Stayed here during the Meskel holidays. Checking in took some time (2 hours of waiting) since we had no choice but to go to the hotel early before the roads close. Place has modern amenities that made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is okay, a good selection for vegans and health conscious alike.

Full marks, new room facilities, friendly service. Good breakfast. Good location. Disadvantages: The door card broke twice, the hotel's meals were too expensive, the premium was too high. The catering cost performance was not good.

A blast from the past. Sure, overall the hotel is a little bit dated, but this only adds to the charm and makes it feel like a little piece of history. Staff is as well trained as you will find in Ethiopia, facilities are great (thermal heated pool!) and the setting is gorgeous.

It's an old hotel, so you can't ask for too much. The overall experience is good, the environment is good, and the food is good. As a Hilton with history, it is very rare. There are many guests inside and the business reception is also good.
I will stay here again next time, overall it is good.

Very close to the airport with strict security checks upon entering the hotel. Tipping is customary, so it's a good idea to exchange some Birr beforehand if possible. You'll need an ID to pay in Birr or extend your stay online; otherwise, you'll have to pay in USD. Paying in Birr with an ID gets you a better exchange rate.

We had a great stay. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The shuttle from the airport was super convenient and took us about 8 minutes to the hotel. There were plenty of restaurant and bar options as well as some duty-free stores. Overall, it is a great option if you have a layover in Ethiopia.

The decoration of this hotel is top-notch in Ethiopia, but the training is not in place. I just checked in and took a nap on the bed. The waiter knocked on the door and swiped his card to come in and said he wanted to change the towels. It would be better to tell the time for breakfast. The person who went to cook noodles at 9:30 said he had finished work.

The hotel is not in the city center so there is nothing nearby, but it is not far to the city center by taxi. The hotel has a swimming pool and spa, but I didn't try them. The room is also average. If you want to stay, I suggest staying at Hyatt Regency. You won't be disappointed

Amazing stay! The hospitality at Haile Grand Addis was exceptional- we felt very welcomed and the attention from staff was 10/10. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend visiting.

I stayed for 2 nights, service overall was pleasant. Special mention to Asefa.
Breakfast is a good mix of sweet and savory, western and local.
Wellness center was not a great experience though. I booked a Swedish massage but wasn't convinced. And I was given a bath robe that was torn.
Just an extra tip, beware of people outside the hotel who claim to work for the hotel (or another hotel). Seemingly nice people, but may take you to dangerous placesFrom€45

Hotel Lobelia has a group of friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and help with your needs.
The food is amazing - club sandwich, Lobelia special grilled chicken Legs and Omelettes - and they can customise off the menu.
Location is perfect for the airport and they have a shuttle service that only takes 5 minutes.
I had a very short stay but will definitely stay here again.From€25

Some staff were good and front desk manager during the day but it's poor over the phone in the night and restaurant waitress.
Couple of days we asked staff simple stuff, like butter and we was told, there's no butter and almost everyday breakfast it was the same except on Saturday, they provided samusas.
There breakfast is very heavy 😕 😫.. rice, anjera eithopian pancake with mixed with eithopian spice sauce, different bread, mixed cooked vegetable, cooked cabbage, cupcakes, cakes and arabian beans and cold porridge make with water and one choice of cereal.
The room is big but the cleaning is not good and we found cockrach but we already informed the front desk manager.
Overall poor service, poor quality of food and poor cleaning.From€42

Hotel facilities: look at the pictures, which were taken when I checked in that day. Look at the pictures for bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: look at the pictures. Toilet: dry and wet separation. Breakfast: look at the pictures, on the 5th floor. Hotel service staff: I personally think they are very service-minded and were quite nice during my stay. The pictures of the hotel are consistent with the pictures of the room I actually stayed in.From€21
