Breakfast is rich in taste and variety. Facilities are kept clean. The face towel is soft and fluffy, but the bath towel is hard and thin and smells like the kitchen. Is it because I wash it with various things? Considering the room size, staff friendliness, and breakfast, this hotel is more affordable than the price.

The hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over.

Really not much to complain about this hotel. I was in Chennai on biz, the service was amazing, the hotel is beautiful, the food is great and there is a nice bar to catch up with your local partners at the end of the day. Highly recommend!

It is close to the airport, but if there are a lot of customers visiting the industrial complex, it is quite far.

The Taj Cormandel was a fantastic hotel and stay for us on our recent trip to Chennai. We were made welcome from the minute we stepped out of the cab. All staff are very helpful and friendly but Amit from the Chipstead deserves a special mention for his outstanding customer service and welcoming manner. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Housekeeping and services were top notch, plentiful large towels and hot water, plus some housekeeping surprises we enjoyed on our stay. Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice and culinary types, service was very well organised and any special breakfast requests delivered to your table.   Choice of restaurants for having dinner and a lounge for drinks and cocktails.  Swimming pool with outside loungers and fitness room are on the lower ground area of the hotel. Towels provided. Would recommend a stay here.

This is definitely the hotel with the best CP value in Chennai. First of all, because we stayed together for a certain anniversary, the hotel said that they could help prepare and upgrade the room type, which is more than six stars The hotel already had a good price and I was very satisfied with the superior room. Later I found that the swimming pool was perfect, not too deep, the water was clean, and there was no odor in the changing room, which was a big plus The breakfast options are also diverse and the food is delicious By the way, the hotel also has a piano that can be provided for guests to play. We also played two songs. It was really a big surprise in India where pianos are hard to find.

Wonderful staying.. Definitely will highly recommended for all who come to at Chennai.. always there have have someone who welcomes you with smiling face .. apart from you paid and stay .. definitely this is beyond that all .. warm welcome.. Helping staff … Always check your needs ( managers & staffs ) Nvr said NO to anything you asked.. 10/10 Definitely will recommend to all my friends and family.. and will continue my journey to stay here .. Staff at the reception are nice and friendly, crews and bellboys helps with your stuff. However, got harassed by one staff at the bar. We were being forced to leave where we are seated to a sofa near the bar and embarrassed my friends while we are waiting for the coffee we ordered at the bar. Tirelessly, even to the point of heated argument he never stopped until I made myself clear that I am going to report him. I had been a guest for this hotel since 2019 and unfortunately treated like this. This staff must be removed for inappropriate action.
