I stayed here for one night before heading back home. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped. It was also quiet. Upon check-in, we were given two complimentary breakfast vouchers for YOLO, which is just 20 meters away. The hotel is located inside a mall, which was quite lively, making it convenient for dining and other activities. I even stumbled upon a candy store, a Singaporean brand that brought back childhood memories for my daughter, so I picked up some sweets. The staff were very friendly, and the bed and pillows were comfortable.
The only downside is that the detergent they use for the linens has a very strong fragrance. I'm quite sensitive to smells, but my daughter and mother didn't seem to mind it.

I would like a more cozy situation.

The hotel is well-located. Since it’s an international hotel, I don’t have much comments on the overall welfare.
I stayed at the ocean suite and I can clearly see the sea view. The room is simple and clean. I give 3 stars to the service as I have experienced very nice service at other stays. I expected to experience better service as this is a 5-star hotel, so this is something that can be improved.

This resort in Uluwatu was an amazing experience! I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade upon check-in, and the room had a fantastic view. The resort's environment is beautiful and peaceful, with lush greenery everywhere. The staff were warm and polite, creating a wonderful vacation atmosphere. The pool is huge and I absolutely loved it; I could spend all day lounging by the pool. It's also quite close to the beach, perfect for surfing. Excellent hotel, super location. Malls are nearby, plenty of places to walk around and eat. The ocean is just a 5-minute walk for a dip in the waves. It's also the best location for excursions. I have a very pleasant stay here. At 2014 back then when it is still Nikko, my brother had his wedding here and I appreciate the hotel still have their name hang in the wall near Wiwaha Chapel. The room is spacious and clean. The AC works really well. View from our room is so beautiful. Make sure to book the ocean view to enoy the beauty of Bali. We had Mexican dinner at Grain Restaurant, delicious food with Latin live band boost up the mood. Thank you Mrs. Sumerti for the hospitality during dinner. The hotel is quite old. The furnitures, beddings, walls, and everything reflects the age of the hotel. Though the staff probably tried their best to keep the room clean, it is not.. The bedding has stains, walls have cracks, and pipes smell. Minimal amenities provided. It's cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.
The location is very good. Walkable to some mini marts. Grab-able to beach and shopping area with lots of good cafe and restaurant around.From€11

A very good hotel. There are 4 or 5 restaurants, bars, and cafes on site. They have an entertaining evening program. The grounds are large, beautiful, and green, with two pools (one for children with slides and a basketball hoop, and one for adults with a bar). Both pools are separate, so adults can relax by the pool without the screams and squeals of children. The children's pool has family nest-like sunbeds, which are very convenient. The service is top-notch, and all the staff are friendly. The hotel's location is also convenient, near the main street of Sanur, where there are cafes, shops, and stalls. There's a large parking lot for cars. The breakfast buffet caters to all tastes.From€52

I initially thought this would be the most negative review of our entire trip to Bali, but let me explain why it's actually the highest rating, and that's all thanks to the amazing staff. We stayed in many places across Bali and, of course, spent nights in various accommodations. Upon check-in, everything seemed perfect, but then I noticed the floors were dirty and the breakfasts weren't quite what we'd imagined. BUT, the staff called a cleaning crew who cleaned the room perfectly with a huge floor-washing machine! Later, we discovered that we really liked the omelets, chicken, and other varieties at breakfast. It would be a sin to complain given the incredibly low price of the breakfasts. The staff were always friendly and smiling, and I want to give a special thank you to all of them for making our stay so pleasant. The location is fantastic as it's easy to get anywhere; we chose this place primarily for quick access to all points of interest, and it truly is convenient. It's great that there's underground parking, so the scooter doesn't bake in the sun. Later, we decided to order food from the restaurant and asked for it to be delivered to our room; the portions were super large, and the cost was very reasonable. Also, there's a good mix of young and old people here, a great contrast! For those who prefer no insects, we also highly recommend it!From€41

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and genuinely service-minded. They were also happy to recommend places and things to do around the area, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay. During the daytime, there was some burning happening around the nearby rice field, and the smell came directly into our room. It became uncomfortable enough that we had to leave the hotel for a few hours and only came back in the evening.
The biggest problem, however, was the air conditioning. In the middle of the night, the room became extremely cold even though we had not intended to make it that cold. We were surprised to find the air conditioner running at 17°C with the fan at maximum speed. We had to wake up several times to adjust the temperature, and because of this we could not sleep properly until early morning.
The Wi-Fi was also very poor. Once our phones connected to the hotel Wi-Fi, the internet was practically unusable, so we eventually had to disconnect and use our own roaming mobile data instead.
Overall, the staff and service were good, but the air conditioning and internet problems seriously affected the comfort of our stay. If these two issues were fixed, the experience would be much better.From€17

This beautiful hotel has a vantage point of the entire Uluwatu region as far as seeing the aircraft landing into the airport. Everything is spectacular, especially the upper and lower infinity pools. Breakfast is bountiful. The best thing is you get free shuttle and access to the RoosterFish Beach club, which is great if you want a change of scenery at Pandawa beach. A lot of guests stay here because of this perk. Top notch service as everyone greets you with a smile. Seeing that I was travelling alone and staying only for one night, Aldi at the front desk made sure I had a great stay and gave me an amazing upgrade to their seaview terrace room, which really elevated my whole stay as I used the sundeck to sunbathe. I am genuinely grateful and will always remember my wonderful time at the Renaissance Uluwatu!From€119

My stay at Kenran Resort Ubud was mixed. I had specifically booked a room with a terrace on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but when I arrived, I was given a room on the 1st floor instead. Unfortunately, the room had a very strong mold smell, which made the first night quite unpleasant.
I raised the issue with the staff, and only after a fairly long discussion did they agree to move me to another room the following day. Once I was moved to the 3rd floor, the experience changed completely. The room was much better, and the views from the resort were genuinely beautiful.
My main advice to future guests would be to check the room carefully when you arrive, especially if you are placed on the 1st floor. Based on my experience, I would personally avoid the first-floor rooms.
The breakfast was another weak point for me. The menu felt limited and could definitely be improved.
Overall, the resort has amazing views and a lot of potential, and my stay became very enjoyable after moving to the 3rd floor. However, the first-day room issue and the breakfast quality stopped it from being a great experience from the beginning.From€75

The hotel is very close to Jimbaran Beach, only a 6-7 minute walk away. Plus, there's a really good Indonesian restaurant right outside the hotel that's not too expensive.
The hotel facilities themselves are a bit old, but they're well-maintained. The infinity pool on the top floor is very comfortable and offers great views :)
At night, there's a night market on the road outside the hotel. It's crowded, but there's also a lot of traffic, so walking can be dangerous. I didn't try the food, so I don't know if it's good, haha.
This hotel is part of ASR Ascott, but I enquired beforehand and they don't offer any special member benefits. So it's cheaper to just book through a third-party platform :)From€28

The hotel lobby is very well-designed and showcases a lot of artworks. I especially loved the lobby and the gym floor. The gym floor also has a departure lounge, which is very comfortable and offers unbeatable sea views. The lobby bar and afternoon tea also boast amazing sea views overlooking a cliff.
Looking up at the hotel from below at night gives a sense of pilgrimage. I was upgraded to a cliff-edge private pool suite and enjoyed complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktails at the lounge. This perk was excellent because not only does the lounge have superb views, but the à la carte breakfast was quite impressive.
The pool is large, and the children's slide was my kids' favorite. The loungers by the pool are all big and provide excellent shade, which is better than other hotels. I took a look at the Ritz nearby, and I feel this hotel's rooms and facilities are far superior. We also encountered wealthy locals having a grand wedding at the hotel and got to watch a free fireworks display over the sea.From€251

We decided to stay at this hotel for a night before our fishing trip, and we are so incredibly glad we chose this place! From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. The location is very convenient, and the sea here is just great for relaxing.
A special huge thank you to the staff, who are absolutely sweet and highly responsive. We want to specifically mention Nicho at the reception and the Duty Manager, Ryan Bawa, for their excellent hospitality. Right after we checked in, they even called our room to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything-such a thoughtful and attentive gesture!
For families, this is a fantastic choice because the nannies in the kids' club are wonderful and take great care of the little ones.
The dining experience was also a big highlight. The food portions are very large and satisfying, and the breakfast is simply excellent. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!From€89
