The hotel is very good, I set the annex, it is opposite, noisy along the street, but the rooms are relatively clean. In addition, you can enjoy all the equipment in the main building. The swimming pool is nice and the hotel has a private beach which looks great. The service staff were very good. Breakfast is very generous, single room set, but with children, only 850 rubles (33 yuan) for half-price breakfast. The next day I stayed at the Jetwing lake hotel under Lion Rock, great!

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. I stayed in the sunrise jacuzzi suite and it was wonderful. The staff is great too, very friendly, service is fast. The food for breakfast and dinner (buffet and set menu) is very tasty and good. However, bc of the power cuts, i was plunged into darkness several times a day lasting from 10-30seconds which wasnt pleasant (especially night time). Besides this, would recommend this place.

The booked big bed room has become a standard room. It doesn't matter because it is a transfer night! The front desk of the hotel was very warm, although it was a little problem, but with the help of Ctrip, it was solved quickly! The hotel is very simple, simple, cool! The facilities in the room are basically complete, but there is no toothbrush. It is good to bring it. After getting up in the morning, I found that the passengers are basically European and American passengers. Two swimming pools, one is attached to the lagoon, the scenery is good! Breakfast was good, because I only stayed in Sri Lanka for one night, so there is no comparison with other hotels! The view is really good!

This was my third stay at the Goldi Sands, honestly, the last time was nearly 20 years ago but I had such a great time back then I had high expectations. In the intervening 20 years, the hotel has had a revamp, double the size, double the number of swimming pools, added an elevator and they've removed the beach-fronted bungalows. All of which I think was a smart move and well worth doing. What has changed is the service and the catering. The staff are of course all very polite just that they didn't go the extra mile like they used to. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed, all I wanted was a couple of bottles of beer, they did arrive but I almost had to beg. I booked a taxi to the airport with the front desk, but they forgot, the waitresses at dinner were all about the hard upsell rather than serving. The breakfast as far as my memory serves me used to be awesome, today's breakfast is the same every day and lacks imagination, is poorly presented, and includes the worst coffee ever. The hotel has a confusing number of tariffs from all-inclusive to room only which means if you want to buy a drink it takes forever as they have to check your ”status” and then if you pay cash they have to go to the cashier as they carry no float. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable but basic. All in all it is still a good hotel to choose but sadly it is no longer in the memorable category.

Есть все необходимое для комфортного отдыха! Вкусный ресторан Sasha в пяти минутах ходьбы от отеля! Супермаркеты, сувенирные лавки, длинная береговая линия в 5-15 минутах на тук-туке! Вкусный завтрак был включён в стоимость! Хозяин отеля-Уди, прекрасный человек! Очень вежливый, участливый, супер-отзывчивый, всегда поможет, ответит на все вопросы, сделает все, что в его силах, чтоб ваш отдых в отеле был замечательным! Обожаю это место, людей! We had ourHome Coming function at Arena Artorium, Avenra Garden, Negombo with about 350 guests. They have made it unforgettable and it was nicely organised. Staff were really helpful and nice. Event Cordinator, Mr Ibrahim, gave us a remarkable service. Rooms were also up to the standards and with all the amenities. Food was mouthwatering and delicious. Recommended.

I booked a deluxe king-bed room to make it more comfortable for me to sleep alone. The guy at the front desk made it into a twin-bed room for me. After communicating with me, I quickly changed the room. The facilities and equipment are quite old. When booking this hotel, don’t book it on Ctrip The reservation for dinner and breakfast was a group that was not delicious. The Western food at the restaurant for an extra fee is still available and the price is not expensive. It is just too close to the seaside. Sometimes there will be power outages. Sometimes the lights will be on and the air conditioner will automatically turn off (I guess the voltage is insufficient) , there is also a jewelry store on the first floor of the hotel, don’t buy it, they are all jewelry with high water content! When I left at the end, I piled a pillow mountain of tips on them (just 1,300 rupees).

It's close to the airport. It may be convenient for a little stay due to time. But there are no shops or buses nearby. Nearby bus stop or train station It is difficult to walk without using a taxi or tuk-tuk. There are no amenities. I need to bring it. The room only has a rack, a chair, and a trash can for hanging clothes. There is breakfast. Food is to be eaten on the roof terrace. Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 cuisine milk rice, coconut 🥥 used samball served. It was spicy but very delicious. Hotel tuk 🏨 I think the tuk is expensive. I had money troubles. I went shopping at the place I asked for, and it took a long time because the cash register was crowded. I was charged an astonishing amount. ,, I asked why, but the answer was difficult to understand. A little disappointing. It is better to discuss the money with the owner before using it. I paid for this hotel booking site and stayed at the hotel I was charged for my stay. I showed the image of the receipt from the app, explained it, and asked for a refund. I made a bill payment together with a tuk-tuk, Because the tuk tuk was priced high for reasons I don't understand I didn't get the full amount paid for the hotel. The owner didn't know I had paid. and answered. Why did you make a reservation by paying with a card from the app site? It was a pity that it was difficult to understand whether it was answered like that and what kind of mechanism it is 😢

Stayed here to recover from my long flights. Very comfortable place, but it is a little difficult to find from the road. It's not exactly close to anything a tourist would be interested in, however transportation is cheap and you can get to the nice bits of Negombo or to the transportation centers very easily.

Arrived at the hotel around 9 pm, the boss had waited there and welcomed us warmly, gave us a local very special sour and sweet drink, and then patiently introduced us to the relevant information. Going downstairs at night, the sound in the living room is playing music, so emotional! ! ! Walking in the hotel garden, with the lights, sitting on the rocking chair, feeling the breeze, very comfortable ～ The breakfast time was agreed, but it was 20 minutes late and we were not urged. When we arrived at the restaurant, the proprietress brought the breakfast up, warm, and the boss patiently and politely introduced us to each kind of food. Very rich breakfast, you can choose black tea or coffee, with drinking water and fruit drinks, sausage and flown fried eggs, I love it! Local specialties of pasta and fruit, mainly sweet, roasted toast, as well as jam and butter, don't be too perfect ～ The boss and the proprietress get along very comfortable, and the speech behavior makes people feel very friendly and enthusiastic. The hotel is about half an hour away from the airport. You can book a shuttle at the front desk for about US$20 per trip. There is a beach downstairs, but the beach is a bit dirty and the sand is co****. The room is quite clean, you need to bring your own slippers, but the soundproofing is average. There is a KTV upstairs and it is a bit noisy before 9pm. There is a bar and swimming pool on the top floor, which is quite large and has a good view. There is a restaurant on the 6th floor. The staff are very enthusiastic, especially the restaurant manager. He is very nice and the pasta is very good. My brother who had a flight to catch a flight told the manager in advance that they can take it away. The price is about the same as at the airport, but his salads are better. There are a lot of colorful peppers and raw onions, and other dishes use some Sri Lankan spices, which are similar to strong curry flavor, so friends who are not used to it should order with caution. Not bad for a one-night transfer between flights.
