This hotel is perfect in ever way. Breakfast is great. Comes very fast the bacon and eggs and they’re perfectly cooked. Location is great - about 15 euros in a taxi to the main sights of Rome. The only thing I would say is specify when you book that you don’t want to stay in room 401. This is because it stinks! Our clothes still smell of the room now. We managed to move rooms 1 night and also others in our group were staying in another room. Both of these rooms didn’t smell. All the staff are great however I feel they failed ti comprehend the smell of the room. As soon as you open the door you wretch. They solved the smell for one day and it came back. This was the only disappoin**ent in the whole stay and I hope genuinely it can be addressed as it’s the only thing that marred our stay.

The reviews for this hotel raise expectations. And while I agree with most reviews in part, I would also advise that you temper your expectations as this hotel is good but not great. The first problem for me and, based on conversations at breakfast , many others, was the difficulty in finding the hotel. Although I was told repeatedly what a short distance it was from the metro, the university etc, it is nevertheless difficult to find without google maps and lots of direction asking. Second is the state of the hotel; again good and at first sight an oasis of calm in the heat but a bucket to catch drips of water from the ceiling and crumbling paint on the walls, suggests that this oasis could do with a refurb. My room was on the ground floor, and again it was fine. But the room got very hot in the night and the shower did not work. Finally the breakfast; at first glance an excellent spread bustling with choice with one exception; the availability of toast at 8.15am as it had to be collected from the local supermarket ! As I said, the hotel is good and the staff are very well meaning but do not be lured into expecting anything more than average.

Super clean! Health is very good~ A villa is very quiet, there is a plant that doesn't know if it is very loose. The community next to it is very quiet. A few steps away is the security building opposite the Australian Embassy in Italy. Patrol with a gun. Super like their restaurant, the chef is great, although the breakfast is not particularly good but enough, great breakfast, slippery eggs are the best I have eaten in Italy, Hilton is not so delicious ~ 10 minutes from Bologna on the B line of the subway, there are buses to various popular attractions ~ Awesome! This villa is excellent! The room is very cleaned, we love the food and the breakfast there. It’s very quiet. 10 waking distance to Metro B Bologna, bus to ***y tourist destinations. We love there!!!

Reviews From Real Travelers
We booked Osimar as a last minute replacement as our other hotel had cancelled a few days before we travelled. And we are so happy that they did cancel! From the second we got there we loved everything about the hotel. The staff on check in were brilliant and gave us a tour of the hotel and where everything was located. They gave us a map of the city and a few refreshments to put in our fridge. The room was immaculate and perfect for a city break. The bed was comfortable and tv great if you wanted to watch a few films in between sight seeing. They even change your mattress everyday! The aircon was a life saver as it was 38 degrees. Our favourite feature is the old lift, it’s so quirky and we loved using it for getting up to our room. The breakfast was perfect, a good selection of pastries, meats and juices. The only downside is the distance from the city center but the nearest metro station is a 10 minute scooter ride or 20 min walk so nothing too bad. Overall it’s a fantastic hotel and I would tell anyone going to Rome for a sight seeing holiday to stay here! Grazie Hotel Osimar!
- Guest User
The Hotel Osimar is of a good tourist level, the breakfast is good, varied and plentiful, the location is excellent due to its proximity to the Tiburtina station (about 20 minutes on foot), the subway (about 15 minutes on foot) and line 61 of the 'bus (outside the hotel) which takes you to Piazza Barberini on one side and to Maxxi on the other. Comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet and at the same time well served, not far from the university area with a wide choice of clubs and restaurants. The staff is attentive and helpful. The presence of school groups should be considered in spring.

We recently stayed for two nights at this lovely, air conditioned hotel situated right across the road from the Tirburtina train station. (From this station, you can purchase last minute train tickets to the Fiumicino Airport - very efficient and economical transport.) Our room at Adesso was small but extremely clean and nicely decorated. The bed and bed linens were wonderful. The full bathroom included a wonderful shower head (with excellent water pressure), a full bathtub and bidet. The in-house restaurant was very nicely appointed and convenient - especially if you're just too tired to venture out! We chose to include the breakfast option during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the plentiful help yourself breakfast, including eggs, various meats, cheeses, baked goods, cereals, yogurt, fruit and salads - with an excellent variety of coffees. While lunch and dinner offerings were limited, they were tasteful. The menu included a hot pasta of the day, a few salads, and cold platters to share (or not). The staff were all genuinely friendly, courteous and very professional. We really enjoyed speaking to the reception, restaurant and bar staff. Sincere thanks to all!

I went on a rugby weekend to see the six.nations competition Italy v Ireland. The staff made me welcome upon my arrival and advised me on certain security issues when visiting the top landmarks in Rome to make my experience less intimidating which i appreciated enormously since was on this occasion travelling alone. I even requested and took on the recommendation of the staff member for a good local hair stylist. he he There are plenty of good bakeries and small bars and restaurants in the neighborhood making this an ideal location in comfortable surroundings. Tip outside the hotel a short minute walk, is a direct bus line to the Vatican. Allin.all great and knowledgeable staff and very helpful. Room was good and a speedy elevator my floor. breakfast was sufficient with plenty of fruit and choice, Do get the Roma 72 pass i used the public transport quite often.

I really liked this hotel. It is a little bit away from Central Rome (a 30 minute bus ride) but therefore you get to see the ”Real Rome” ...surrounded by locals doing local stuff. There is a good Chinese restaurant close by (Dao Chinese Bistrot) as well as a good pizza place (Il Tunnel). A small supermarket is less than 5 minutes away. There is also a roof-top terrace which was very nice place to read a book in the afternoon with a glass of wine.

Reviews From Real Travelers
Experience at this hotel was mixed. We went on an 11 day trip to Rome with another couple staying at the same hotel as us. Unfortunately when we were shown to our rooms we were disappointed. Our room was rather small had twin beds not a king and there was little space for our belongings. We had to keep most of our clothes in suitcases as there were only six coat hangers provided in a very tiny wardrobe. Hanging space for dresses was inadequate and my wife's dresses hung out of the wardrobe and the door could not be shut. The hotel did replace the twin beds with a king size mattress and supplied another six coat hangers which made life a little bit easier for us. The bedside tables are probably the smallest ones I've seen in my life and you could just about fit a couple of pairs of socks in these. They were very few PowerPoints and the kettle was sat on a small dressing table but there was no mirror over it so rendered the Power Points below useless for my wife to use her hair dryer. You haven't realised the kettle wasn't plugged in and it was only by pulling all the furniture out that we were able to reconfigure things to use the kettle several days into our stay. Our friends stayed in basement room which was more spacious but the there was a significant lack of light and when they arrived it smelt really really musty in fact they complained and the holiday tour operator some send photos of the room but then rejected them because they look too dark not a surprise given that it was a basement room and they got the lights on and the place really smelt of mold we were lucky with our room because at least it had a small balcony which overlooked the neighboring Afghan embassy. The bathroom was of an accent size which is fortuitous because one of our cases was stored underneath the sink unit for the whole of the duration of the holiday. The cleaners did an absolutely fantastic job and the rooms were spotless. We did however have a problem with the shower tray which wasn't draining properly however this was sorted out the same day we brought this up with reception. a special thanks to all the female staff who were fantastically helpful and welcoming and there was also a young barman who was there most evenings and he was really helpful supplying us with ice buckets corkscrews plates knives and forks so we could eat in in the garden which was a very pleasant experience. It's a real shame that the garden being so lovely was not made more use of for example the hotel could put a small cocktail bar in the garden for evenings and an evening restaurants service I'm sure will be very easy to set up in this particular hotel. Breakfast was entertaining. It was over seen by a restaurant manager who behave more like a referee telling us what we could and couldn't do. On a first day when we turned up to breakfast at 9:30 we sat on a table reserve four and he tried to kick his off but we were eventually allowed to stay because we said our friends were coming t

The hotel was beautiful on arrival but that soon changed when we was told were we was staying for the next 4 nights. I had seen some reviews about rooms being downstairs in a basement and I honestly thought the reviews were wrong when actually no we did stay in what was a basement that had a window but no natural daylight to come through we was so far down. The room was not a 4 star standard at all, I can't speak for other rooms that are in this hotel but if this is what their standard bed and breakfast is I would not recommend and pay a little bit more money and stop elsewhere. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel just simply because when in Rome there is so many nice places to go out and eat, the breakfast did always smell nice and on the last day it looked like there was plenty of options. There is nothing close around the hotel that really represents Rome and I would recommend staying near or in Trastevere, it's closer to plenty of restaurants and closer to the monuments in walking distance. I think I purely picked this out of being a cheaper option but I regret not paying that bit extra for a nicer hotel and walking distance to places, everywhere is flat so if something is a 20 minute walk it's very easy and with the weather it's sometimes the nicer option. The lobby gave the idea of it being 4 star but not the room. It didn't put me off because Rome is such a beautiful place so if you have this booked please don't let this put you off just spend your time out and about but if you are looking to book I would recommend somewhere closer the place I mentioned before.

Hotel di media fascia che gode di una particolarità difficile da trovare in questo periodo: la cordialità, la semplicità, la cortesia e la grande preparazione professionale dello staff che opera nella reception e nella sala colazione. Ineccepibili. Assolutamente ineccepibili!

We were on a tour. Our room and many others didn't have the air conditioning working. The advice was to leave the window open. Nice breeze but you get the noise and our opened to an internal facilities area. It didn't seem safe to leave the window open all night. Also there were no tv channels in English. There were some channels you could change the language to English but took a long time to find.

This is an apartment hotel with a kitchen, sofa, dining table and a large balcony in the room. Health is actually very good, the room is large and the bathroom is spotless. Breakfast is divided into ordinary, silver and gold packages, and Ctrip has a silver package. Breakfast is in a bar opposite the building. Parking is very convenient and free, just on the first floor. There is an oversized Carrefour supermarket less than two kilometers away by car. The front desk and enthusiasm also personally took me to the underground parking lot to confirm. The hotel has two floors, behind is an oversized golf course, but you can't enter it casually, even for in-house guests. The price around 130 Europe is very cost-effective. Very suitable for rest and short stay around Rome, very quiet and very clear. But not suitable for a trip back and forth to Rome. Because the location is indeed a bit biased.
