Upon arrival, the hotel was pleasantly polite and welcoming, and the amenities and cleanliness were up to standard. However, the final email bill upon check-out was a bit surprising, with charges for items we didn't purchase. I previously complained to the hotel via email, and while I was ultimately refunded, it still left a very negative impression. The drinks and snacks in the mini-bar, purchased by a previous guest, were not recorded or restocked promptly, and the bill was instead charged to the next guest. Such disorganized management, completely inconsistent with the hotel's caliber, has completely eroded my previously positive impression of The Peninsula. I hope the hotel improves its management to retain its guests.

The location is excellent, just opposite Hyde Park, less than 5 minutes away from Buckingham Palace and 7 minutes away from Harrods. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are well-spaced, and the service is attentive. It is indeed a good choice for a vacation.
