We stayed here during our trip to Vietnam for my father's birthday. It was his first time in Vietnam, and he had a very comfortable stay. Our whole family had a wonderful time. We are grateful for the warm hospitality of all the staff. They even surprised my father with a cake for his birthday, which made for a truly special memory. He was absolutely delighted. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, with Vietnamese dishes like pho and banh mi. It was very satisfying. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and it's a wonderful hotel that we would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

We absolutely loved our stay! 💛 The service was wonderful — everyone was so kind, attentive and welcoming. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel made it feel really special: our room was beautifully decorated with flowers, we received a lovely dessert, and even got a complimentary room upgrade. Such a sweet surprise! 🌸✨ The swimming pool is beautiful, the fitness center is great, and overall the hotel offers excellent value for money. The only small downside is that it’s a little far from the city center, but taxis in Ho Chi Minh City are very affordable, so for us it wasn’t a problem at all. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! ❤️

Overall stay is good except that the hot water supply in the shower room was very inconsistent. The staffs are very friendly and helpful as they can converse in English well and some staff can speak Mandarin as well. Tried to access the roof top bar but it was closed for renovation and will only reopen in September. Great location as described and is next to The Opera House and near to most of the places of interests and restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Mai House Saigon while celebrating our wedding anniversary. The hotel itself is beautiful—elegant, comfortable and very welcoming. We also really enjoyed the breakfast; the spread was excellent, with a great variety of choices and a lovely way to start each morning. What made our stay especially memorable was the thoughtful anniversary surprise waiting for us in our room. The beautiful rose-petal arrangement on the bed and the handwritten note were such lovely touches. It was completely unexpected and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We really appreciated the effort the team put into making our anniversary stay a little more special. It’s these thoughtful details that turn a good hotel stay into a memorable one. Pros: amazingly delicious buffet breakfast from western to asian cuisines. Delicious food and always fresh seasonal fruits. Menu changes daily. Their Triple Roomnis quiet spacious with bonggavillas on window sills. Room is cleaned and linens changed on a daily basis. Bar at the rooftop with jacuzzis and spa pool which added to the zen vibes. Lobby is dimly lighted but just enough to light the way which I think uphholds to its ZEN vibes. The location is superb. Next to it are spas for hair, nails, massage and 3 mins walk right through ben thanh market, saigon square, saigon center. 10 mins walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. Easy to catch Grab. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and communicates in English well. Cons: they don't have a swimming pool as what is advertised on its amenities. It's more like a spa pool where clients can sit, dip and maybe drink some coctails while watching the night lights and relaxing with the zen environment. However, the spa pool is perfect for my 8 yo nephew. He can play, swim on the pool without us worrying that the water might be deep for him. Bath tub is high so its not good for a short elderly client who got issues with mobility. My 78 yo mom got a hard time climbing in and out of the tub as its also slippery. We finally managed by letting her sit on th edge of the tub first before putting her foot in/out of the tub and putting towel on the floor of the tub while she's showering.

Pros: Nice one bedroom with cozy living room and a full kitchen plus washing machine. The bed is comfortable. The aircon was good and quiet. The location is perfect - i often stay around that area, everything is very walkable, taxi is cheap and quick. Some cons: 1) sometimes there is a cigarette smell coming from the ventilation - some guests are smoking inside 2) i think windows should be eventually replaced to modern with a better sound insulation as there are some places with loud music nearby 3) the window lock in my bathroom was broken

Hello, I was the guest in room 206, checking in on June 30th. After resting for a bit, I went out around 3 PM. When I left, my suitcase was open, and inside were clothes and a GoPro camera, which was attached to a neck strap mount and not easy to remove. When I returned in the evening, I noticed the room had been tidied. The next morning, I checked out and left my luggage at the hotel. Around 6 PM that afternoon, I returned to pick up my luggage to go to the airport. During that time, I opened my suitcase once at the luggage storage area to put something in. I didn't use the GoPro at all during my two days and one night in Ho Chi Minh City, so I didn't pay close attention to it. Afterward, I flew directly to Hanoi, and at the hotel there, I discovered my GoPro was missing from my suitcase, with only the neck strap mount remaining. I contacted you to help me look for the camera, but you said it hadn't been seen. After returning home, I carefully replayed all the events in my mind, and it's only possible that it went missing at your hotel. I hope that after seeing this review, you can help me check the surveillance footage again and contact me.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this time I really can't hold back. I'm going to give an objective, unbiased account of my experience below. The only pro: I booked this hotel specifically for the rooftop pool, which was hyped everywhere online. It's genuinely impressive for Ho Chi Minh City – high up with an expansive view, offering a direct panoramic vista of the entire city. It's definitely picture-perfect. Ridiculous cons: 1. On the day of check-in, my friend suddenly had an upset stomach around noon. We asked the hotel for a glass of water and were flat-out refused, simply because we hadn't officially checked in yet. They wouldn't even meet a basic emergency need. 2. Our red-eye flight was delayed by 2 hours due to weather, meaning we didn't take off until almost dawn. I thought I'd just extend our stay for another night and head to the airport in the early morning to avoid being too exhausted. So I booked another night through a different platform, hoping to just keep our current room and avoid the hassle of moving. The front desk flat-out refused and then, out of nowhere, assumed we were going to cram three children into one room. In reality, I only had one child; the parents of the other two children had already booked a hotel near the airport and wouldn't be staying with us at all. They wouldn't listen to any explanation. 3. The room only came with two small 300ml bottles of water. After finishing them, I asked for two more, and the staff immediately refused, without any flexibility whatsoever. My friend drank an extra 300ml bottle in her room, and they even charged her for it during checkout. When you go on vacation and stay in a hotel, you're looking for convenience and peace of mind. Instead, we hit roadblocks every step of the way. This kind of service truly doesn't live up to its 'influencer hot spot' reputation!

A quaint and cosy hotel in a good location, walking distance to Saigon Centre, Saigon Square, Ben Thanh Market, Bookstreet and Vincom Centre. Room is spacious but can have more lighting. Sound proofing is not very good as we can hear an elderly couple quarreling on our 2nd night at a building rooftop near the hotel. Made a remark in my booking on our wedding anniversary and hotel made the effort to design the bed. There were issues with the aircon before we checked in and we were offered drinks on their 10th floor cafe (which served hi-tea for guest daily). Hotel breakfast spread is good, mix of local food and intercontinental breakfast. Overall good for the location and breakfast selection.

Had a lovely 4D3N stay at The Odys Boutique Hotel during our trip to Ho Chi Minh City. The location was fantastic and very convenient for getting around, with many places within walking distance. What really stood out to us was the hospitality from the entire team. From the front desk and concierge to the restaurant staff and housekeeping, everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful and welcoming. One small detail that really impressed us was how attentive the staff were. No matter what time of the day, whenever the concierge saw us entering through the main entrance, someone would quickly come over to press the elevator button for us. It’s such a simple gesture, but it showed how thoughtful they were and made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. I would also highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel. While the variety wasn’t huge, everything was nicely presented and fresh. We especially liked that the menu changed every day, so there was something different to look forward to each morning. Overall, we had a really pleasant and comfortable stay. Great location, genuinely warm hospitality and a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend The Odys Boutique Hotel if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City!

The space is very generous, and the service is excellent! The only downside is the poor soundproofing; you can easily hear noise from outside and from neighboring rooms/upstairs. The room was tiny and not worth the price; it felt more like a motel than a hotel. The breakfast buffet wasn't very rich – wouldn't recommend it. No wonder there were so few people... In the public facilities, the two treadmills in the gym seemed different, which was odd. The pool was actually quite small (it looked much bigger in photos), but the rooftop view was pretty good. Some amenities were available on the second floor for self-service. Also, the restaurant was located one floor above the guest rooms, which was a bit strange to have to take the stairs up. Luckily, we were assigned to the top floor, so we could just walk up directly without having to take the elevator and then stairs. The only good thing was its convenient location in the city center; the area around it was also very lively. The room cleaning was spotless, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The TV could connect to Netflix and YouTube. Plus, there were free washing and drying machines, which was a nice bonus. If I were to stay again, I wouldn't add breakfast, and if the price is over 2,000 NTD, I wouldn't choose this place again. (I had previously stayed at another 4-star hotel at a similar price point, but the overall experience here was very disappointing in comparison. That other hotel was also in District 1, with much larger rooms and bathrooms, and it also had a gym and pool, plus a more extensive breakfast buffet.)
