The breakfast was not worth almost $40 person. The parking lot are very small and scary at night. I don’t really feel safe—there was nobody in the area at all. If park on the higher floor, there is no elevator from the 10th up. Better load the luggages before parking.

Beautiful hotel and room. The location is good in old Quebec but to get to other locations requires a walk down and up the steep hill. Amenities such as the gym is quite basic but does the job.

This place is really special. They have a gracious, energetic staff who provide attentive but unpretentious hospitality. Room was meticulously clean and the whole place is beautifully decorated. Location is great - it’s at the bottom of the big hill, in a relatively quiet part of the old town, however just a couple of blocks from the Petite Champlain (get up early to avoid crowds there - at 7am I took photos with no one in them and got a nice coffee). This was a splurge for me, but I won’t ever forget staying here.

We have stayed the hotel on several occasions, and each time it has been excellent, and this was time was the same. The staff is unbelievably kind and helpful. The amenities are quite nice. Food and Service at Chez Muffy and Artifact are exceptional. Rooms are very comfortable. Also the overall safety features of the hotel are truly nice. If you are visiting Quebec City the hotel is an excellent place to begin your adventures.

Great spacious and comfortable apartment with high ceilings and beautiful views, right in the center of old Quebec. I would definitely recommend it to any family visiting Quebec city. If you come by car, you will be able to unload the car by the appartment but will have to find parking 8-10 min away!

The location is absolutely formidable! Opposite the Old Castle Hotel, the rooftop is a surprise, and the beautiful Dahewan has a panoramic view. but! ! ! It’s not easy to find it! On the side of Art Street, ha ha ha ha anyway. Google is not easy to use. I asked the tourist office to realize that it was on his side, haha

Reviews From Real Travelers
We rented a loft at the last minute by calling directly down. We told them that we were going to arrive late because we had a reservation in a late restaurant. We arrived at 1:30 a.m., we never had access to our loft. No indication, no good code left there. The emergency service line has no idea how to help us. It was not able to reach anyone from 1:30 to 3:30 AM on Friday night Saturday. We had no other indication than waiting for someone to call us by making us waiting for the corridors. We never had a return of call, never had any excuses, never offered to pay back. I had to insist by calling and I was told that 3 people were too foolish to get back a code and they didn't believe us ... as if we had just done this for 2 hours 30 in the night. And that we had time to get stubborn with them. The supervisor refused to identify, doesn't want to leave his name after we've been hanging on our nose. We refuse to pay our differences and we have not even paid the price in advance. We intend to prosecute these owners in court so insulting.
- mathieug691
The loft is located in the heart of the bass, just next to a wonderful barrio cafe. And in front of the port of Quebec. All is at a maximum 15 minutes walk. The loft is spacious, very clean and has everything you need. I'll go back without hesitation!

The room is a little small, but the view is good. It is a bit inconvenient to change two elevators to go up and down the stairs. The front desk service is very thoughtful and polite, and there is a special car at the door. The location of the hotel is very convenient and quiet at night.

The location was a big decision in choosing this hotel and it did not disappoint! It is literally in the center of everything and steps away from sights, shopping, restaurants but also away from the noise of bus loads of tourists. The security of the hotel was a great bonus as a solo female traveler! Staff was friendly, the rooms/common areas were always spotless and the decor makes this place a unique spot for sure. I simply loved it and will absolutely be back.

Stylish room with all of the amenities, including Nespresso coffee, a mini-kitchen / wet bar, etc., all tucked behind beautiful custom cabinets. Excellent location. The only thing missing and keeping it from a 5 star rating is that there is no bar. There is a well stocked store where you can buy wine and drink it in the huge / beautiful lounge.

This is the best hotel apartment I have ever stayed in in Canada. Spacious and modern (two bedrooms), laundry and kitchen utensils are available. Enter the door to password. Remember to ask the customer service after completing the reservation. The hotel does not have a counter. No service staff.

Stayed in Penthouse 402. Beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Location was perfect. Grocery store (Metro) two blocks away. Dollar store across the street. Pharmacy very close. Beds were comfortable and was warm and cozy inside. Lots of seating and nice TV.

Given the room price, I would definitely recommend this hotel to those planning go stay in Quebec City. Just a few minutes walk to the old city, in a close proximity to the Congress, surrounded by different bus routes, it’s a breeze to commute to many tourist spots to/from the hotel. Besides the view overlooking from the room is stunning. It far exceeded my expectation! I would certainly come back next time.

The hotel is quite close to the attractions. There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Did not go to breakfast, the Queen bed is very comfortable and the space is very large. The environment and layout are very comfortable, the staff understand English and French and are very welcoming. And the hotel rooms are relatively quiet.

The location of the hotel is average, a little distance from the old city, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk. The hotel reception is on the third floor. The room is not big, but it is relatively clean and has all the necessary facilities, including a coffee machine and a microwave. The hotel is a bit old. The Hilton next to it is better, and of course the price is different. The price is less than 1000 yuan, which is good value for money. Quebec City is really cold and windy.

The hotel is well located in the city, the employees are very professional and courteous. The general atmosphere is pleasant and several services are close and accessible! Unfortunately we were offered parking a few minutes walk from the hotel and there was no mention of it on the website, having a problem in the fascia it was complicated and painful for me.. a warning to me would have allowed me to take everything into account and better manage my travels to avoid pain… the room was super beautiful with a very nice view! But there was a strange stain on the wall and the toilet handle often stayed down so we had to raise the top to stop the constant flow of water. The beds were very comfortable, we had enough blankets/towels. I would happily return to this establishment during my next vacation and prepare in advance to do some walking!

The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the train station. It is very convenient if there is another journey in the future. The service staff has a good attitude. The daily breakfast is delivered to the door of the room. Although it is simple, it is sufficient. The coffee machine provides tea and coffee, and there is welcome tea downstairs, overall very satisfied.

Half way through our stay here. The rooms are lovely and clean, and updated to modern expectations in an old building. Staff have been wonderful. Really good value for money. The only downside so far has been the restaurant (Louise Taverne &Bar a Vin). As we were checking in to the hotel this morning, other customers told us the place is lovely but not to eat here. We decided to go anyway, just wanting a drink while we waited for our laundry to dry… and we may have thought about eating there if all was ok. We were totally ignored, despite trying to attract the attention of the man in charge of the outside area (around a dozen tables, four of which were occupied). We asked someone else if we could sit down. They referred us to him. We waited while he cleaned a couple of tables, walked past us to talk to someone, walked inside and fiddled around in there for a while, walked out again and cleaned a couple more tables, went round us to get to another table where he rearranged the setting. Walked back to near where we were standing and then turned around to chat to some people he had served since we had been there. Don’t know what sort of self-important trip he was on but we left and will not return. But… that led to a delightful experience at 900 Rue Saint-Paul across the road (separate review coming).

It was a short stay to visit Quebec City during the holiday week, and we had a good experience. The hotel staff were very attentive, and I was delighted that they upgraded our room and had free breakfast for two during our entire stay. Service was fast and they answered some of our questions related to commuting. The location is great as it is in the street filled with restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Will choose this location again when we come back to Quebec.

It’s a nice hotel located in the Old City around the corner from a very popular restaurant street, Rue Saint-Jean. This street is a pedestrian mall most of the day & night and there are dozens of restaurants to choose. I had a large room overlooking the pedestrian street although there was an annoying support column in the middle of the room. Windows are double glazed so there is very little noise. The queen size bed (there were two in my room for a solo stay) was soft but comfortable. A good size bathroom with a big walk in shower. The room is decorated with a recent a modern design. Black is the popular colour. There is free wifi but it pretty slow which is very disappointing for a hotel of this standard.. The TV channel choices are also not great. Like many hotels at the moment there is minimal serving of the room. I stayed 5 nights and had my room serviced only once. And when it was serviced no replacement of bathroom accessories were left. I keep hearing that it is due to staff shortages because of Covid but when paying hundreds of dollars a night it is not unreasonable to expect a more regular service, maybe ever other night. One wonders whether it’s just another excuse to find a way of saving money by the hotel. Service generally at the hotel is not great. There is minimal staff on the front desk. And there are a mass of steps from the street to reception & it is difficult to find a person to help get suitcases up and down the stairs. Overall comfortable & convenient location but would have been even better with an upgrade in hotel service & a friendlier attitude overall.

The hotel location was close to Old Quebec so it has high accessibility to these places of interest. However, it would not be recommended to those who do not have transportation available if carrying large luggage or have difficulty going uphill as the hotel is situated on a slope. Do note that as this is a virtual hotel, so there is no staff onsite but they are contactable via the phone number provided and are happy to assist you. The PUR Hotel Quebec is located off Charest Blvd, near Old Quebec. It's a less popular area yet features some great restaurants and boulangeries (bakeries) within walking distance on St. Joseph St. which runs adjacent to the Hotel. I recommend Tora Ya Ramen and Le Bureau De Poste. Also the Le Croquembouche boulangerie is a must visit (the pastries are amazing). Ok on to the Hotel: Our room was on the 16th floor and was very clean and modern. It was quite large and had big floor-length window that provided lots of natural light and an excellent view of St. Joseph St. - The king-size bed was a little soft, but quite comfortable with excellent down (or alternative-down) pillows - The desk was adequate size but I found the chair a little hard to sit on. Also, the desk light did not function, but the other room lights worked well and provided comfortable ambience. - There was a desk phone on one of the bed side tables. A nice feature that seems to be quickly disappearing form many hotels. - A wall-mounted 50 inch LG TV had a good channel selection compared to other hotels that I've stayed at in Quebec. - The outside of the closet door was covered in a great floor-length mirror. - The HVAC worked well with a quiet fan and the controls were easy to operate. Bathroom - I'm sure I'll sound crazy here but the bathroom HAS A DOOR, which, I assume due to recent design trends, seems to be missing in a lot of upscale hotels I've stayed in recently. - The vanity is a good size with lots of room for personal items and there are separate lighted areas for the vanity and shower/tub. - The sink had, in my opinion, an awkwardly located faucet at the side of the sink but it worked fine with good water pressure and the quick enough temperature change. - Under the vanity there was a hair dryer provided. - The shower/tub had a removable handheld shower mounted on a adjustable vertical tube which provided a good even spray with plenty of water pressure. The controls were pretty easy to use with separate dials for on/off/diverter and temperature control. Also the acrylic soaker tub was nice and deep. - The bathroom amenities were provided by Lockwood. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner were wall-mounted in the shower and were excellent. The hand/body lotion and soap located on the vanity were fantastic also. Lastly, I should point out that I found the towels to be soft and absorbent. I wouldn't exactly call them luxurious, but very close. Staff Staff were helpful and friendly and I received my room key in a short time. Restaurant - the hotel has a Van Houtte cafe and a restaurant but we did not eat at either location. TRAVEL TIP Hotel parking costs ~$27/day. Park across the street at the Indigo Public Parking for only $16/day
