This stay had a mix of very prominent pros and cons. It's suitable for families with children, but those who are particular about their environment might want to look elsewhere.
Half of the hotel is currently under renovation, and there's construction going on next door, leading to a lot of dust. The rooms themselves are a bit dated, and you can tell the facilities have seen better days, which slightly impacted my mood during the stay.
However, the service truly deserves praise. The staff were enthusiastic and responsive to any issues, handling them very efficiently.
The hotel's highlights are perfect for families:
There are three pools to choose from, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained; it boasts a private beach that's quiet and uncrowded, with a comfortable environment perfect for gazing at the sea or simply relaxing. They also organize different themed activities daily, with evening performances, ensuring that entertaining the kids is never boring.
Regarding dining, it's an all-inclusive package. The daily meals were quite ordinary in taste, but the advantage is being able to book different specialty dinners in advance, which helps to vary the flavors a bit. Getting enough to eat wasn't an issue.
In summary: Its strengths lie in the family-friendly amenities, beach environment, and service. Those bothered by renovations, dust, and old rooms should think twice. However, families looking for a pure vacation with kids, seeking ease and convenience, might consider it.

When i arrived at 1:30 am it turned out that the hotel was being renovated, and i had been moved to another hotel. This meant walking to the hotel next over, there waiting for them to figure out where i had to go. This should have been comunicated beforehands so i could have just taken a taxi to the right hotel. I got moved to the hotel next (alora hotel) over that is owned by the same company. Apart from this entry experience the stuff was very friendly and the hotel very clean with some dated. The food was a bit dissapointing although the desserts were always execellent (especially the arabian sweets).The location isnt ideal with some noice from the very nearby mosque.

The hotel itself is actually pretty good, but the front desk staff was incredibly bizarre. When I checked in, they offered me an upgrade to the 7th floor, saying it would be a 30-minute wait. However, an hour later, they told me a room was ready but then downgraded me to the 4th floor. They totally went back on their word, especially the guy with glasses – he was absolutely disgusting, acting like there was nothing I could do. I eventually demanded to speak to the manager and finally got the room I originally booked. The bathroom in the room had drainage issues; it didn't leak while showering, but afterwards, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. A room on our floor even had water leaking out into the hallway. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's not far from the airport, and there's a street selling souvenirs across the street. As soon as we entered, a staff member spoke fluent Chinese and introduced us to the hotel. We even added each other on WeChat to stay in touch. Other staff members also greeted us in Chinese. Before leaving, I compared reviews of different hotels and found many complaints about the food, so I didn't have high expectations. But it was surprisingly delicious! 😂 We ate a ton of food as soon as we arrived, and drinks and alcohol were unlimited. what's good:
18+ adults only. No kids, almost no elderly guests or Asian faces.
The facilities are incredibly comprehensive. Besides the buffet restaurant that changes its menu daily, the Greek restaurant is available for reservations every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, and the Asian restaurant every Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Plus, there are 4 or 5 bars! Every day was spent eating, playing, and sleeping.
The facilities are great, and all the following are free: tennis, table tennis, swimming, basketball, soccer, and yoga.
The hotel's entertainment team is so much fun, organizing all sorts of activities every day and incredibly enthusiastic!
what's to be improved:
1. Both the check-in and check-out front desk staff were very impatient.
2. I can understand the noise from the party themed nights; however, there's a construction site next to the hotel with drilling from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM every day, which is just too loud!
3. The hotel charges extra for sailing and paddleboarding, and the price is ten times higher than outside the hotel. They also frequently come to the beach to push sales, and their attitude is quite poor.FromKRW 311,778

I asked the Ctrip customer service representative in advance to help me reserve a room with a good view. I stayed in room 740, and the sunrise view was absolutely stunning. The hotel is large, with its own small beach and several restaurants, one of which is a buffet with different dishes every day, and the food is delicious. It's all-inclusive, including meals, drinks, and snacks. The service was excellent. The rooms are large, and although the facilities are a bit old, they were very comfortable. If you don't leave the hotel, you can play sports, sunbathe, swim, and enjoy food and drinks every day, making it perfect for a vacation. The Wi-Fi in my room wasn't working on the night I checked in, and despite multiple trips to the front desk and phone calls, no one came to fix it. The night shift receptionist was dismissive, promising to come check the room immediately but never showing up or providing any explanation. The Hotel was 20mins drive to Hurghada Marina. It did not have a beach front view as it is a second row to the other Steigenberger complex. The pools and lazy river were super clean and beautiful. The food was average but good compared to all inclusive resorts.
We were inconvenienced with our room keys as they didn’t work for couple of times and had to wait half an hour outside the room and our room far from the front desk. The room had a steady cooling temperature so don’t expect to get a cooler temperature to your liking. The room didn’t have an iron or iron board. We love this hotel. This is our first time in Hurghada and we made a great decision to stay here. The hotel is nice and clean, the room facing a swimming pool, with great AC, the only downside is the water pressure at the bathroom is a bit low. We stayed here for 7 days, during our stay we enjoyed all the hotel facilities. You will never go hungry staying in this hotel 😂 they have many restaurants with a lot of options for food. The staffs at the hotel and their hospitality was incredible. The facilities were super clean and there was lot of hard work from the staff to clean and monitor it. There were lot of fishes if you are snorkelling. I stayed in Block 8 and moved to block 4. Block 8 was very modern and nice however the water pressure seemed low in top floor and there was some smell from bathroom drain. The cleaner Mohamed in Block 8 is amazing chap, he kept the place sparkling clean. I have to appreciate the chefs and waiters for offering a great dining experience along with a safe and delicious food. The security is top notch. Thanks a lot for the great service. People are friendly and offer a great service, so I highly recommend it.
The snorkel kit at the resort is of great quality. You get everything you need in the resort as there are lot of shops and activities inside. There are tip boxes in resturants and for cleaners we can tip per service. I was not sure how to tip security / receptionists a tip etiquitte policy or notes from hotel will also be good.

The price/performance ratio is quite high. The twin room I booked is probably sold out, and we were upgraded to a family room. The resort is very big, but friends who are traveling with us feel that it takes too long to walk. This is not the hotel's problem, but the friend's problem. If you are the kind of person who likes to play in the hotel, it is still very comfortable to live in this kind of all-inclusive resort. We didn’t play the other rides much, because our friends thought it was too far away from their dive shop, so we moved to the old hotel on the street after staying for two nights🙄FromKRW 307,318

This hotel is advertised as a 5 star but I think 3 star would be more deserving.
Best points - The pool & the Jaccazui suite room were amazing. Their spa facility and gym looked very good.
Bad points - I was not given my welcome pack until the day before I checked out. The buffet food was very basic with not much flavour. All the pastries were basic and bland besides the baklava.
I was told they are short staffed and have no drink when I asked room service to bring some up.
The A La Carte was all pre booked so I cannot comment on how those were as I did not get the chance to try these.
The drinks were watered down and not great at all. Honestly I booked it based on the room and that was the best thing. Even when they cleaned the room and changed the towels they left the plates and drinks in the room.Great60 Reviews
