Before departure, I received a warm reminder call from the hotel, in addition to the regular address and weather, but also detailed the location of the self-driving route and free parking. When we arrived, the front desk staff not only quickly checked in, but also took the initiative to upgrade the children's theme room for us according to the situation we brought children. This move made us feel the warmth of being valued instantly.
Shortly after check-in, we casually asked the front desk where to buy fruit nearby. Unexpectedly, ten minutes later, a staff member knocked on the door and handed over a small plate of washed and cut seasonal fruits, saying that it was the hotel's intention to prepare the guests. This little move surprised our whole family.
The facilities in the room are very thoughtful. In addition to regular items, children's slippers are also equipped. At night, I found that the child was a little coughing. I called the front desk to ask if there was rock sugar. Soon the staff sent a small bowl of warm rock sugar Sydney soup. The care of sending charcoal in the snow was really moving.

The scenery here is pleasantly surprised all day. In the evening, I watched the sunset in the room or the lawn. The sky color changed and it was very shocking. Make tea in the stove on the lawn, face the dusk mountain view, roast orange sweet potatoes, the atmosphere is full. After nightfall, because of the small light pollution, you can see the clear starry sky. From sunset to night view, the B&B uses the excellent location to provide a complete natural healing experience, which is a great choice for tourists seeking beauty and atmosphere.

Had a fantastic stay! We were on the 26th floor and the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was really nice! The room was very spacious, and even though it was a twin room, the beds were wide and soft. Great experience. Although the hotel is a bit older, all the facilities are very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options, including both continental and very local dishes like 'Bo Bo Chicken' and 'Zhong Shui Jiao' (dumplings). The 'Bo Bo Chicken' had good seasoning, and there were many choices for freshly boiled noodles, which also tasted great! I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu! The location is fantastic, right on Chunxi Road, with a shopping mall next door and easy access to the subway and buses. Even though it's above a bustling commercial street, the room was incredibly quiet. I slept in until 8:30 AM on my first day! Check-in is on the 15th floor, but there's a concierge on the ground floor who provides excellent service; they were always prompt in opening car doors and greeting us upon arrival and departure. I highly recommend trying the all-you-can-eat hotpot on the 16th floor; the food is great, and surprisingly, my clothes didn't smell afterwards! Because of the hotel's prime location, the room felt a little cramped overall, especially the bathroom, which was quite small. There are lots of great food options nearby, and it's really close to Chunxi Road. If you want to go to Sanxingdui, you can just take a bus from Chunxi Road. Chengdu truly is a relaxing city! Thoughtful Breakfast 🥐
The buffet breakfast was not just a perfunctory offering. The homemade yogurt was rich and creamy, perfectly complemented by honey, raisins, and banana chips – refreshing and healthy. The cold milk was also very fresh. In the hot dishes section, there were Sichuan-style stews and authentic spicy ox tongue salad, which was麻辣鲜香 (numbingly spicy, fragrant, and savory). Getting to taste the flavors of Chengdu so early in the morning was very satisfying!
First-Class Amenities 🏊
The constant temperature swimming pool on the third floor was absolutely amazing. The water was clear and clean, and when there weren't many people, it felt like having the whole place to yourself. After a swim, I went to the gym for a run, with views of the Global Center visible right outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. The yoga room had solid wood flooring, and with the sunlight streaming in, the whole space felt incredibly healing. I followed a yoga session with the smart mirror, and after a good sweat, all the day's fatigue vanished.
Overall Impression

This Home Inn I booked for my trip to Chengdu was easily the best I've ever stayed at; the experience was truly fantastic. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a lovely fragrance, which was incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff were also very warm and attentive during check-in, always greeting guests with a smile. Their service was impeccable – always available but never intrusive.
The hotel's overall decor has a distinctly British feel, and both the staff's attire and the interior design were excellent. The environment is quiet despite being in a bustling area; the whole place felt very peaceful.
The hotel breakfast was quite good, offering local Chengdu specialties like 'xiaomian' (noodles), 'chaoshou' (wontons), and 'douhua' (tofu pudding). The cleaning staff were also very friendly; the 'auntie' cleaning our room even brought us extra bottles of water when tidying our room during our extended stay.
The hotel is conveniently located in the city center near Xinnanmen Metro Station, just a 150m walk away. Having the metro so close made getting around and visiting attractions incredibly easy. Chunxi Road is just one metro stop away, and popular spots like Kuanzhai Alley and Wenshu Monastery are also easily accessible. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including 'chuan'er' (skewer) and hot pot restaurants. Just a short walk down University Road, you'll find even more local snacks.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the zoo and panda base, and the receptionist, Xiao Shu, greeted us warmly as soon as we entered the lobby. She gave our child candy and even provided slippers and a children's toothbrush – very thoughtful!
