the location is really good. the receptionist is friendly. the lady at the restaurant is really friendly serving sahur. the bathroom needs to be cleaned more

Very beautiful but scary. I feel a little regretful for the 800+ room during the Spring Festival. Advantages✔️: 1. The scenery of the hotel is really beautiful. I personally think it is more impressive than the Ubud Rice Terraces. 2. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic. Because we have to go to Ijen at 1 a.m., they will take the initiative to pack breakfast (but the food is hard to describe). 3. The fried rice in the restaurant at night is delicious. Disadvantages❌: 1. It is really too ”secluded”! It takes about an hour to drive from Ijen, and there is a long path to the hotel. 2. Too close to nature, including seeing a dead fly on the quilt after dinner, and finding a small spider crawling on the quilt when I was ready to go to bed... I understand that these are inevitable in the forest terraces, but for children who grow up in the city, these are a bit too scary. Fortunately, I slept until 1 a.m. and set off. 3. The quilt is very wet. It feels like it is because of the rainy season + living in the forest terraces. The whole house feels damp. Considering the price overall, it is not particularly recommended. It should be more suitable for friends who are not afraid of insects and like to be close to nature.

Very beautiful hotel, amazing territory, atmosphere, food is super, everything is very cool, but there is one BUT - now it is the month of Ramadan and no one warned us about the sounds from three o'clock in the morning🥲 it was very audible, even with earplugs. Naturally, we did not get enough sleep and did not rest after the volcano..

It’s really convenient to go to Yizhen Volcano🌋. The hotel can directly arrange a chartered car and guide. The hotel room is very large. The surrounding environment is really unforgettable. It feels like an outdoor peach garden. The service and meals are great.

Likely the best hotel in the area. The rooftop bar has a fantastic atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

We use this place every time we go to Ijen to do birdwatching for years. Room is ok with warm and good water pressure. They have western and local restaurant on site. The Western one was ok but the local restaurant is always a no and serve poor quality food, the warung can serve better Nasi goreng than in here. Some of the server in the local restaurant are lack of training.

Such a nice Hotel in Banyuwangi. Very calm, noiseless, very close to beach, enjoying breakfast while seeing to nice view of Bali. What a great experience staying this Hotel. 👍

Staying at Illira was one of the best experience. The staffs was incredibly kind and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast menu was vary and the taste is quite good. But at the top of all that was the hotel view, it was Bali straits and mount Ijen, incredible😍😍 thank you Illira

very recommended for family trip, the room clean, friendly staffs with great services, the breakfast delicious with many variations menu, will be back again once we visit banyuwangi
