The hotel is located on a quiet street in the very lively Galata Tower area, right next to the Şişhane metro station. If you're walking from the Galata Bridge, you'll face a steep uphill climb every time, pushing through noisy crowds. However, the hotel itself is very quiet.
The lobby and elevator have a beautiful interior, reminiscent of the first half of the 20th century.
The room itself was clean but a bit dated. You could see signs of water damage and peeling paint in places, but despite that, it felt very cozy.
Even though it's an apartment-style hotel, housekeeping came every two days, changed towels, and restocked water and tea.
Occasionally, there were issues with the water (it would change color), but I think that's a problem with the old neighborhood in general.
Despite booking a room for three (two adults and one child), there was no separate bedding for the child. I'm sure if we had asked, they would have provided it, but we were fine with what we had.

The location is 100 out of 100, you can't get more central. Everything is within walking distance.
The staff were wonderful, helped with any question, and were always available.
The only downside was the tired room; a cosmetic renovation would be great. But since it was perfectly clean, it didn't bother me.
Toilet paper, shower gels, shampoos, and water were all provided upon request.
The soundproofing was excellent, or we just had quiet neighbors.
I would gladly return.
There are hundreds of cafes and small shops in the area, and several grocery stores.
Thank you, Meroddi! 💐
