If you want to experience the Nepalese style, this is a very good choice because it feels like living in an ancient monument. The equipment in the room has been tidied and the comfort is very good. The hotel is near the Great Pagoda, about a 15-minute walk away, so you can have a quick look at the city.

nice heritage kinda hotel, big room and clean. It's a bit far away from the center, but very close to the budda stupa which is amazing. Hyatt has a standard, and this one doesn't really disappoint. It's a solid hotel to stay for 1-3 days when in kathmandu.

This is one of the few modern and sophisticated hotels you'll find in Nepal. I booked a room without breakfast because my schedule was uncertain. After arriving and seeing the hotel's condition, I decided to book breakfast for the next day. The international buffet offered a diverse and clean selection of food, and it was delicious. Amidst the chaos and noise of Kathmandu, I had a quiet and clean stay here and left feeling well-rested. The quality was much higher than a 300,000 won hotel in Pokhara.

They even set up tours and gave me their WhatsApp contact to ensure my tour went well. The breakfast was great, with a good selection of food options. The gym was the highlight of the hotel. You don’t very often see hotel gyms with a high-quality air bike. I highly recommend this hotel.

If you're not too bothered by hygiene, then it's decent for the price and location (which I definitely am not). The staff were all very enthusiastic, that's one thing I can give full marks for!

I used the WhatsApp contact provided on the website to reach the hotel. They replied initially but then stopped responding. They offered one airport transfer service. I reminded them a few days before arrival, but when I got to the airport, there was no one, and they told us to take a taxi ourselves. The day before, I had specifically changed the departure transfer time with the male front desk staff on the night shift. The car arrived half an hour late, and we almost missed our flight. Later, the driver told me the hotel hadn't informed him of the time change. The breakfast wasn't good. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with hot water.

The room and area was good, but I experienced a scam provided by the receptionist. I have consulted the tour advice with the reception, the guy provided me an excellent two-day rafting package that called by a tourist agent. In the tour, that was a disaster, the tour only half-day with 1/3 distance of his presented tour. The cost he charged me is almost 5 times of the normal price in internet. I would prefer that should be a very special tour and different from I found in internet. That was totally scam and waste my time and money, it was extremely affect my plan and mood. I would report this experience to the concerned parties. It really a shame of Nepalese.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel during my visit to Kathmandu. The property is beautiful and full of character, making it an excellent choice for travelers who appreciate traditional Nepali architecture and culture. As an eco-friendly property, the hotel does not provide air conditioning or a refrigerator in the rooms. However, I did not find this to be an issue at all, as the weather was pleasant and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and making me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was simple and fairly standard, without a huge variety of choices, but everything was fresh and enjoyable. The yogurt, in particular, was excellent and definitely worth trying. There was only one minor issue in my room: the ceiling fan seemed to run at the same speed regardless of the setting, so even the lowest level felt quite strong. I never mentioned it to the front desk because it was not a major inconvenience. The biggest area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, the signal was quite weak and unreliable, especially for anyone who needs a stable internet connection for work or communication. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beautiful traditional design, eco-conscious concept, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality more than made up for the small inconveniences. First of all, I'd like to thank the manager, Kamal. I initially canceled my reservation due to riots in Kathmandu, but then rebooked after hearing that the city was beginning to calm down. He always provided me with the latest information and made excellent arrangements after the rebooking. The rooms were spacious, connecting, and had a bathtub. The hot water was powerful and the air conditioning was also excellent. This type of room was the only one with a refrigerator. However, the noise from the restaurant above was very loud on the sixth floor, so I recommend staying on the fifth floor or lower. The beds were available in soft double and firm single sizes. It's a matter of preference, but I found the softer ones bothersome, like the person next to me tossing and turning. If you want a good night's sleep, it's better to request a twin room. There's a water dispenser in the hallway, so you can refill your water as often as you like using the bottles in your room. Most of the reception staff spoke English and were very helpful and provided a variety of information. However, I did feel that hospitality varied depending on the person. There is a laundry service, but the hotel charges per item, so I recommend using one of the many nearby shops that cost 200 rupees per kilo. The rooftop terrace restaurant has a great view and the food is delicious. However, I'm not a big fan of the spices used in Nepalese food, so I found Indian curry to be better. The breakfast buffet 🍽 was slightly changed every day and was delicious. The restaurant staff were also very hospitable and lovely. The location is great, just south of Thamel. It's within walking distance of Durbar Square and Asain Market, and there are convenience stores, markets, and restaurants nearby, so it was a very convenient location. For this price, it's of this quality. I'm sure there are many other options, but if we come again, we'll definitely book here!
