We had a wonderful stay at Sireempan. The hotel itself is quiet and beautiful, with a koi pond and lots of nice sitting nooks throughout the property. But what makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the amazing hospitality provided by the staff. New was our “host” during our stay (basically our go-to person if we ever had questions, etc), and he went out of his way to make sure we had the most comfortable, seamless stay. E.g., we had to get covid tests the morning of our flight back to the US, and he was able to locate a hospital that offered the service and coordinate a driver to take us there and back. They also provide a lot of thoughtful touches, like having delicious snacks and drinks ready upon arrival, complimentary transportation to and from the airport, making a photo souvenir of us standing in front of the resort with a cute Sireempan picture frame, etc. I didn’t catch the names of the other hotel staff, but each one of them was so friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Anyway, I thought the customer service/hospitality aspect deserved its own highlight, but here are some other quick pros and cons: Pros: -The food at this hotel (especially breakfast) is AMAZING. They offer complimentary breakfast at any time of day, anywhere of your choosing on the property. We would usually choose to eat breakfast by the koi pond and it was so peaceful and serene. Also, the coffee was delicious! -Clean rooms with the most comfortable bed. Another big plus was that there weren’t any bugs in the rooms, which was not the case with the other resorts we’ve stayed at in Thailand (especially resorts like this, where each room opens up to the outside). -Has a spa, fitness center, swimming pool, etc. Unfortunately, we were only in Chiang Mai for 3 days and were out and about sightseeing most of the day, so we didn’t have time to use these facilities. But they looked like they’d be amazing and it was nice to know there was that option if we did want to use them. -Complimentary features like free water bottles/mini bar items, slippers they provide during your stay, transportation into the city, etc. were nice and convenient. Cons: -WiFi for our specific room wasn’t the fastest, but you can use any of Sireempan’s WiFi networks using the same password (the other ones were quicker for us). -You’re relatively close to the airport, so you’ll hear planes flying by every once in a while. This was barely noticeable to us, but worth mentioning for people sensitive to noise. -Toilet flush was a bit weak/you had to hold it down for several seconds to actually flush it. Again, just a small nitpicky thing because it’s hard to think of many other cons with Sireempan. Overall, we loved our stay here and would definitely return!

This is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in! Here you are the master! The hotel is very special, the service staff is very warm and the service is meticulous. Whether it's greeting, eating, or any other time, it is very ritual. We are taking children out, and there is also a seesaw kid who likes it very much. The hotel is not big, but the service you want can basically be satisfied at any time, very luxurious! We like it very much. As for whether it is partial, I think it's okay. The hotel can arrange car delivery at 10, 12, and 5 o'clock. The grab taxi farther away is also very convenient! The driver took us to the Saturday night market for free, and returned 130 baht TUTU car. Did not feel any inconvenience. Massage is also very comfortable! In short, this is a low-key luxury hotel worth staying at!

We traveled there with a fear that the hotel may not be as nice as the other Four Seasons hotels we have visited in the past. But we got there and got amazed of how the hotel is. The hotel is built around a lake. On a side of the lake there are sone rice plantation. The rooms are all around the lake and the plantation but hidden in a beautiful forest and gardens very well maintained. The hotel has, nearby the lake, an activities area including rice planting, pink buffalo bathing, pottery learning, etc. It makes you feel like you are living in a small thai village, in the middle of the nature (ok… luxury village in a luxury nature… ). The room is a “Four Seasons” room with a plus for the outside pavilion, high up from the ground and accesuble from the room through a bridge. All for the two of us to enjoy a drink and a cigar after the dinner right in the middle of the nature (luxury forest as previously mentioned…). So, you may see similar rooms in other hotels but domains as in the Four Seasons hotels you definately won find easily elsewhere. Even the pools were built by using green ceramic, so everywhere you look it is green. So relaxing for the eyes! Overall, it is hard to find the right words to describe the feelings this hotel gives you. If you are a traveler, you should not miss the Four Seasons Chiang Mai.

We had an amazing stay in this hotel! You literally wake up in the jungle with sounds of nature and wild life. The service is on point. All the employees are very attentive. Activities offered by the hotel are fun, especially treating those buffalos that leave in the property. We highly recommend to explore some of the numerous cultural sites such as temples in the vicinity. If you're active you should definitely enjoy a hike on one of the nearby mountains. Visiting elephants in their natural habitat can also be organised by the hotel. We enjoyed delicious dinners at the hotel especially due to the amazing service of Aom. We will definitely come back.

I couldn't be more satisfied with this choice! Whether it is the location or the comfort and privacy, it is perfect. I never thought that in addition to the swimming pool and hot spring, there would be a waterfall in the villa. The room design and layout are reasonable and comfortable, and the service is meticulous and impeccable. The free airport pick-up service is also very considerate.

Property is above expectations. Villa is even more beautiful in life than you see in photos. Atmosphere is relaxing and you don't wanna leave property. Hot tub and waterfall is amazing. Managers is very helpful. Amenities inside the villa is top level: Evian water, San Pelegrino, etc. We are so happy that we found this property😊

I stayed at Sela for 2 nights. I am very impressed with almost everything there. It’s very quiet place stood in a village around 20 km from Chiang Mai city. I feel like staying at excellent B&B in Europe. The place, the rooms are cosy and neat. Everything is vey delicate and detailed. Breakfast might not be varied but good quality. I also had a dinner and a lunch at Windows, which are one of the best meals. Thus, Sela becomes one of my most fav places to stay in Chiang Mai.
- Guest User
Stayed at Sela for 3 nights in December 2022 at a room on the second floor. The room was clean and well-designed. Breakfast was super good with the selection of 3 main dishes for you to choose. Atmosphere is very peaceful and comfortable. It is situation quite far from chiangmsi downtown but if you prefer a quiet place to stay then Sela is perfect for you. The only drawback was the room on the second floor has the sound of toilet flushing of the room above it on the third floor. So recommend to book aby rooms on the third floor.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I came here just because of the reputation, and stayed for four nights in a row. After returning to China, I took a closer look. I should make a serious and responsible review, which can provide an objective review with reference value. First of all, it is indeed an online celebrity hotel, with exquisite scenery, smart garden planning, and many photo spots. If you don’t care about the budget, you can stay for one night. It’s meaningless to stay too much. Andana not far away is much more cost-effective . Secondly, the service is very average. The man who speaks Chinese is just for checking in. The male waiter at the front desk is very cold, and the hotel is very stingy. Except for the ice, everything else needs money. You can’t take away the worn slippers, otherwise you need to pay the bill. In fact, I don’t want to take it away. However, this kind of haggling, and the price is too high, I really feel conflicted in my heart. There is no customer service delivery service after nine o'clock in the evening, so bring your own instant noodles. Finally, regarding the price, the room is not big, and the area is large in the bathroom and balcony. In Chiang Mai, the price/performance ratio is not high. Looking at the house, I think it is small. I upgraded the suite on the spot for 6,000 yuan a day, and the price/performance ratio is really low. Compared with the four seasons, it is ok I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, because I went to live in the Four Seasons Pool Villa later, the price was only a few hundred, but the scale, refinement, service, and rooms were very different. Therefore, from the perspective of affordability, it is not recommended to choose to stay. If you want to take pictures, you can go to a restaurant for a meal. If you have financial strength, it is recommended to suite, because the other bedrooms are a bit cramped. The point is, the breakfast is simple and not worth getting up early to eat. In addition, Ctrip has an advantage, the on-site upgrade is more than 100 more expensive than Ctrip, because the order cannot be modified, there is no way but to upgrade at the hotel price. Cleaning is not professional enough, and I saw insects when I went back to my room at night. I stayed in the Golden Triangle Tent Hotel, in the deep mountains and old forests, and there were no rooms. It can only be said that this is a local Thai brand, and there is a gap between it and the international five-star hotel. The Chinese service will only say hello, and only one of the three service requirements will be completed. The hotel's hardware investment is insufficient, and the rain shower room is not small, but the water is like teardrops, and it is uncomfortable to wash. It is proposed to repair, and the water output is a bit larger, but it should not be so small for low floors. In short, you can live there, just for a day or two. Men, please pay attention. There is a balcony and you can smoke.

My family could not have asked for a better experience. Toto (our butler) and Ann (the general manger) helped make our trip especially memorable. Our kids loved Toto and continue to tell his jokes. Ann keeps a keen eye on this property, always looking to improve. Only 30 rooms allows for a quaint and serene rest. The rooms are large and comfortable. Easy distance to the walled city. The 137 pillars staff ensure a seamless stay.

I am a regular visitor to Chiangmai and thought I should try out this new hotel in town. What a fabulous experience it was The room is very spacious and the hotel is decorated in a modern style, with plenty of Thai touches. The lighting is good and the mirrors in the room are great if you love a mirror selfie as much as I do. The club lounge, (known as the level) is one of the best I have experienced I loved the cocktails of the day especially the Chao Phraya one made with local rum, very delicious, and so much fun to have it made in front of us in a fabulous copper coloured shaker. The service in the club is excellent, the manager Taemasin is very charming and super helpful. He had so much passion for the hotel My only regret is that I did not get to dine in the Mai restaurant. I had seen some beautiful pictures of the food on instagram, and after I talked to Taemasin, who told me that the food is so much more special then the photos can show, I know that I will definitely be back.

Great location at the heart of old city. Love that everything in the minibar is complimentary & replenished daily + free high tea served 2-4pm daily. A beautiful boutique hotel hidden in a quiet street. I like the location because you don’t get noise from the street. Chiangmai in General is not a big city, so wherever you stay it won’t be too far from where you want to go. Once you step into the hotel, you will be amazed by the entire environment. Beautiful pool, beautiful houses, and beautiful rooms. The service may be the best in Chiangmai. The girls at front desk are very friendly, professional, and attentive. Ms. Art speaks perfect English that makes our stay more enjoyable. Breakfast is delicious and varieties. The only thing needs to be addressed is the bed frame in the room. It is a wooden frame with sharp corners and mattress sit on top of the frame but not fully cover the corner of the frame. So be careful when moving around, otherwise it is easy to get hit on your legs. Overall, I love this hotel. I will definitely come back next time back to Chiangmai. You won’t be disappointed.

I came there with my family in December 2015. The view from our room was great (we booked 3 rooms) and the rooms were clean. This hotel is best for relaxation as the area is very quiet. Breakfast was delicious too, but they didn't specify the name of the food (it was a bit difficult for us to identify halal food). Another problem was that there were no restaurants or (similar to 7-11 convenience stores) shops nearby (the nearest restaurant takes 10-15 minutes to walk). Besides that, the overall experience was great.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. There is a kitten that is part of the hotel super funny We recommend it to spend a few days in Chiang Mai it meets the essential requirements of quality price location We would return for sure

Chiang Mai Airport Chiang Mai|2.3km from city center
Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either. The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room. There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

Stay again for sure Reserve a family room, a spacious room, a comfortable bed, 2 rubber pillows, open the door to see the pool view. It is a salt water pool, not very deep, so children can play. very like children The service personnel are good, friendly, there are services and facilities that are convenient and ready. The only disadvantage is that the entrance is quite narrow. Because coming to the Fortuner car, the entrance is very suitable for the car, there is a risk of scratching the car And if it's still a rather sharp curve But inside the hotel is very ok It's private, not loud at all. I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Needed a place in Chiang Mai for 4 nights. Didn't care about luxury but didn't want the cheapest place I could find either. Came across this on Agoda and thought it might be worth a try. It's 150 Baht ride from The Chiang Mai Airport. I arrived Check in Was quick and easy. The room is immaculate. Small but very clean. Great bed flat screen TV many many channels. The air condition is fantastic. It's a hostile but it also has. Individual rooms Which is what I booked. It's unbelievable value. 22.50 a night. They don't advertise free breakfast. But they have a common area just behind reception. With a big screen TV and it's got a full kitchen that everybody is welcome to use. If you clean up after yourself, they have all the utensils. They do have a small breakfast in the morning, which is free to everybody who stays here. Although they don't advertise. It waffles cereal coffee tea toast. Basic But very nice. They also have four or five bicycles that are available free of charge to use which is a tremendous perk. There are a couple of negatives but based on the value for money. I can work around them. Number one no room safe number two When you take the key card out when you leave the room the refrigerator also loses electricity. First I've seen this most hotels I've stayed at. Had the refrigerator socket wired to stay hot, even when the key card was out. And it would be nice if they had a chair. In the room nothing fancy just a basic chair. Should I find myself in Chiang Mai again? I will definitely use this hotel again. The staff here are very very friendly. From the reception to the room cleaners everyone always smiling willing to help out answer any questions. Making sure everybody has a nice day. I can't recommend this place enough.
