one plug as well, and the hair dryer did not work. The last thing I will say though is that the view really is unbeatable; you open your curtains and see one of the most beautiful sights you can see.FromTWD 1,415

Excellent breakfasts, the area and the pool overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, the rooms are in good condition, cleaning was done every day, a good beach for snorkeling and a passage to the island of Koh Ma, it is not swimmable, a little to the left and the beach is swimmable, there are restaurants nearby, there were no night parties, we were happy with everything, perhaps the only minus is that we arrived at 12 and waited until 14 to check in.FromTWD 2,216

The hotel has a good location and good quality rooms. However, I really didn’t like the hotel’s attitude towards the issue of distributing sun loungers by the pool. All the time they are booked with someone (put down a towel), and there are no people themselves either at the sunbeds or at the pool. As a result, the sunbeds are empty all day, but you cannot occupy them. When contacting employees, they ignore this problem. For example, I attach 2 photos (2 were taken at 7 am - all the sunbeds were already occupied and there was no one there). During the 10 days I was there, I was never able to spend time with them. As for me, this is an indicator of disgusting service from the hotel and this must definitely be corrected in the futureFromTWD 2,229

The room is a bit old, the facilities are also very old, and there are unwashed marks on the sheets. But the location of the hotel is so perfect that these shortcomings can be ignored. You can see the sunrise at 6:30 in the morning, you can see the moon rising over the sea in the evening, and you can see the sun and the moon shining together in the morning around the 15th. We have stayed in a great room B11. The view was amazing ..the room was clean and had lovely balcony. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I was bit worried after reading the reviews online however there was no need as hotel was great for the price. Salad beach is also beautiful. Good food in restaurant area.
