The service was excellent, and the room was arguably the largest I've stayed in during my visits to Barcelona. It's located on Passeig de Gràcia, making shopping incredibly convenient. As a welcome gift, they offered chocolate cookies and cava – and really, how can you go to Spain and not drink cava? First off, a huge shout-out to the service! From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient, always with a genuine smile, and patiently answered all our questions. It wasn't just the front desk; every staff member throughout the hotel, from the pool attendants to the restaurant servers, made us feel comfortable, cared for, and truly valued. My elderly travel companions are quite particular about their food, and they had a few unconventional requests. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate them, and that feeling of being prioritized was truly wonderful.
The room's view also deserves a special mention! The moment I pulled back the curtains, I was absolutely stunned. The panoramic sea view outside was breathtaking and magnificent, with planes occasionally flying by. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and at night, you can see countless lights twinkling. Even at midnight, people were everywhere on the beach, chatting, playing beach volleyball, and even doing Western-style line dancing. Every photo you take turns out picture-perfect.
Facilities and dining also didn't disappoint. The outdoor pool environment was fantastic; just soaking in it and enjoying the view was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was super diverse, offering a full range of Chinese and Western options, hot and cold dishes, fruits, and desserts. Every morning, we started our day feeling satisfied and happy. For dinner, we opted for a set menu, and the portions were incredibly generous – enough to easily fill two people, and the taste was spot-on.
All in all, whether it's the service, the environment, or the dining, the W Barcelona excels in every aspect. Next time I'm in Barcelona, I'll most likely choose this hotel again! Absolutely fantastic!FromHK$2,944

The facilities looked too old for a 5 star hotel. Even the coffee machine was too dirty so I had to wash it many times b4 I used it. The stains were hard to get off.. Locationwise, Its a little away from the main area. It wasnt too bad. The staffs were nice but next time if I visit Barcelona, I would stay at a hotel close to pl. catalunya where the airport bus stops. The room was clean and tidy, and they even give you two free instant noodles (which were delicious!). Every night, they also provide free chocolates – such thoughtful service. The hotel is in a great area close to the city centre and shopping Square and also close to the Metro and bus lines. The staff are very nice and amenities are good. As a female solo traveller I felt very safe in this hotel especially because it’s a LGBTQ+ but hetero friendly hotel. The beds are comfortable just be aware that the shower is see-through so if you’re sharing you will likely see the person taking a shower. The pool was also very nice for chilling in after a very long day of exploring. Just be careful of removing anything in the minibar. I removed some of the things and placed them on the table because I wanted to use the fridge to put my food and drinks that I bought myself . I unfortunately almost got charged for the things that I removed from the mini bar fridge even though I hadn’t consumed them. I did however explain to the receptionist that I returned all the drinks in the mini bar as I hadn’t consumed them.Overall I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again.FromHK$1,606

We stayed 4 nights here in a triple room. Staff is wonderful and very helpful! I would say the facilities are great - pool, gym and play area are very welcoming. Breakfast are great too! Only one major downside would be the noise - doors banging really loudly, you can hear noise from people walking from upstairs, and the walls are so thin that you can hear people talking at the corridor quite clearly. Loud banging doors are especially annoying as it’s a busy time during Easter so that means a lot of loud noises :( I have never had this issue with Marriot hotels so I hope they can do something to fix the doors! The hotel's overall environment exceeded my expectations. It's located just off the end of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by many delicious tapas bars and great brunch spots. The 'Chorros' place across from the hotel is absolutely fantastic, and the coffee shop serves excellent coffee too. The hotel even boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant! Highly recommended!

Lowlights: 1) Lost money in the hotel. We left some local currency which was taken when we had the room cleaned. 2) We paid for the breakfast option in cash, forgot to get a receipt, the following day the guys at the front desk said there were no records of the payment nor the additional breakfast. They eventually conceded but you can’t help but think the guys we initially paid cash to pocketed the money.SOLD OUT

This hotel has an excellent location, very central and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The front desk is also very good, the people there were very friendly and helpful. The room is a little too small for us, but its manageable. Our big complaint is really just the awful housekeeping. They keep replacing our toilet paper with half/used rolls (it would really be very unhygienic if this was from another guest room)?! On our last day, one of the coffee cups was missing, and they gave us only one water. The worst part was after unrolling our bath towel, a clump of hair was inside (see pic). Lastly, while we were waiting for the elevator, we saw housekeeping open a door of a different room even though there was a ”Do not disturb” sign. We actually saw a shocked guest that did not have a shirt on. H10 should really look into improving their housekeeping.FromHK$1,575

The hotel is located in a residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the beach. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's a 10-15 minute bus ride or a 20-25 minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. There are also many great cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is large, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money.
