Before going to the Masai Mara savanna, I stayed in a city hotel in Nairobi for one night. It was very good. Vehicles entering the hotel need to be strictly checked by security. The guy at the front desk spoke English very well and was very humorous. The room had an overall European resort style, and there were birds in the morning. morning Call. There are also many types of room service meals!

The hotel was in a great location and they provided a free shuttle to the airport. The room was clean and the room service was great. We had the lamb chops, highly recommend. However, no toothbrushes were provided in the room, we also called reception asking for some and the request was not fulfilled. Despite this, we would stay again. Very convenient for our transit.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel during my 3 day visit in September 2025. The room was always maintained clean, tide and neat. Nice city views from the 9th floor where I was. Friendly stuff in particular was Zelec in the gym. He was ready to assist on anything and the gym is well equipped to give unforgettable workouts. Hope to come back again on my next visit.

I recently stayed at Best Western Nairobi, and I must say my experience was excellent from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and great service. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. I’d especially like to recognize Mr. Lazarus, the Duty Manager, for his professionalism and warm hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly during my stay — from check-in to check-out. His attentiveness and genuine care for guests truly made a difference and set a high standard for customer service. The restaurant staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and secure. Whether you’re in Nairobi for business or leisure, Best Western Nairobi is an excellent choice.

The hotel is in a good location, clean, and with a great view of the city. However, they had no toothbrush and slippers were not provided. I was told I had to pay an additional fee for that. However, that was not clear on trip.com. Also, it is misleading that one of the perks is a complimentary breakfast, but that was not included in my final payment. There is no gym in the facility, the show does not have a flexible hose, etc.... They also don't have stewards who help you with your bags; you are left to carry everything yourself.

Overall this hotel was good. The breakfast food spread was amazing and the A-la-cart items you could order at dinner were very fancy and delicious. The staff was friendly and kind (but they often seemed overwhelmed with work). There was a huge walking path in the back of the lot. The grounds were beautiful. The hotel was clean. The gym was small; it included a rack of dumbbells, two or three treadmills, an elliptical machine, and one yoga mat. The water jug in the gym was empty. We wouldn’t stay here again because there are really nice hotels nearby for 1/3 of the cost. Maybe the food variety wouldn’t be as good as Eka, or less beautiful grounds, but Eka was not worth the extra cost. We stayed two nights and the entire time couldn’t see where the $125 a night value was coming from. Sadly, the other Nairobi hotel ratings on Trip are lower, like 3.5. An example hotel is Maison Royale. But if you’re looking for a good hotel just a bit less fancy, go somewhere else.

Loved the warm friendliness, the comfortable room, great breakfast, and the view of zebra and ostrich at the nearby waterhole. Only surprise during our entire stay, start to finish, was the poor quality of the brewed coffee at breakfast. Kenya's coffee is better than that! We'll be back, to try the coffee again!!

A good value stay marred by ineffective air conditioning in bedroom. The park view room faced the sun meaning the room remained over 26 degrees for the full 48 hours we were there. Neither Reception or Maintenance could resolve. Shame as this puts us off a return stay.

Accommodation in Kenya is very expensive. It's relatively affordable here. Not far from China's Xinhua News Agency and the Chinese district. YAYA CENTER is within walking distance. There are a lot of sausages for breakfast, few dishes, pure Western style, you can order black tea for no extra charge. But breakfast is 1,500 shillings, which is not cheap anymore. There is no way to go out.

It was a comfortable stay with good service. Food was good. As im a tourist from overseas, not sure if my diarrhoea was from the dinner/breakfast here or it was from not being used to the food/food from the previous place. Nonetheless, enjoyed my stay. My partner did not get diarrhoea so am not too concerned that it is the hygiene of this place. Everything looked good with good security

This is a real treasure of a place! The atmosphere is old world charm, the food is fabulous at TATU. The bar is excellent with service and attentiveness to you needs. The gift shop is stellar for some nice jewelry. The facilities are clean as a whistle as they say...breakfast was outstanding with so many choices. The work out facilities are just super great, and the pool is heated. Ok, lastly the ambiance of colonial Africa just fills the air, from the art, to the breezes flowing freely through this wonderful hotel!
