A well located accommodation on the Avenue of California. A lot of camping and ships. Deco is not available but very convenient and spacious apartment. Comfortable bedroom but the sofa in the lounge is unstable to sleep.

Fantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel.
Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast.

The most obvious advantage of the hotel is its location. You can see the sea right outside, which is quite comfortable. There are also many restaurants to choose from around. There are no minefields in the room. The price-performance ratio is ok. I went there during the off-season. Great hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.
3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it).
4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock.
Clearly some teething issues with this new hotel, understaffed and poor communication and training. A few excellent staff too. But seemed to lack any meaningful or visible leadership in key client facing areas, which the brigade seemed to need.FromUS$946

Nice – a perfect hotel, top-tier.
Just stayed at the Radssion Blu in Nice and the Peninsula Hotel in Paris, completely different experiences.
This hotel brought me peace and fulfillment. The staff were all very welcoming and polite.
I'd give the hotel's scent an 11/10 – it smelled amazing! I even picked up the soap packaging after washing my hands to take a picture, hoping to see what each one smelled like. The toiletries were all sample sizes, convenient to take home, and the air was filled with a herbal fragrance while I slept.
The hotel is clean, imbued with a sense of divinity and artistry, beautifully blending 17th-century elements with modern design. There's no TV, but three windows and a balcony are a wonderful feature.
The only downside is that the hotel address doesn't match the taxi drop-off point. As a Ctrip Black Diamond member, I contacted customer service, who replied that the hotel told me to get off at the correct address. However, it was an 11-minute walk from my drop-off point to my destination (I had three suitcases). I still don't know if the hotel's response was incorrect or if the customer service representative made a mistake.
For those who have booked, please be careful! The correct drop-off address is 2 Rue Centrale. Then call the hotel shuttle to pick you up. Don't book 1 Rue!!!
I've been to Nice three times, and this is my first time staying at this hotel. But I think I'll definitely choose this hotel first when I come to Nice for the fourth time. It truly brings happiness.FromUS$793

The room door needs to be closed twice to shut completely, and you have to stand in the bathtub to shower. No slippers are provided in the room. The hotel is located near Place Masséna, a very lively area. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bookstores nearby. It's also close to the sea, perfect for walks and sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt.
Unfortunately, the streets were extremely noisy on the second night, making it almost impossible to sleep from midnight until dawn. Of course, this is beyond the hotel's control.

I had an excellent time at the hotel du Pin in Nice. The hotel was very clean, close to the beach, restaurants and the marina. The staff were amazing specially Raphael at the reception desk. He gave us good info on places and restaurants to visit. The only downside was the breakfast menu, very limited but still okay. The eggs were only served as omelet which was horrible, they could at least try to serve fried or boiled eggs too. Apart from the breakfast everything was great. The breakfast was very disappointing. The tomatoes were completely bland. An omelet, bacon, or sausages would have greatly improved it.
We only had a large bath towel and a bath mat; there was no hand or face towel provided. Shockingly, we even found a hair amongst the 'clean' towels! Our room was not cleaned at all during our 5-night stay. They didn't even supply a basic plastic cup for toothbrushes.
They charge 5 euros to store luggage for just a few hours.

It's within walking distance to Castle Hill, the beach, the old town, the square, the flower market, and the food street. The room size is moderate, and the breakfast is simple but good, featuring smoked salmon. The service attitude is excellent. However, water wasn't provided daily. Perfect location for exploring Nice. Our room lacked basic maintenance, the bathroom extractors did not work, the overhead shower did not work and the heated towel rail was stuck on maximum making use of the toilet beneath uncomfortable. The breakfast was good value with plenty of choice. The staff were mostly great except the women at the pool bar in the evening who was very rude and condescending. I've never encountered such terrible service before. I can't believe a hotel that profits from Chinese tourists would treat them so poorly.
1. I booked a deluxe sea view room, but was given a ground floor room with no sea view at all. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, I was told there were no other sea view rooms available, but I could switch to a city view room on a higher floor.
2. Upon entering the new room, I immediately discovered an unidentifiable object in the bathroom.
3. The seal on the paid snacks was already broken.
4. It took 5 calls to the front desk before anyone answered. I asked for an extra duvet and was told the hotel didn't have any spare ones, and they would check and get back to me. As expected, I never received a call back.
5. All the staff treated Caucasians exceptionally well, while being very dismissive towards Asian guests.FromUS$416
